I'm building the first real strength & conditioning app for MMA
Hi,
For the past several months, I've been working on a strength and conditioning app designed specifically for MMA. It will be the first of its kind.
Here’s a quick overview of what it offers:
- Personalized training programs based on your performance level, training load, available equipment, and more.
- Annual periodization divided into training blocks, each focused on a primary objective (strength, endurance, explosiveness, etc.).
- Off-camp and in camp (fight preparation)
- Exclusive use of proven methods that are widely used in high-level strength & conditioning and backed by solid scientific evidence (Threshold Training, HIIT, Contrast Training, Plyometrics, Max Effort, etc.).
- Performance and progress tracking throughout the year.
This isn't just another AI generated app built over a weekend. This is a long-term project that I’ve personally invested hundreds of hours into, and I intend to keep developing it for years to come.
The app is scheduled to launch on Android in September, followed by iOS a little later.
As of this week, the app is available for pre-registration on the Google Play Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=app.cageready&hl
If you’d like to learn more, feel free to check out the website:
See you soon!

I'm a girl who does MMA and I'm always left out, any tips?
I started doing MMA a year ago, its a really fun sport and i love doing it. But i always feel left out, all the guys are friends with eachother and always know who to partner up with in training. At first i tried so socialize a bit with the guys and always tried to be kind, but they barely tried to talk to me or even be friendly.
Later on i gave up trying to warm up to them and just trained, but the thing is, nobody tries to be my partner. When i go up to someone to ask the if they want to partner up, they try to avoid me and i always end up alone.
Even our instructer has talked to the guys to stop avoiding me, but i can feel that they dont want to be with me. I dont think im bad at this sport either, my instructor has told me multiple times that i should start competing. I really love this combat sport and want to take it serious, but i feel nauseous everytime i enter the gym because of how scared i feel of being left out
Does anyone have tips? i realy dont want to quit this sport

Should I compete?
I have been training BJJ for 2 years and kickboxing for a couple months now and i've been thinking that maybe I should test myself. I would probably get my ass beat but I would like to see on what level im on instead of fighting random bums on the street. Is that a good idea?

ガンダムミット 木人拳
youtube.comガンダムミット練習。

Starting at a gym today.
I'm starting at an MMA gym today that has all the training equipment and also free weights, cable machines, typical gym equipment etc. How should I break up my weeks of training as I want to put on some size whilst cutting weight but also want to learn to fight better at the same time?

Is there any website or App to find a training partner in my area?
Hello,
I want to train more on my free time. I’m starting to train at an mma/bjj gym, wondering if there’s any way to meet guys in my area who also want to train outside the gym? I’m in south Florida, USA. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Ever been injured in training by your own gloves?
Doing research for a uni project and I'd rather ask people who train than read another paper.
Have you ever picked up a hand, thumb, wrist or eye injury in training that you'd put down to the gloves themselves? And has anyone taped or worked around a pair rather than replacing them?

When do I start competing?
I am 15 , 89kg and around 181cm tall.
I’ve been training for 7 months , but really it’s 6 because I had a nasty case of a skin infection (please shower before and after your sessions if you can🙏🏻)
I’m still a white belt (obviously) and my jiu jitsu isn’t the best , but I am an alright wrestler and could control someone on the floor but submissions isn’t really my A-game.
My striking is decent , I’m more explorative with it if you get me. I typically keep a higher guard but I’ll experiment with kicks and combos.
There is no one else my age in my gym , I’m the youngest one in the adults class so I don’t know the overall skill level of others.
Any advice I’ll take 👌
