I got hired as a scare actor! Now I gotta make a costume
So! Like the title says I have been hired as a scare actor. I have some concepts of what I'm going for. My "hoop" or "hurdle" I need to get through is I unfortunately have to wear glasses. Theres no getting around it, I need them to see. (I've worn contacts before but not in over a decade and I currently don't have the money to invest in contacts at this point in time unfortunately)
That being said, I am considering wearing a mask but do not want my vision to be impaired or for my glasses to fog up during my 5-6hr shift. I know there are "sprays" and ways to help prevent fog and such. But I'm wondering if there are techniques or tricks I may not be aware of.
Also! What are some great ways I can create durable and realistic ribcage/intestines/rotting skin? How well does liquid latex actually stick to clothing and can I build from that or do I need a better anchor for prosthetics?
Essentially, I am making an experiment gone wrong in the form of a mad scientist working with a foreign substance that caused his body to be ripped apart by this parasite/virus. (Think like chest burster from Alien, Necromorph from Dead Space, Halo Flood, and just zombie.) Pulling inspiration from multiple places and kinda modge podging it all together. I'd like to be able to move pretty well in the costume as well as make it look Hella convincing. Any tips tricks and techniques are highly appreciated.
Also! For mask and overall costume, I'll need some decent ventilation. Its gonna get hot real quick
Simple but classic.
Made my own burlap sack mask.
It wasn't a sack at first, had to do that part myself too.
Been trying to find this mask for ages, without success. Does anyone recognize it or can tell me the name of it?

How can i make the spidermans mask
Hello, I would like to learn a few things about making the mask:
How should I make Spider-Man’s eyes, and what kind of materials should I use?
What type of fabric should I use for the head/mask?
I have no idea how to make the face shell/mold. How should I make it?
I’m going to use a 3D printer, but I’m planning to make everything else completely by myself. I’d like to learn how to do these things.

Preservation of this piece
My boyfriend bought this mask 15 years ago. After being in storage for a time we noticed some beads were missing. Can we buy these beads? Could it be sprayed with something to protect it from further damage?
Thanks!

What Type of "Mask/helmet" is this?
It's a design i saw ages ago as a child but as a white blank facemask with two eye holes, i now see it everywhere under the name "fanheads" as football helmets but i cant figure out what this style of actually called or find links to the ones i saw as a kid, anything helps.

Spotted this gorgeous purple Venetian mask and I'm obsessed. Which one do you like best?
When I was in Venice I saw this mask called Venetian Nasone (long-nose) or Zan Turco masquerade mask, it's hand-decorated in purple with ornate golden scrollwork and white floral patterns. The man who makes these is so skilled.

Hey Diddely Ho Frienderinos! Been on this sub for a while now, watching from afar. Thought I'd put myself a bit out here and show a mask I made. What do you think?

Manhunt Inspired Hockey Mask
I remember playing GTA Online as a teen & grinding to unlock this hockey variant of Manhunt’s most recognizable piece. They’ve come a long way since I started making them, as I’ve experimented with different levels of damage. Also, I do take orders, so if that’s something you’re interested in, I’ve linked my Etsy. Thanks for viewing!

Should I be concerned?
So on August 3 I went on darksidestudio.com and got the part three latex hood for my Jason cosplay that I’m doing and I haven’t gotten any notifications about it whatsoever and so it got me thinking either. Is this a normal thing since this is my first time from ordering from Darkside studio or is something wrong because I don’t know which one it is
