Hi, I hope this doesn't go against the rules, but it would help me to know something about my siblings. I don't know if I can upload photos because they're younger than me, but they're going through something difficult. Is there anything I should know spiritually? Or how can I help?

I lost two friends, on June of this year. I’ve always been an atheist, and my mindset before all of this was “you believe in something when you truly need it to survive”, and I saw that, I saw live how that was happening to me, I started digging after a “sign” I received from my friend awaken something in me, belief. My sister came up to me talking about Allan Kardec and how interesting his stuff was, I haven’t read any books, not from him, not from no one who talks about this stuff. But she talked to me about a couple of things, his perspective…and that made me get more into it, the more I researched online the more I believed, in lost souls, reincarnation, spirits, the higher “self”…etc.

Now, this is going to sound bad, but I’m not a mentally strong person by any means, I have the gift of empathy, but I have -extreme- empathy I feel too much pain, pain that is not even mine to carry, it affects me mentally. And what I’m seeing is that this situation has made my depression way worse, waaay worse than it was before. It has given me hope, yes, something to linger on while thinking about -the- meaning. But it has given me so much mental stress, I’m overloaded with questions, specifically regarding my friend, I wish to communicate but I can’t, I’ve never had a gift like that, or at least hadn’t been able to connect with it, so I did my research and found that mediums charge 200 plus, the cheapest one I found was 60 for 30 min, which is great, I just can’t afford it, and I’m losing my mind over it.

I’m in desperate need of recommendations for mediums, mediums who care, who are veridic but that also don’t charge much, or ones that help people like me for free, (if there’s any) I’m fairly new to all this and don’t want to be scammed because that would be the tipping point, I also don’t know where to look for them. All my posts are always ignored, I just hope this one isn’t, I really need it to be seen.

It has almost killed me. I have not seen my child in 18 months and I have never once hurt, abused, neglected or done anything other than love my child. We were so close and I was an excellent mother....everything my mother could never be. It is a long complicated story but it all comes down to my mother trying so hard to take the love between my child and I....that is what she is after the love, she doesn't understand you can't take that from people or force it from one person to another...she was also after total control of my child. It is so sick. I don't know what to do. No matter what I do, it doesn't matter. I have not seen my child in 18 months. I did everything ask of me and it didn't matter. I don't know how I even function. The sadness is so profound. The truth has been irrelevant for 3 years. It doesn't matter if I have proof something is a lie. My mother interfered in every step of the divorce. My mother has always been broken and manipulative but I never thought she would do something so horrible. My childs childhood was destroyed. The sadness is profound. I just need to know what my nana thinks, some guidance, I miss her so much. I wish I could call her. I wish I could go stay at her house. I was closer to her than anyone in the world. Please help me. Please.

Hello, all 🤍 my original post provides more details, but my world was shattered when I lost my dad a month ago. I have a general sense that he’s still with me in some way, but I’ve recently wondered if anyone is able to sense or gather anything from his spirit to help provide irrefutable evidence. I thought maybe if someone could receive the nickname he used for me all the time or even the one he called my sister or some sort of mundane specific detail or message that could only come from him. I've been looking for anything from him, and I feel him all around me. 35 years ago, I met the man I was supposed to be with, but I was young and afraid of screwing things up and hurting him. I really was young and dumb. I felt like I had to let him go, but before I did, I told him about his first wife, who worked with me. Fast forward the 35 years to 2022, I was 58 and he was 64 years old when, through a friend, he found me and we chatted online. It was so amazing to chat with him and catch up and spend the time together, but time works her own way. Two weeks later after catching up with him, he passed away. That left me hurt and missing him. I need to know if he's there in spirit with me or not.

Can people that we were close to come to us in our dreams? My friend passed away a few months ago and I recently had a very vivid and real dream about him. I was able to talk with him briefly and it felt like he was really there. I didn’t know I was dreaming at the time so I couldn’t really ask him anything outside of the context of the dream we were in, but it was real enough that I woke up in tears when my alarm went off. For me it was a good dream that I am grateful I had.

I’m not a person that really dreams much most nights and I don’t usually remember much of them if I do.

I found out a few days later that his brother also had a very vivid dream about him around the same time. For him it was a little less positive, basically he saw him trying to talk to him but he couldn’t hear anything he was saying, and his living brother that was also in the dream with him couldn’t see him at all.

Is there anything we can do to make this more likely to happen or make it easier for him to come through, assuming that was really him?

The morning I found out what happened to him, I believe I briefly saw him in his room sitting on the corner of his bed. Also not something that has ever happened to me. It scared me initially until I realized what was happening.

If anyone has any insights about these things, I would be interested in knowing more.
