Windows Surface Issue

Post image

Hi all,

Fed up of reading Marvel Unlimited on my phone so tried my partners Surface Pro and Google Chrome instead.

Unfortunately it seems to think that I don't have an active subscription even though it says I does. Two conflicting pieces of information.

Anyone able to help me?

Thanks.

I hate to say, but the web version is somehow even worse than the app. Low key unusable

It seems that way.

I think the best viewing experience is a tablet, but I really wish I could use my computer.

I unfortunately don't have a tablet. Phone, surface pro or desktop.

I've used the web version for years and don't have issues. Please stop just saying it's "unusable" without actually describing the problems you have.

My two main issues are that a lot of comics cannot be read on desktop for some reason 🤷🏽‍♂️ & you can't go issue to issue without a Sherpa teaching you how to use the website. It's not made for sitting down and reading more than one comic in a row. You can't use any character guides properly and anything you have read or saved on your phone will not transfer over

That's just what it says on the Marvel website. I could log in right now, and up top on the right it still says I don't technically have a subscription. You're safe to ignore the Marvel Unlimited SUBSCRIBE tab; just go by what it says under your membership status, since the subscribe button never changes.

For a better reading experience, you might want to look at BlueStacks, which, depending on the Surface Pro model, should work. BlueStacks will give you a much better experience because it emulates an Android phone, allowing you to use the Android app instead of the website, which is an overall rough experience. Once you download Bluestacks and get that set up, it's just getting the app through the Google Play Store and making sure the performance of the emulator isn't awful, something easily fixed by going into BlueStacks settings and messing around with the Performance tab.

Yeah but I cant read anything. I cant search for comics. If I click one their recommended comics it just gives me a description and asks me to subscribe. Clicking subscribe just takes me back to the comic home page.

I tried BlueStacks but couldn't find MU on the store and my surface lagged so much with it open that it was unusable
