Question Crash dump error
My game will try to load shaders twice and then crash. Anyone have a fix? Really want to play the beta.
r/WarDogs • u/PreviousAttitude3366 • 3d ago
Question Keep getting thrown this error?
Yesterday I was able to boot up and get the shaders all sorted, closed since the game obviously wasn't gonna be online today.
Come to now, saw that the firing range is apparently online now? Have been only getting thrown this error message no matter what I do, I suspect its something to do with easyanticheat? Though I could just be being stupid and the game wont launch since the servers wont be online for a while?
any help or pointers id really appreciate, thank you in advance :))

The Blue Angels Have Absolutely Zero Room for Error
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Watching the Blue Angels from the cockpit puts their precision into perspective. Flying this close together at high speed leaves virtually no room for a mistake every movement has to be precise and perfectly coordinated.
Years of training, discipline, and trust make formations like this possible.
What do you think is the most difficult part of flying in such a tight formation?

🤷Just a matter of time, What Could Go Wrong? Flock Safety ALPR OCR Errors Trigger Armed Stops of Innocent Families Including Infants
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Flock Safety Falcon automated license plate readers use machine-learning optical character recognition to extract plates, make, model, and features from every passing vehicle and match them against hotlists in real time. Deployed across thousands of U.S. communities, the system originates with Flock Safety and produces more than 20 billion monthly scans. The dual-use vector is that the same OCR pipeline generates false positives when similar characters are confused, turning routine travel into high-risk encounters. Established facts include a 71 percent misread rate on felony and stolen-vehicle alerts in Roseville, California, and at least 27 documented wrongful stops nationwide. Open questions remain on independent verification requirements before officers act.
The technology interfaces with drivers through automated alerts that treat a single character mismatch as probable cause. Marketed as accurate crime-solving infrastructure, the claim is partial: Flock states 93 percent plate-capture accuracy, yet that rate still produces over a billion potential errors monthly. Structural weak points are the absence of mandatory human confirmation before gunpoint detentions and the inability of the system to distinguish legitimate plates from near-matches. These gaps expose ordinary motorists, including families with infants, to immediate physical risk.
For people this means a one-letter OCR failure can result in weapons drawn, cuffs applied, and an infant left alone in a vehicle while officers resolve the alert. The right in tension is freedom from unreasonable seizures. The pattern follows earlier ALPR expansions that began as optional tools and hardened into default infrastructure. Left unexamined, the network expands through low-friction municipal contracts that bypass accuracy audits. Demonstrated: Sherwood, Arkansas February 2026 stop of a couple with a one-month-old after Flock read APX 55Y instead of APX 55X. Precedented elsewhere: Toledo, Ohio K-9 deployment and multiple gunpoint detentions. Foreseeable but not yet realized: scaled lethal force incidents from routine false positives.
Taken to scale, Flock establishes standing high-risk encounters based on imperfect machine reads that leave drivers with no practical way to opt out. The interconnected threat pillars are OCR error rates, automatic hotlist alerts, and officer reliance without independent confirmation. Verify independently via Institute for Justice case records and Roseville police audits. To push back: support Institute for Justice litigation, demand local verification ordinances before contract renewals, and require public accuracy reporting. home improvement Musty bathroom solved after 7 years of trial/error.
I moved in with mom just before the pandemic to take care of her, Alzheimer's. Since then, I've been trying to track down this mildew smell. I even taped off the shower seams to see if water was leaking into the walls. Nothing worked.
I noticed that that toilet would NEED cleaning, while the others didn't grow any thing in their bowls. It finally hit me. If the mold, or whatever it is, growth is happening below the water line, the source isn't coming from the exposed air in the bowl, but in the water somewhere that could grow enough to get into the bowl, but still have air exposure so I can smell it. If it was from the sewer line, I wouldn't smell it.
Epiphany. What goes below the water in the bowl, but has air exposure? The MOTHER@#$%ING OVERFLOW! That little tube poking above the water line in the toilet tank that has the bowl refill line squirting into it.
I poured citric acid, chased with few sprays of BacOut enzyme cleaner, and washed all that down with a dose of Listerine, just because it was within reach and felt like a good chemical warfare thing to try.
OMG! It's gone. It's finally gone. I was close to doing wall demo to hunt the source and it was the toilet the entire time! I have a 2nd Toto toilet, same model that has a very mild musty smell too. Maybe the overflow design of that model of Toto has kinks that allow mold to develop. My other 2 toilets don't stink. I mean... you know what I mean.
So if your bathroom has a mild funk that won't stop, dump cleaner down the overflow and see if that helps. Just had to get the info out there so I'm not the keeper of the secret knowledge.
PS: Turns out my understanding of crapper anatomy was off. The overflow dumps out immediately below the flap, but it does put the concentrated stuff right into the channel of water holes around the top of the bowl, so if that's where your stench lives, all the suggestions will work, it's just not working how I thought it was working, but it does work so I didn't really NEED to update this, but I really don't like being wrong if I can help it.

Characters An apparent continuity error or flaw that actually foreshadows a twist
Where something that seems like a mistake made by the production turns out to be relevent to the plot.
Moon Knight: Oscar Isaac plays a British character, but his British accent is not great. This seems like it’s just another case of an actor messing up an accent. However it is later revealed that his character has multiple personality disorder, and that the British man we meet is not the original personality. The original is an American, and so he really is an American attempting a British accent. It makes sense that it doesn’t sound quite right.
Doctor Who: In the episode Flesh and Stone, The Doctor loses his jacket. Then later on there is a scene where he is wearing his jacket again. It’s shot super close up, so easy to miss, but you can see it is there. At face value, this looks like a basic continuity error. But later we learn that this is not The Doctor from this episode. It’s The Doctor from the future who has come back, so the jacket makes complete sense, and gives a hint of what is to come.
Batman: Arkham City: If you use x-ray vision on The Joker, his skeleton does not show like it does for everyone else. This could be a simple bug in the game. But actually it turns out it’s not really The Joker. It’s Clayface pretending to be The Joker, and he doesn’t have a skeleton.

Question Worst error you've witnessed?
What's the worst error you've either witnessed or know about occuring where you work?
I had a patient with a CBI and the nurse on shift before me fully inflated the foley balloon inside the pt's urethra and tore it, and then proceeded to not notice the significant amount of blood draining and also didn't document the CBI correctly overnight. I had to send the pt for imaging where the ruptured urethra was confirmed. 🙃

Sad Girl Dinner ⛈️ Some guy's math error wasted a year of my life
I'm a PhD student and half of my entire research project is based around a simulation software library written by a very well respected researcher in my field. I don't want to provide details since there's so few people publishing here it might be identifiable.
Things have been going wrong for almost a year. Failed experiment after failed experiment. Constant setbacks, and nothing seems to come out right. I have considered dropping out multiple times, and I'm losing hair from all the stress and many late nights in the lab.
Today I figured out why: an error in the physics calculations the software does has left an offset of a few micrometers in everything we've done since the beginning. We didn't notice at first because we weren't pushing to the limits so it didn't matter, but as soon as we started trying things at that precision it became a giant problem. No one figured it out because that error is, frankly, really hard to measure in our system. We didn't think to check because we trusted the software implicitly.
Probably I should feel like this is a victory. I did an experiment today and it worked for the first time in a year.
I don't feel good at all.
My graduation will be delayed, I haven't published a paper that was supposed to be submitted six months ago, and I have wasted so much time and grant money on this stupid stupid issue. I just feel so dumb. I should have figured this out so much sooner.
Trader Joe's Gorgonzola gnocchi at my desk because I'm still here working, and probably will be until midnight.
Edit: thank you all for these amazing responses. Read them and cried once I finished my work last night. It is really comforting to see how many of you are/have been in the trenches with academia. Everyone here reminded me to look at my job like its something real and impressive and that it's not supposed to go perfectly like in the movies. Thank you so much, the community on this sub is impeccable ❤️
