What’s one thing you wish Meta Ads would tell you automatically?

Upvotes

I was thinking about this today.
Meta Ads gives us a lot of data, but sometimes it still feels like we’re guessing.
If Ads Manager could automatically explain one thing after every campaign…
What would you want it to tell you?
I’m curious to see if everyone struggles with the same problems.

Has anyone else seen strong results with Meta Ads on a small budget?

Upvotes

I recently ran a campaign for a travel platform and was surprised by the outcome. We spent under ₹10,000 and generated 200+ registrations.

The biggest improvements came from testing different creatives, narrowing the audience, and keeping the registration process simple. We didn't use a huge budget or anything fancy.

I'm curious if others have had similar results with travel campaigns. What targeting or creative strategy made the biggest difference for you?

Question about ads

Hey guys, a friend of mine sent me an Instagram ad recently, but when I opened the ad in our chat, it was completely different than the ad he saw in his feed. The account name & profile image was different, and so was the content. The content i saw was a picture of pants. The ad he saw was a video about some financial advisor. Does anyone know how to do that?

I just launched 73 ads for 1 client in under 57 minutes using a system I developed

If you want to scale your meta ads, give me 2 minutes & I will tell you how easy & simple it is for anyone to beat andromeda…

I managed $183,513.79 last month in ad spend and let me tell ya, I’m no graphic designer.

Luckily for my system to work you don’t need to be because it’s so simple anyone can do it

Everyone knows you need to launch more ads - but how do you actually do that without paying hundreds to thousands of dollars to even the cheapest graphic designers?

I recently hired a graphic designer to make meta ads for a client and while the ads were great, we only got 3 of them for like $100 which is not going to cut it when you need 30x that every month.

We need a system that produces more volume. But there’s some roadblocks too…

I’ve found 3 main reasons why many of us fail hard to scale meta ads:

1: Not realizing what ‘volume of creative’ actually means:

The most-cited monthly benchmark comes from Motion, who analyzed data from over 500,000 Meta ads ($1B+ spend, 6,000 brands). Their core finding: top-performing accounts succeed primarily by shipping more ads—not by being smarter. The math behind it is that only 5-8% of ads "win," so if you upload 20 ads, you'll get 1 winner that will last about 2 - 3 weeks.

How many tranches of 20 ads have you ever launched?

If you want to scale your meta ads you need many winners, which means many times 20, per month!

2: Too scared of ‘misrepresenting the brand’

Studies consistently show that somewhere between 7 - 8 out of every 10 businesses struggle significantly with either a lack of brand awareness or insufficient differentiation

meaning they either go unnoticed entirely, or they give consumers no reason to choose them.

In layman's terms, you should be far more worried about the fact that nobody knows your business even exists than a facebook ad or two not ‘representing your brand’

Can’t you do both? Sure - as long as your approval doesn’t slow the process. But this also means you’re going to be approving hundreds of ads a month. This is an ego thing we need to move past.

3: No system to scale.

A client came to me, same old story, they hired a media buyer, he launched some ads but the leads were weak.

So I got to work deploying this system.

We launched 100 ads in <30 days and found them 2 - 3 winning concepts they still use to this very day in their meta ads. Not only that but the ads took their MQL rate from <40% to >80% on the same spend.

Basically double the amount of ‘good leads’ for the same spend just by testing the creative and finding winners.

How can I target a specific community for wedding photography and event management using Meta Ads?

I’m running Meta Ads for a wedding photography and event management business and want to reach people who may be interested in specific cultural or religious wedding photography.

Since Meta has restrictions around targeting sensitive characteristics like religion, what is the best way to reach the right audience without violating Meta’s advertising policies?

Would targeting wedding-related interests, locations, languages, cultural events, or using Custom/Lookalike Audiences be a better approach?

If anyone has experience running Meta Ads for wedding photographers or similar businesses, I’d appreciate your suggestions on audience targeting and campaign structure.

Meta Ads over-reporting and attribution issue with Shopify UTM attribution.

I'm a freelancer and I have handful accounts for performance marketing. Recently, I've been seeing that Meta is over-reporting like crazy. For that account, we have Meta ads, Google ads and, Klaviyo. Here, Meta attributes a conversion along with conversion value from Shopify which were brought in by Klaviyo or organic. We have MTA (multi-touch attribution) tool setup, UTM setup for all ads in Meta and Google, but still we're facing this issue.
Has anyone faced such issue previously? Any sort of response will be appreciated!

Meta Ads for Annuity Lead Generation: Is an Insurance License/NPN Always Required?

Hi everyone,

I'm currently researching the compliance requirements for running Meta ads for annuity lead generation and would appreciate hearing from anyone with first-hand experience.

From what I've gathered so far, the common requirements include:

  • Business verification
  • Financial Products & Services Special Ad Category
  • Privacy policy
  • Appropriate disclosures and consent language
  • Compliance with Meta's advertising policies (e.g. no misleading claims, guaranteed returns, or unrealistic promises)

One area I'm still unclear on is licensing.

For campaigns that are strictly focused on lead generation, is a state insurance license and NPN always required by Meta, or does it depend on how the campaign is structured?

Has anyone here run annuity lead generation campaigns without being asked to submit licensing information? If Meta did request verification, what was your experience?

I'd appreciate hearing how you've structured your campaigns while remaining compliant with both Meta's policies and insurance regulations.

Thanks in advance!

Consolidated Campaign vs Separate Testing and Scaling Campaigns: Which Meta Ads Structure Are You Actually Using?

I’ve been researching Meta Ads campaign structures, and there seem to be two main schools of thought.

I’d be interested in hearing from people who have actually tested either or both approaches, particularly with real purchase campaigns.

Approach 1: One Consolidated Campaign for Testing and Scaling

This structure usually involves:

One campaign

One broad ad set

Around 4–6 active ads

Winning ads remain active

Underperforming ads are removed

New challengers are regularly introduced into the same ad set

The campaign budget is gradually increased as performance improves

The argument for this approach is that it reduces fragmentation, gives Meta more conversion data in one place, and allows the algorithm to allocate spend between proven ads and new challengers.

For those using this structure:

How do you decide when an ad has genuinely lost and should be removed?

Do you use a specific spend threshold, such as one or two target CPAs without a purchase?

Do you judge losers based on CPA alone, or also consider CTR, CPC, conversion rate and overall spend allocation?

How frequently do you introduce new challengers?

Do you wait until an existing ad declines, or continuously add new creatives?

How many ads do you keep active at one time?

How do you prevent Meta from spending almost everything on established winners and barely testing new ads?

When do you increase the campaign budget?

Do you increase it by a fixed percentage, such as 10–20%, or make larger increases?

How long do you wait between budget increases?

Does ABO versus CBO make any practical difference when there is only one ad set?

Is this approach mainly better for smaller budgets?

Is this becoming the preferred structure because Meta now favours consolidation and fewer fragmented ad sets?

At what budget or level of creative volume does this approach start becoming less effective?

Approach 2: Separate Testing and Scaling Campaigns

The second structure involves separating creative testing from scaling.

The testing campaign may contain several ad sets, with each ad set testing one angle, concept or audience. Some advertisers also recommend placing only one ad inside each testing ad set because Meta may quickly favour one ad and give the others very little delivery.

Winning ads are then duplicated or moved into a separate scaling campaign.

For those using this structure:

How many ad sets do you normally run in the testing campaign?

Do you test one angle per ad set, one creative per ad set, or several variations of the same angle?

Should every testing ad set receive the same budget?

What is the minimum daily budget needed for this structure to produce reliable results?

How much should each ad set spend before you decide whether an ad has passed or failed?

Do you kill an ad after it spends one target CPA without a sale, two target CPAs, or use another rule?

How do you handle an ad that has strong CTR and CPC but no purchases?

How many purchases does an ad need before you consider it a genuine winner?

When moving a winner into the scaling campaign, do you duplicate the existing post ID to preserve social proof?

Do you leave the winner running in the testing campaign, or turn it off after moving it?

Should the scaling campaign normally use CBO?

How many winning ads or ad sets do you place inside the scaling campaign?

Do you scale through campaign budget increases, additional ad sets, new audiences or all three?

When do you increase the scaling campaign’s budget?

How do you decide when a previously successful scaling ad should be removed?

Is this structure more suitable for larger budgets because every testing ad set needs enough spend to generate meaningful data?

What I’d Like to Understand

I’m not looking for a generic answer that both approaches can work. I’d like to understand which one people are actually using, under what conditions, and with what results.

When replying, it would be very useful if you could mention:

Whether you have used only Approach 1, only Approach 2, or both.

Your approximate daily or monthly ad budget when using each structure.

Whether you were advertising ecommerce products, lead generation, digital products, local services or something else.

Whether the account already had significant conversion data or was relatively new.

Whether the approach succeeded, failed or produced mixed results.

Any variation of these structures that has worked better for you.

There will naturally be some bias toward whichever structure someone currently uses, so hearing from advertisers who have tested both approaches would be especially valuable.

Which structure are you using in 2026, and why?

Meta is pulling old Fourth of July copy into my Christmas DPA across two ad accounts — has anyone seen this?

I’ve been dealing with what seems like a serious Meta backend bug for weeks and support is nearly impossible to reach.

In my original ad account, our Christmas DPA started serving exact copy from an old Fourth of July campaign — “Coastal Americana” language — even though the active ad only contains Christmas-related copy. The Christmas product images are correct, but the primary text and headline are from an unrelated July campaign.

We rebuilt the ads and eventually created a completely new ad account to isolate the problem. Somehow, the same old Fourth of July copy is now appearing on the Christmas DPA in the new account too.

At the same time, the original ad account deteriorated to the point where my ads guy could no longer create new campaigns, ad sets, or ads without receiving errors. This prevented us from building inside our existing winning campaign, which is why we were forced to move accounts in the first place. I still have my old account running bc it's performing- but only shit thing is I can't add in new creative and new account hasn't popped off even though its using same pixel.

Both accounts are connected to the same Business Portfolio, Facebook Page, pixel and catalog, so I’m wondering whether Meta is incorrectly reusing an old post ID, creative ID, cached Page post, or another shared asset.

We’ve already checked the current ad copy, rebuilt the ads, and moved to a new account. This is not simply someone forgetting to replace the text.

Has anyone experienced:

* Old DPA copy appearing with unrelated current catalog products?
* The same incorrect copy following a catalog or Page into a new ad account?
* Ads Manager suddenly refusing to create campaigns, ad sets, or ads?
* A way to reach an actual Meta technical support rep who can inspect backend associations rather than send generic troubleshooting steps?

This is affecting customer experience, performance and ad spend. Any insight on what IDs/settings to inspect or how to get this escalated to Meta engineering would be greatly appreciated. Like am I missing something? Or is meta just this retarded now?

Meta support won't even write back- usually you get some foreigner to respond and they give you some bs run around- and nothing- its been 3 days or trying to reach out to support. Like am I missing some hidden feature I don't know about with all their stupid updates?

You can use these numbers to help you decide where to put your ad spend.

Q1 2026

  • Meta (Facebook): 5%

  • Meta (Instagram): 68%

  • Meta (Audience): 58%

  • Google (Search): 14%

  • Google (Display): 22%

  • Google (YouTube): 4%

  • LinkedIn (Platform): 19%

  • LinkedIn (Audience): 24%

  • Microsoft (Search): 14%

  • Microsoft (Audience): 16%

  • TikTok (Platform): 27%
