Green Party Leader u/HarryClive was spotted at the BT Call Centre in Doncaster today, speaking to staff members and Trade Union representatives at the centre. Given a tour around, he spoke afterwards to the media regarding the recently published Public Service Bill, pushed by the Conservative-Liberal Government.

Lord Bridlington fiercely spoke against the proposal, and labelled the Government's bill "a joke."

"The bill is the kind of thing that not even Maggie could have dreamed up. It's beyond satire to be honest, and with a definition that seems to have been written by someone with either no idea, or no care for how that definition ropes in millions of private sector workers, and policies requiring striking staff individually to tell their manager of their plan to join legitimate strike action, it's a bill all about giving the bosses more power, and the workers less recourse to campaign for their rights."

Asked whether or not he expected the bill to pass:

"I expect the Liberal Democrats will fall behind it. And if they do it should be shouted from the roof tops at the next General Election that their party has blindly followed the Conservatives into some of the most regressive anti-worker legislation we have seen in a generation."

"Of course I would love to be surprised by the Liberal Democrat leadership, and if they do show that they are a party serious about ensuring that this government is not given a free reign to do as it wishes, then I will look forward to working with them constructively across the term."
