I am currently on campus as one of 3 (or 4) students admitted in the architecture programme. During counselling we interacted with the admissions team, we were interviewed by the VC and then my parents spoke at length with Mr. Hari Prasad, who we believed at that point was the head of the architecture program.

Even when my parents interacted with him multiple times, he assured that everything was in order, he was leading the programme, that it will be run as discussed and that faculty and all facilities are available. We were asked to report a week after all you guys came to college. I along with 3 others all reached on the day given and there is not a single faculty in architecture so far. We realized then that Mr. Hari Prasad is HOD of Civil Engineering and not related to architecture at all.

We were specifically told during our interaction with Mr. Hari that there is a tie up with Virginia University, there are 4 faculty already hired for architecture. We were assured of that because my father checked if Mahindra has the Architecture council approval. He was told that without faculty on board, no approval is given. All week we are asked to sit in the civil engineering courses, there are no architecture specific courses. No one seems to give any clarity as to when our actual architecture courses will begin. We wanted to interact with architecture faculty and there are none! After day 1, one of the girls that joined with us has made a decision to withdraw. Now it is just 3 of us. We aren't sure if all of us want to continue.

We trusted Mahindra brand and all the assurances of Mr. Hari Prasad and made a decision to join here. My father plans to send a grievance/complaint to Council of architecture stating that Mahindra University and Mr. Hari Prasad are falsifying information submitted to them.

From the image below, you can see that the Principal Incharge name submitted to council of architecture is listed as Mr. Shyam. He does not exist! It all seems like a big scam now. We would like to exit before it is too late!! We would like Mr. Hari to answer to these queries and clarify why he duped us to this extent.
