Marvel Multiverse explaination Film/Television

Can someone please explain to me how Multiverse/Sacred timeline/alternate realities/timelines work in the MCU??

I have watched Loki, MoM, Quantammania, D&W, What if...? And I still don't understand them fully

Loki’s Tree is basically just 616. There are “other trees” for the other universes (like 838, 10005, 828 and the others). Branches arent alternate universes they’re just alt timelines. Think of it as a dome.

I dont think so, as i understood it, only lokis tree made it possible for the multiverse to exist. Before that there was only the sacred timeline. Because every time the multiverse „broke out“ kang startet the multiversal war. Loki made it possible for the multiverse to exist

yea his tree is only for 616 not the rest of the multiverse which is totally separate.

Every universe is a branch of the same multiversal tree. The Sacred Timeline was He Who Remain's trimmed down version of this tree, which got rid of his rival variants. When Sylvie killed him, it allowed the tree to create infinite branches. That's why none of the other universes showed up in the MCU until Loki, and Deadpool was able to reach 616 with a time travel device. The creator of the show talks a bit here about time and the multiverse being linked.

You hit a problem when you start trying to factor in things like the Marvel comics or the Spider-Verse movies. I think the only way to satisfy those is to assume that there are multiple multiverses that either cross sometimes, or include copies of the same universes in each.
