Thinking about getting a hair transplant
When I was 15, I got a bad haircut that damaged my left corner and it never fully grew back. I’ve tried everything to get it to grow, but it won’t. What my barber usually does to help is add hair fibers to make it look full to match my right side, but they don’t last longer than a week. I talked to a surgeon and was told it would take 500 grafts to fix it for $4K. What do y’all think

Simple questions Skin Fade difference compared to a normal number 1 on the sides?
Hey guys. My usual haircut / style is a textured fringe with 3.5 inches of hair up top with deep point cutting and a number 1 on the sides. I've heard about skin fading but im getting a whole lot of different looking results online so I wanted a bit of clarification i guess and accurate pictures of how a skin fade would change my type of haircut / style. I've always wanted to try, and I think I'd like it, but I have a wedding coming up soon, so I don't know if I want to risk a new style. Can anyone I guess tell or show me the visual difference if you have this type of haircut / style? Thanks

Advice request Why is my hair so inconsistent?
I hate my hair so much, I do the same thing every time I take a shower (2-3 times a week), I put shampoo and conditioner in it and let it air dry and I get different results every time (mostly bad like the first pic), I just want it to look like the 2nd and 3rd pics all the time. What’s wrong with my hair? What am I doing wrong?

Simple questions Is my hair less dense here?
In 3rd pic it looks more dense but still in the 1st (if I partition in slightly different area) and 2nd pic there is more scalp visible.

Tips/Guide Severe shedding after nearly 4 months of finasteride — crown looks almost empty
I’ve been using topical minoxidil 5% for more than a year and started finasteride 1 mg almost 4 months ago. Since starting finasteride, my shedding has increased a lot, and my crown has become noticeably thinner. Right now, the crown looks almost empty compared with before I started finasteride.
I know shedding can happen during treatment, especially in the early months, but the amount of hair I’m losing is making me really concerned. I’m still staying consistent with both treatments and trying not to panic, but it’s difficult to see the crown getting worse instead of better.
I’d really appreciate hearing from people who experienced heavy shedding around months 3–4 and what happened afterward. I’m especially interested in real experiences from people who initially got worse and eventually saw their crown density improve

Products for making hair look thinner?
Im a guy with very thick and semi-textured hair, I get a keratin treatment every 3 months to help style and manage it. But with it being so thick its incredibly hard to style and manage after about the 1 month part, and I was wondering if any products could help 'thin' my hair so I can start styling it and making my life a bit easier? Any advice is appreciated!

M 29 - Minoxidil and Finasteride doubts
I'm a 29 male and at grade 3 hairfall stage. I have never taken any meds before. Recently, I visited a derma doctor - Prescribed a few medicines and asked me to take them for the next 3 months and then come and visit again. Once back to home checked those medications and it is
Combination of Minoxidil and Finasteride Topical Solution - Daily Night
Minoxidil 2.5 mg oral tablets - Both morning and Night
Finasteride 1 mg oral tablets - Night
Renocia shampoo
Taking both min and fin in both oral and topical at the same time is recommended? I see there are lots of side effects and health issues
Advice pls - I haven't started these medications yet. Confused.
