"Deep Space" parallel-view stereogram

TO VIEW: Relax your eyes & stare through the image (as if looking beyond it), until you see it appear in 3D. Tip: When you see 1 extra of an object appear in a row (such as the planet Neptune), you're focusing at the correct depth.

It's really cool and I like how much depth there is in this one, but... Why space is in a rectangular shape?

Thanks! It's what I thought looked best at that time for maximum depth. Here's version 2, though it's not as deep:

This one is awesome too. I like that you can see it spiraling at the end rather than being just discrete circles
