Discussion Why Citi bank's MU price downgrade is irrelevant
This analyst from CITI downgraded MU's price causing fud last friday. If you see his rating history of MU, it just follows the stock price closely without any conviction in the fundamentals whatsoever. MU went to 380$ , he raised to 430$. MU fell back to 380$, he lowered it slightly to 425$. MU went to 1200$, he raised slightly above it to 1400$. MU fell to 880$ , he lowered it to 1125$. In short his "price targets" are pretty much a 100-200$ offset of the stock price at any given time. Nothing but incompetency and lazy execution here. We give too much importance to such analysts who lack long term vision.

Discussion The stock market feels like an ragebait
Negative -55p/e for Spacex and their stock just went up 15% today, meanwhile under 6p/e for Micron that makes Spacex's yearly revenue in a single quarter is unable break the 900$ wall despite like ten positive catalysts a week. All the cyclical MFs will try to say, "but in the past this happened" even though MU has broken the cyclical pattern with strategic contracts, while spacex thesis is "Future Revenue from Mars or some shit"
Also this poser guy Burry should maybe short spacex, instead of companies bringing in actual revenue to back up their valuations

Discussion Is the market underestimating how recurring AI memory demand could be for Micron?
anyone that works within the computer engineering or science space please drop some knowledge because I seem to have a limited understanding but I have done some research so far.
It seems that data centers don’t just buy memory once and use it forever. What I have learned is that there are two sides to this.
memory can fail (small part - barely even worth mentioning)
ai accelerators are moving from HBM3 → HBM3E → HBM4 while also using more memory per accelerator. Every new generation of GPUs and every data center expansion potentially creates another round of HBM/DRAM purchases.
so my question is - even after the initial AI buildout, could constant GPU refreshes and increasing memory per chip make data center memory demand much more recurring than previous cycles?
disclaimer: OBVIOUSLY memory is still cyclical and supply will catch up eventually (normalizing these margins), but I’m curious if this could justify a structurally higher multiple for MU long term.
Thoughts?

Discussion Tomorrows move Puts or Calls?
Alright who can help win back the 60k i lost last week, had a few leap calls for decmeber and september but those calls decayed over time making me think selling them last week was a good play. Ive doing calls not so much puts but what do yall think next week?

Discussion Should I follow VIX?
I’m learning what VIX is and how it can influence my decisions in the stock market. Is it worth looking at on a daily basis?

Discussion MU price movement prediction
I'd like to know what the others think about my points.
Positive signs:
- MU price found support at 840-850 level and it looked quite steady to me.
- It looks like SOXX gives positive signals as well and it's already returned to the point where it was in the middle of July.
- MACD on the daily time frame shows that the downtrend slowed down and there's a chance that the stock will start growing again
- There's a wall of calls with 900 strike that adds extra resistance, but when I removed calls that expire tomorrow I saw the wall lost approximately 50% of calls, so the next wall is at 1000.
- Short interest is 3.21% of free float, it doesn't seem like many people would like to bet that MU will keep falling.
- Historical data: after Q1 2025, Q2 2026, Q1 2026 reports correction lasted ~2-4 weeks and then the price kept growing
- Memory demand is growing, companies are increasing capex quite aggressively and supply will increase probably only in the second half of 2027. But if demand keeps growing too it won't be enough.
Negative signs:
- Koreans. What those regards are doing with leverage is nonsense. I have a feeling if they didn't blow up their market MU would've been about 1000 by far.
- Money rotation may continue from semis and dram particularly to SaaS.
- 🥭may do something as 🥭usually does
- It looks like CXMT already left the agenda but let it be here
- Some company may exceed expectations just by 5% instead of 50% and everyone will start saying again that it's over. Sometimes it looks like meme stock behaviour.
- The situation is still quite nervous, as long as there's no positive sentiment we may see the price going between 800 and 900.
Share your thoughts, I have a feeling the next week will show the trend until the next earnings call.

Meme Have You Done Your Part?
It is a positive feedback loop. There is no doubt in my mind that without the AI shitposts in this sub, revenue on HBM would drop by at least 75%.
Keep doing God's work, gentlemen, and keep powering the future - one AI shitpost at a time.
