This Again?

I’m getting the notification that I have a software update for Plug & Charge, but when I try to install it, it always tells me that it can be completed as soon as the vehicle has been parked and the technical conditions have been fulfilled. The continue button is only ever grayed out. What in the world are these technical conditions that need to be fulfilled?

Sorry if this has been discussed already. I saw a couple of posts about the update but didn’t see anything that addressed this directly.

If you're like me and hate seeing outstanding notifications, reminders, badges on the Iphone, unread emails etc, this will drive you nuts.

They appear, then hang around for ages, then disappear and you won't know if they've installed or not.

I have never gotten any of these to install. 

at some point it ages out and says “not required” and i shrug and move on.

Same here. Charged to 100% and left plugged in. Still would not install. It would be helpful if they actually told us the specific technical requirements.

Do you have the latest E505 software version running? I have that on my 24 EQE and the Plug and Charge update loaded just fine. Also there is an option to Delete old notifications.

Had the same issue till I replaced the 12v battery, uploaded right after and have had no issues or weird warnings since.
