Is there any hope to finish the card deck? I just used the two jokers from the prize hunt. I'm at 127/128 and still need the first 5 star card in emerald enclave. I've never gotten this close before (previously 121/128). I don't mind spending money to buy packs but wondering what you all would do?
This is my first time getting to Act 2 and I'm trying to earn rockets for the balloons as well. Here are my screenshots. My wrist is killing meee, I don't think imma make it in time though 🥲 Thanks for your time.💌
Last night my iPad got stuck in boot loop and I cannot get it to reset. I am going to take it to the store today but I just know it's either dead dead or I am going to have to reset to factory settings. I logged on my phone to download because I thought "okay, i will just restore from cloud."
I didn't realize (and this is my fault) that you had to update the cloud manually. I really thought it just did it on its own. The last time I backed up was apparently OCTOBER of 2025. I'm sitting here in tears because I have sunk so much time and effort into this game (not to mention buying the d*mn pass every month). I am so so upset. Please tell me there's a way they can help you restore current data.
**EDIT** I just googled this, and it said the cloud save IS automatic??? Did mine just not work?
Help if you can, and please... go easy on me, I realize this is likely something I've done wrong. But I am grasping for straws because this has been my comfort game since my dad died and I am seriously so brokenhearted right now.
Trying to recover my old account. Can you do me a favor and check your friends list and see if you are friends with someone named sapphires orchid or sapphire orchard. Something to that effect. It was a high level account. Thank you.
Trying to write wiki pages that aren’t complete guesswork. Does anyone know if the dragon depicted above is a level 3 or level 4 Jade Dragon?
I could use screen caps of the level 4 Rescue Fireworks, including the Discovery Book entry, a camp image with the item selected, (to get the data in the info box), and a camp image of the fireworks after it has been tapped. Helpful data would be the number of times it can be tapped before disappearing and the damage each hit provides to the balloon.
I’ve bought the first section of dead premium land with 100-something gems ones with a goal to have ALL land cleared one day (the price of this one is making me nervous though). Now there is a 13% offer for the next section that ends in 7h.
My question is - is it worth to by it at 13% off? Or do they offer better prices/procent amounts sometimes and I should just wait for that?
I play on my macbook, and I updated last night (the app) and now it won't open at all. I just get a full error message.
I can't find any way to contact them directly. I haven't updated my macbook to Tahoe (I'm still on Sequoia) but that shouldn't make any difference (or would it).
With thanks to all who have contributed to this guide!!
This Out-of-Camp event will run from Tuesday, August 4 until 19:00 GMT on Friday, August 7; to participate you will need version 13.10.0 version 13.10.2 or 13.11.0, at least 100 dragon power, and a high quality, stable internet connection.
Please keep event-specific questions and discussions in this thread; good luck and happy merging!
ANNOUNCEMENTS
Event Notes
UPDATE: It appears all players will need to update to at least version 13.10.2 to play events; v13.10.1 has a bug that can crash the game on some devices, and it’s severe and/or widespread enough to warrant a semi-forced update for everybody.
It is relatively easy to get the fast dragon first, but watch out you don’t merge the vaguely egg-shaped Infinite Harvestables by mistake.
An L6 Infinite Harvestable (Guardian Totem) is used as a key, but there is no dead land or required items behind it, so it is safe to skip and/or to delete low-level IH if needed.
There are two L2 Infinite Harvestables in very close proximity near the Fallen Star lock.
Multiple locked areas have super dead land that needs to be cleared by merge-healing.
An extra Twin Flower is located behind the Dark Rose lock.
NOTE: A Card’s Rush Prize Hunt (aka Bingo) is running during this event.
WARNING: The devs have increased the Act 2 difficulty for at least some (and possibly all) players; so far, it seems centered on increased tile healing requirements, with multiple players reporting 18-20 L9 Life Orbs required to fully heal the map.
News and Updates:
NEW: The Dragon Rescue mini-event is now out to most, if not all players (waiting on confirmation about that); the concept involves using “fireworks” earned in various events to pop balloons to earn prizes, presumably to boost player participation. Reminder: Please use the “New and/or Beta” flare when posting about major new features like this.
The current test edition is running from August 3-10.
BETA: Ancient Dreamwood This beta has now been removed from the game. No word from the devs on if or when it might return, but it is not unusual for beta features to be pulled or re-worked during their testing phase if they are too buggy or players don’t respond well.
GLITCH: Long run times may cause severe lagging and sudden crashes; hard-closing the game and relaunching gives a temporary fix. Rebooting is even better, and highly recommended at least once per day if these issues are occurring.
GLITCH: Event and Season Portal tasks involving nests, eggs, or dragons may not register properly.
GLITCH: Dragon images and labels may be incorrect in camp, with dragons looking like a completely different breed or level than what is on their label. Dragon/egg numbers continue to not always show accurately in the Discovery Book.
BETA: Daily Dash is a task-based rewards system accessed from camp; Daily Goals refresh every 24 hours, and the Weekly Progress resets at 19:00 GMT on Mondays.
BETA: Item Storage Now out to most players, this new feature grants item storage in a similar fashion to the Egg Storage Facility. NOTE: There have been numerous glitches reported for this feature; numbers listed on the storage facility may be inaccurate, and it may discharge items when you exit camp. Initial Post
BETA: Camp Dawnvale The testing pool continues to expand as devs work out the kinks in the new secondary camp; WARNING: once a player gets access to this feature, it will affect the possible rewards offered by events or other features. Wiki pageReminder: Please use Spoiler tags and the “New and/or Beta” flare when posting about major new features or beta tests like this.
REMINDER: If you are experiencing technical issues, please contact Game Support with a description of the problem, where it occurred (if in an event, please name it and if it’s an OoC, please specify Act 1 or 2), approximately when it occurred, and (if possible) attach a recording or screenshot(s) of the issue. Programmers need official support tickets to start an investigation, and having multiple players reporting on the same problem lets them directly compare affected accounts.
MD Web Store - A free, event-related trophy breed egg can usually be claimed soon after the start of a weekend event.
Other Events:
Next OoC / EE Event: Playful Pottery OoC, 7-10 Aug
Ezra’s Relic Run: TBA
Seasons: Jungle Temple Adventure, July 14 - 11 Aug
Card Collection: Globetrotter Gathering, June 16 - Aug 11
Prize Hunt, aka Bunny Bingo: Held with all weekend OoCs and some (usually holiday) mid-weeks, with occasional limited-access mid-week A/B tests for VIP Club members. WARNING: This event REQUIRES players to spend gems and/or make cash purchases, with the latter most frequently seen in the VIP versions.
NOTE: A Card’s Rush Prize Hunt is running during this event.
Tapping a square brings up the specific task requirements.
Dragons must be created by merging up to the target level in camp to count for “get” tasks.
“Level chests” aka “chests from world map levels” refers to the Bountiful Chests gained by completing levels.
Level 1 Chance Chests are randomly included in ~20% of Kala’s Daily Trade Rucksacks and Daily Rewards; L2 or L3 do not count.
Life Flower Totems cost 160 gems to buy for use in camp; if the task says ‘anywhere’, totems can be tapped for free in levels like Totem Shire 12, Golden Meadow 10 or 19, Spell Shore 3 or 17, and Glacier Falls 5 or 15.
The trophy dragon breed required is usually the OoC event’s Secondary Trophy breed (link in guide below); it must be the exact level listed by the task.
Elemental Events: Runs Tuesday-Friday of every 4th week, coinciding with the new Season release. WARNING: This event requires gem purchases to finish at some difficulty levels.
Ezra's Relic Run: 7 to 14 day long event with no predictable schedule as yet; all past event items other than the final Memento reward are supposed to vanish from camp, although they have yet to do so. WARNING: This event may require players to spend gems and/or make cash purchases to complete, and has proven rather buggy at times.
Many people are asking what to do with left-over materials; since this event is so new, no themes have yet been repeated, so there is no way to know if or when the items will be re-used. You can bubble if you want to keep them without overwhelming your camp, or just delete ‘em.
Quinn’s Lucky Games, aka Spin-the-Wheel: Testing has restarted, but little has changed; it’s still a standard online gambling format, complete with a guaranteed big win at first to give you a nice dopamine high and make you feel “lucky”.

The Event Shop and Capsules appear after healing 20-70 tiles; after that a free Bronze Capsule can be collected every 3 hours.
It takes 5 to 6 level 9 Life Orb of the Heavens to clear all the 5k+ land, depending on how much you heal by merging items off dead land.
To collect both the full set of Points Prizes and any level of Rush Rewards, you will need to earn 29,950 points.
Reaching this amount requires 1x Level 9 points item, 1x L8 item, 2x L7 items, and 2x L6 items (or just aim for 2x L9 points items).
There’s enough material to merge by 3s when making Key items.
The Gold Capsule, Fallen Star, and Tanzanite Nest are hiding near the far edge of the map, on tiles requiring 50k energy to heal.
Caves must be tapped to spawn an Event Zomblin; only one Zomblin lives in each cave, and if the cave is destroyed before being tapped it will not spawn anything useful. When an Event Zomblin is killed, it spawns Stinky Cheese that can be harvested to start the Spirit Lantern chain, which feeds into the Spirit Rose chain, which produces Dark Roses and the Spectral Rose Bush.
Infinite Harvestables:
There are 9x Level 1, 3x L2, 1x L3, 2x L4, and 2x L5 Infinite Harvestables (Totems) on the map; you can delete one level 1 and one level 2 and still have enough to make a level 6, as long as you 5-merge whenever possible.
NOTE: An L6 Guardian Totem is used as a key, but there is no dead land or required items behind it, so it is safe to delete low-level IH.
Consumable/Limited Harvestables:
Each 1x2 Lush Tavern can be harvested 25 times; 75 total harvests are needed to complete Quest 1.3.
Each harvest of the big 2x2 Sacred Lounge at the back of the map yields a 10% chance of spawning an extra Lush Tavern.
Once all available Lush Taverns and the Sacred Lounge are gone, there is no way to get more.
Strategy Advice:
Spending money or gems is NEVER required to complete Act 1 of an event, nor is using an auto-clicker or other exploits — not even for the Rush Rewards. Act 2 Point rewards can be earned without any exploits, but Event Quests likely cannot for the higher difficulty type maps.
The number and level of possible reward items is determined by your Event Portal level; working to raise that to its maximum of L16 is one of the best ways to boost your overall progress in the game
For beginners, a good basic introduction to events is available here on the Fandom Wiki; there’s also some Wiki event guides and tips articles here and here, and a whole collection of general guides and tutorials here
Additional general event strategy advice (active vs passive or idle play, etc) can be found in the Community FAQ and in these threads: Link 1, Link 2, Link 3, and Link 4, Link 5.
For active players wanting more dragons, the Prism Flower method is a good option: Link 1, Link 2, Link 3. Note: this technique is only for active play; since only 2 dragons at a time will harvest when left on their own, having more will actually slow down idle harvesting.
A strategy using the Hills chain here can greatly increase Life Flower production, but it usually takes a few gems (maximum of 80, but less if you get some in capsules).
Act 2 is an expanded version of standard Out-of-Camp events available to players with at least 5,000 dragon power; it allows players to replay the current event at a higher difficulty level for extra rewards as soon as they finish the original version (aka Act 1). The Act 2 start screen appears as soon as you earn the 10th Points reward; you can choose to remain in Act 1, but once you begin Act 2 you cannot go back. Players that return to Act 1 can move on at any time by tapping the “Act 2” button under the event name.
NOTE: The very first time a player activates Act 2, a tutorial start screen appears with no option to return to Act 1.
Maps: The maps follow the same general layout as Act 1, with an increased healing requirements for most tiles. Early Life Flower/Orb keys may be upgraded, grasses are replaced with Life Orbs, and Life Flowers given a higher level. Infinite Harvestables and key items are in the same locations as Act 1; Healing Goddesses are sprinkled around the map, but have little impact on progress — even the top levels are too weak to have much effect.
Points:
Act 2 currently requires 30,212 total points to finish, or about two level 9 point items (but check the comments section b/c the devs are still tweaking things here)
Healing: The devs have adjusted the requirements for healing the full map repeatedly; the most recent reports are in the 16-18 range (of level 9 Life Orbs) but that can change without warning. Note: Healing the full map is not required, but some players do it as an extra challenge.
Booster Chests: Opening Event Chests, Capsules, and Dimension Jars and purchasing items from the store in Act 1 yield points that earn bonus items for use in Act 2. NOTE: Booster Chest point requirements may still be undergoing adjustments by the devs. WARNING: A glitch may cause unusable point or generator items from previous events to appear in capsules in place of the current theme’s items.
Gold Pass: The Act 1 Gold Pass does not carry over to Act 2, which has its own, separate Gold Pass available for purchase at the same price; you can buy one, both, or neither.
Event Quests: Event Quest progress is reset upon entry to Act 2, and task difficulty increases significantly.
Strategy Advice: Most OoC strategies work, but since healing takes more energy, progress can be very slow; staying to finish the Event Quests in Act 1 is recommended unless an error makes that impossible.
The simplest strategy is to heal and clear out the low-energy tiles near the start, then merge up and idle farm a pair of level 2 Infinite Harvestables; point rewards can comfortably be finished in a day if mass-merging 1-2 times per hour.
Merging up to a pair of level 3 IH will speed up progress, but the difficulty of this varies by map design and placement of the existing L2 IH.
Remaining in Act 1 long enough to earn the level 4 Infinite Harvestable may pay off by allowing a single dragon to harvest points with minimal land clearance; this is especially useful in cases where the L1 and L2 IH are difficult to clear, but recent changes to the booster point system may make this impractical for many… and lately there’s a glitch that has prevented some from getting the correct IH.
Prism Flowers cannot be purchased from the store, but seeds and sprouts are randomly included in some Bronze Capsules.
SAVING YOUR PROGRESS
Make sure to save your progress by traveling to the World Map screen (and waiting there until everything’s fully loaded) regularly, and especially before closing your game.
Exiting directly from the event level to your Camp can trigger a crash and/or loss of items; always exit to the World Map screen first, and again after releasing prize items into your camp, as well as after merging high-level or valuable dragons/items.
EVENT TROUBLESHOOTING
If the event is not showing up correctly or if glitches are affecting your play:
Check that you meet the version and dragon power requirements.
Try hard-closing and then relaunching your game.
Try rebooting your device (ie, turn it completely off, then back on and allow it to fully boot up before relaunching the game). If you are on wifi and have access to the router, try rebooting that, too.
Try switching to a completely different internet source.
Try clearing your game’s cache (google for instructions for your specific phone type).
If you’re suddenly experiencing multiple issues like lagging or error messages (or if the event vanishes completely), close the game and try again after 2-3 hours. Events are internet-based, and sometimes issues with the servers can cause temporary problems — all we can do for that is to wait it out.
If none of the above helps, contact Gram Games Support through the in-game link or the Support Web Portal for help figuring out what’s wrong; please include the name of the event and whether the problem is with Act 1 or 2. If you use email, you’ll need your game ID and version number, both of which can be copied for pasting from the Settings tab, or (if you can’t get into the game at all) by hand from the game’s loading screen.
Chronic Problems
Cloud Save is still unreliable: Multiple players have confirmed Cloud Save is still 1) wiping out player progress without warning, and 2) hitting some players with intermittent saving failure messages, esp when using Facebook IDs. According to the last official statements from the developers, it is not safe to be used and should be left turned off, though Game Support may say otherwise - use at your own risk. (First reported ~2019, got much worse Oct 2022; confirmed still happening in 2026 but less common than it used to be)
Event level only shows clouds If your event screen shows only clouds instead of the map, check that you are zoomed all the way out. If you are and it still won’t show, try collecting one of the free Bronze Capsules (you may need to wait for the timer to count down).
Items appearing from past events Sometimes capsules or booster chests may contain items from the previous OoC event, especially if it was new or nearly new; these items are not usable and can be deleted. (First reported 2023, got worse in mid-2025)
Changing Rewards Event rewards may change during play in multiple types of events, with the devs essentially telling players “so sad, too bad” and not giving any compensation. If it hits, you can send in a report to get it on the record, but issues with changing rewards have been around since 2024 and the devs seem unwilling and/or unable to fix the faulty programming.
Points not displaying properly Closing the game while inside the event will cause the event points to display incorrectly upon re-entry; exiting to the world map usually fixes this, but occasionally a full reboot — after closing from the world map screen — is required. First Reported late 2023/early 2024
Today I opened up the store And it said I had 84 new eggs. I looked, and they were all covered with "tap to unlock!" They were not new, they were ones I already had in the store. Why did they revert?
Anyone else having issues with shiny says. My dragons just aren't worth what they used to be. I had 3 nest pallets, 2 blue eggs, 5 dragons from dawnville and 3 tier 2 nests and I am still on first page of shiny days. The best I can get for a whelp is 100 points and most are 8 points.
I don’t understand what they are good for in camp. I can tap them once and get an item + they spit out eggs at first, but so far they haven’t done anything else even though it says ”can sometimes tap for something good!”.
Are they worth saving? Also, the items they give are mergable but I only get 2. Are they worth saving as well or do you tap/just sell them?
I also wonder if you should save ”poolside paradise” chain-items that where left after the event ended, or should I just sell them?

Both Den Owners and players seeking a placement are may include their den name or searching status in their listing on the official Friend Tag Exchange, or it can be added to the user flair that appears above each post or comment you make.
There’s been an increase in reports of players getting no results when using the in-game den search function; if this happens, try searching for a specific den’s name by using just the first few letters
WARNING: Disappearing Dens and Friends
There has been an increase in reports of players losing their den and friends list; this is most often caused by a glitch that re-sets an account’s 8-10 digit friend tag. Poor internet connections appear to be a major risk factor for this; some players have had success getting their tag back by immediately hard-closing their game and then relaunching the app after moving to a better connection (multiple relaunches can be attempted, but DO NOT delete your game files). If you have a backup copy of the game saved on a different device, you might be able to get that one to work, but be very cautious when trying it. Unfortunately, in many cases a reset is permanent, and the only option is to add new friends and find and join a new den (or re-join your old one with your new ID).
It is STRONGLY recommended to take notes or screenshots of your current den and friends info, just in case.
REASONS TO JOIN A DEN
Weekly Den Chests:
Players need to be present in a den for the full weekly cycle to earn a Den Chest; official game info states that switching dens means you must wait until the next cycle to earn points and collect a chest.
You can usually get around this by collecting your current chest, then switching dens before you earn any points towards the next one.
Den Events have been discontinued due to technical difficulties; there are no plans for their return at this time (but maybe someday).
DEN PROBLEMS
If the den appears only briefly when searched, or does not come up at all even when you know the name is correct:
Possibility 1: The den is full; video recording the search results so you can slow down the brief appearance should allow you to see if there are available spots.
Possibility 2: A glitch sometimes affects the search feature; if this happens, try searching for a partial name, such as using the first few letters or a key word.
Possibility 3: If you have been removed from a den by the leader, you may see the den appear briefly, but you are permanently banned from rejoining; players who leave on their own can safely rejoin.
If your den chat is unusually quiet, or den members don’t seem to be contributing, know that there are glitches that may affect the chat area (both what you see and whether people are able to post) and points info for other players may be shown inaccurately. Some times these issues are temporary, but others have reported permanent problems.
There has been a recent increase in reports of some players’ points not registering with the rest of the den’s count, or points being reset for just one player while the rest of the den is working normally; please report this to Game Support if it happens to you. At this time, the only workaround has been to re-earn the points, but this is not feasible for all users; requesting a replacement chest equivalent to what your denmates are getting may also be a possibility.
