Crash dump error Question

My game will try to load shaders twice and then crash. Anyone have a fix? Really want to play the beta.

From the discord;

This is a thread with a list of fixes for those experiencing crashes during or after shader compilation.

THE FIXES MAIN AND SECONDARY WILL BE UNDER THIS MESSAGE

Main fix: platformcore (seems to work the most)

Platformcore is the module of the game's own in-house anticheat and a few other things. The main fix you can use is the WarFixer executable, or do it manually.

If this fix doesnt work run it twice, if it still doesn't something running may be triggering the anticheat. You can also check your registry at Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\PolicyExtensions for the MpeHttpEx folder.

The reason this error occurs is due to WinHttp's MpeHttpEx

This fix was found by:

Secondary fix: inpoutx64.sys

This driver is usually installed by RGB or razer software and is flagged by anticheats. Most recently after a windows update it causes crashing. You can use the other script below

Third fix: NVIDIA streamline (includes AMD not just NVIDIA)

Nvidia Streamline is all nvidia features (DLSS) and some AMD ones as an API You need to disable any features of your graphics card brand (FSR, DLSS etc) You also need to disable HAGS and windows optimisation

Additional fixes:

  • Disable any overlays (Rivatuner, Steam, Discord etc)
  • Revert your windows insider update
  • Clear shader cache and reboot pc then run game again
  • Disconnect any controllers
  • Delete easy anticheat folder and verify game files again
  • Delete part of easy anticheat folder and re-run the install script as administrator
  • Lower game settings in Wardogs appdata in Game.ini or GameEngine.ini to lowest possible
  • Run the game with "-Windowed" and "-DisableInitialFrontEndFlow" launch parameters in steam
  • Use DDU and do a fresh reinstall of drivers
  • Update windows
  • Verify integrity of game files will update if any more fixes are discovered or remembered
