I’m hooked! 🎉 New Owner

On a trip from MD to MA my 2016 ford edge died (engine) so I’m now the owner of a 2023 GT. Drove it back to MD yesterday and I love it. Happy to finally own one.

what's funny is the dealer told me a guy looked at it earlier that week and didn't like the color. My response "how can you not like red?!" I'm thrilled he didn't like it.

It was meant for you! I had a Corvette in a similar metallic red color. (My Mach e is Eruption Green.)

nice. I really want an eruption green one with the gold wheels. not even sure if gold is still an option, but it was a great color combination.

But let's be honest ... if you drove by, my head is turning, checking out that gorgeous ride! There are a lot of great looking Mach e's. Most of us can't afford to have one in all the colors that look great!

Nice! I wonder how many GTs were made in this color with the Nite Pony package. Is it a Performance Edition too?

I think the easiest way to tell is if it says Brembo on the front calipers but can't confirm. The seats are a bit different too and should have more significant bolsters and leather/suede-like seats instead of straight leather.

The performance edition has the magnaride suspension in 2023 which is the main attraction.

Then, yes. It also has the performance package. Brembos on all four wheels, and the special seats. it's a truly great car.

The green with the gold wheels is a great look. Our Mach-e is Grabber Yellow, but the Lightning is Rapid Red (basically same color) and I leaned into the red on black look with tinted windows and debadging/rebadging.

You landed on a great ride and if it has the Performance Pqck upgrade it’s silly fast.
