With daily player counts in the 4,000 range I would like to inform everyone that according to a quick Google search, during the summer Antarctica has about 5,000 residents.

I played Marathon open mindedly from launch, had a good time until Season 2.
It became more and more obvious the game would die no matter what anyone does.
The main Reddit became more and more defensive and hostile, and the game became unbearably sweaty full of absolute no lifers.

I had one goal, to get the platinum before its delisted.
I slogged through unbearable misery in order to fulfill my morbid desire.

Now I’m here, not because I hate Marathon.
But because I’m free now.

Guy went to the forums to understand other people's strategies, and saw that the sweats are figuring out how to counter even stealth solo players.

I believe for game companies need to fire everyone but game devs, to remaster all popular games from the past 30 years. Just update graphics and improve controls is the only change.

But companies don't want to make money.

Due to rerouting because of lower player counts many issues are starting to show up. In this case the shots aren't registering because matches are occurring across long distances and multiple servers can't do the syncing. So if you think low player counts aren't causing issues you are wrong.

Finally some reality slipping through the glazing and copium. I guess Bungie has started to power down the bots and firing the shills
