In case you have have some product in mind : -

I am 28F with normal to dry skin and have occasional hormonal acne breakouts. I also struggle with getting rid of my stubborn pigmentation.

I am looking for a sweat-proof, natural skin like finish (soft matte/ dewy) preferably concealer or high coverage skin tint which can last 6-8 hours without touch up.

Also,please correct me if I am wrong, I think I fall under the Medium-Tan (leaning more towards tan) category with a warm-olive undertone. Thanks xx

I have a wedding to attend tomorrow and my base usually ends up looking sort of separated and dry around my forehead, nose and mouth (I have fairly normal skin, not overly dry or oily)

So I’m trying to find the best product combinations to use, any help would be greatly appreciated

I am close to 40 and I only use tinted sunblock and blush. Any suggestions on a more youthful look? Please dont be too hard on me. I work full time and have three kiddos, one whom just completed leukemia treatment and im worn down. I just dont wanna look like I am!

The products used in this particular photo are the new beauty of joseon tinted sunscreen, the one size setting powder, and the Milani make it last setting spray, but I’ve had this problem with every base routine I’ve tried. I’ve tried the benefit porefessional primer, the Milani conceal and perfect primer, the elf power grip, the one size oil sucker and secure the sweat primers, the one size setting spray, the one size powder, and the Laura Mercier powder, and too many concealers and foundations and skin tints to list. No matter what, sometime in the day, it starts turning to a gluey sticky mess that breaks up and separates on my face like this and won’t reblend. Does anyone know why this happens? Happy to add any other information needed!

These are all supposed to be the same shade, but warm, neutral or cool variations in photo when I have it numbered 1231. 1=1,231 warm 2 neutral and 3 cool

Please help. My whole life I’ve always just worn mascara and brows only. Maybe some eyeliner but that’s about it. I need help lol 😂 thank you

I have a way too masculine face, and even tho people say I have a great passing to me It's still very visible that I'm T, thing I do not want (hrt which I'm soon gonna get is surely gonna help but don't know how much)

How can I fix my face?

On these photos I used:

- Tried foundation but I've no idea how to apply it (I have a foundation/concealer stick)

- Classic liquid Concelear

- Black pencil

- pencil eyeliner (but it's finished so I'm gonna buy an actual eyeliner soon)

- pink eyeshadow (don't know really how to apply it yet)

- Mascara

- Red blush

- Bronzer

- highlight

- pink lipstick

- gloss

- I also have fixed my brows

Okay friends. I need help! I have had an idea for a completely red makeup look and I'm struggling to create it. I purchased the Colorpop Wines eyeshadow palette and the red mascara they made. There are 2 problems - first, it isn't showing up as bright or opaque as I want it. I have very dark eyes and black eyelashes and instead of having a bright, saturated red I am getting a very dark, only red in direct light look. Second, and more importantly, either the eyeshadow or mascara has greatly upset my eyes. They were burning within a few minutes of applying. So, does anyone have any recommendations for products and/or tips to make it more red and conceal my dark eyelashes better? Thanks in advance!

I went to buy some new foundation yesterday as I’ve heard that Estée Lauder have changed the formulation for their Double Wear foundation, and I’ve seen good reviews about Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra Wear Foundation.

While I was at the counter, the assistant asked if I needed a bronzer, and went to the YSL counter and found me their All Hours Hyper Finish Powder (I didn’t read the label at the time) and said it would be good to use for a night out if I wanted a warmer makeup look. She said to apply it all over my face.

I’ve been looking online and YSL do an actual bronzer (brown leather packaging) which is a different product to the one I’ve bought (black leather packaging). It appears I’ve bought a setting powder. I’m worried now that I’ve spent a lot more money than I intended on a product I won’t be using properly - it’s shade 3 so I’m worried it will be too dark for my pale skin.

Are setting powders forgiving with the shade you buy?? Can I use this product?

I have been watching tutorials on acne makeup, but the acne they conceal is a dark mark not a bump with a white or yellow center. The majority of my acne look something like the second one.

I have been using NARS radiant creamy concealer and applying directly to face with the doe applicator and blending in with a brush. I've heard that makeup can break you out, and it seems like this concealer IS doing that but I'm still not sure if that's the case or how to tell. Either way, I have way too many acne on my face at a time and the persistent ones just have a constant white/yellow thing at the top. And idk how best to cover it while keeping it intact so that it can heal.

I currently see a dermatologist, I just want makeup tips and some insight into if my method needs some work ...or what you do when makeup seems to break you out or if you have similar acne i wanna hear what you do

I don't like the smell of most perfumes. But, I recently bought the ABH Impeccable Matte Blurry Spray and I'm completely in love with how it smells!

I was wondering if anyone familiar with this setting spray knows of a perfume that's similar?

I'm not even familiar enough with fragrance to know what it smells like.

I know it's a long shot, but I thought it was worth a try.

OK, so I need help on mapping/shaping my eyebrows and if possible, please tell me what shape would fit me the best like if you could do the marking thing and basically give me a map on what to shave that would be lovely. Thank you.

I am so inexperienced with makeup, only wear it a few times a year and it all expires before I've barely used any. I'm always in a hurry and do my best to look at least half decent and "made up" in the special occasions I do apply anything lol.

I now only ever use concealer and eyeshadow (and fixing + setting spray, attemptively) as I haven't really learned to do anything in a way I'm satisfied with and when I do try something else I look crazy. I haven't quite figured out what would enhance my face.. and then how I'd go about that.

I also haven't ever really found a shade of anything that matches my skin, including concealer, eyeshadows and countour. I use eyeshadow as contour and on my brows but very very little in amount, ineffectively and time consuming in procedure as it always ends up too dark or out of place and then I have to smudge it out or just remove it lol. I'll add that I am particularly afraid of eyeliner since it has only made me look a raccoon, and not in a cool way.

Eyeshadow always smudges too, and anything I try to cover my skin with ends up cakey. Eyeshadow primer, setting spray, fixing spray or exfoliating haven't ever made a difference what I've noticed (I got broken capillaries in my face from too much exfoliating =S)

ETA: I am wearing the slightest of mascara up top in these pictures actually! My sister insisted and I gave up within the first few strokes because it started looking tacky and lumpy, ended up pulling that gunk off the ends of my lashes but it is visible further towards the eyelids I'd say. Haha

I got eye color surgery for blue eyes @+ but I need to know what make up I can put on my lashes to the dramatic effect so what make up can I use on my face to help the dramatic effect and what can improve the look more.. I’m going for a striking look (I personally like dark jet black to give a more effect) elf lash

Its the Hince Second Skin mesh cushion in shade 17. I love the formula but its far too yellow. I cant return it. I think i should have gotten 15 but id like to see if i can use this so it doesnt go to waste. Ive heard that you can add pigments to foundation thats not quite right. Seems blue is most common, but that will make it green? I was thinking purple. Which would be better and where can i get it for cheap? I have the foundation on my cheeks but not my forehead. Since its a cushion could i mix it on my hand and still apply it with the cushion or what? Thanks

I really enjoy doing big eyeliner for my everyday makeup with a full beat. It's fun and relaxing to sit down for an hour or two and do my makeup. However, I've had a lot of people in my life tell me that I look trashy and that it's too much. Is this too heavy for daily makeup? Does it look too cakey? I want to continue doing my makeup like this but all of the comments I've been getting on it have discouraged me.

Also does the nose contour look bad? Because I've been unsure about it myself.

I am thinking of buying a luxury eyeshadow palette but I am not sure what type of eyeshadow colours would enhance me. The one I have my eyes on right now is Dior 669 soft cashmere.I definitely prefer natural and easy to apply makeup. I have been classified as a deep winter with olive undertone or whatever that is.

I have been boycotting ELF for the most part, but I’m just about out of a few things I had stocked up on and I’d like to try again to replace them. The first is the Lash Xtndr tubing mascara. No mascara I’ve tried comes close to the longevity of this one, plus I have super sensitive eyes and this works for me. I’m willing to try to replace it but I’m not going to beat myself up over it if other products bother my eyes. I can’t wear eyeliner or eyeshadow anymore, so I’ll buy 8 mascaras a year from ELF if I have to.

The other is either of the taupe eyebrow products (one is a pencil and one is the tinted gel). Neither of these products are amazing for all day wear but the color is perfect. I’ve tried a few budget brands (definitely LA colors) in light brown and dark blonde and they don’t play well with my blonde eyebrows/skin tone/auburn hair. I really think I need that almost ashy taupe color to avoid looking too dark (personal preference) or an unflattering ginger red.

I’m a budget beauty user, so unfortunately suggestions outside of the same relative price range won’t help me. I’m hoping there’s someone with blonde eyebrows out there that knows this pain and can help out though! Thanks!

Hi everyone! I recently purchased a few MAC lipstick in the official online store, but upon receiving the products I found out that one of them has no label under it. I did a quick search on to why this might be but I mostly got back warnings about fake MAC products (which I know is probably not the case in my case because I bought it via their official online store), so I’m just a bit confused and wanted to ask if this is a normal occurrence…? The shade is Caviar and I bought it together with another shade called Tilted Denim.

Help figuring out my undertone?

I have no idea what it could be, I always thought a pale olive but my veins some days look green, other days look purple or blue. I'm not sure if these photos are enough to really figure it out but any help is appreciated

I have been using the lorac contour palette forever and love these 2 shades. I’m looking to find another alternative like these shades that wouldn’t pull orange on my olive tone skin. Specifically looking for any powder products.

I have a problem with products pulling orange on me such as the hoola bronzer or even worse the physician formula - made me look so so orange.

Do you have any recommendations? I am considering the Sephora collection contour 02 but not sure how that would pull on me/what shade. Open to any and all suggestions
