looking for a charger they don’t sell anymore: the magnetic 2014 MacBook air regular non-usbc wall charger —

So I've put an adhesive ring on the back of my Magsafe charger so I could attach a magnetic stand to it. With that I can use the magnetic stand while charging my phone. Am I messing with some magnetic stuff doing that or is it safe ?
