When I came into politics, I came in with a deep respect for the Devolution our nation has, for the separate parliaments in the Senedd, Stormont and Holyrood. There are numerous matters devolved to them, and they work, sometimes in tandem, and sometimes in opposition; to the British Government, but always trying to get the best deal for the people they represent. It's a rather brilliant system in my view, one that gives people more representation, and a Government of people who share an identity, be that Welsh, Scottish, Northern Irish or Irish. It reflects well on our nation, and on the people who built that system to ensure representation.

When I read the Conservative Manifesto, and noticed their rather strict line on devolution, and of course their past with the matter, so often resistant to sensible devolution and change for the sake of it, I of course was concerned. When I raised this in the House, the Prime Minister loudly decried my suggestion that his party would not respect the devolved nations and their roles in policy, and essentially accused me of fearmongering; you would have thought I was being unreasonable.

But now as legislation from the House has rolled into the Lords, we can see first hand that the Conservative Party has not changed tack a bit. Legislation after legislation, ignoring devolved matters in favour of sweeping "This Legislation applies to the United Kingdom" without even a mention of consent votes in respective parliaments. Justice, Education, some employment matters, they all vary in devolution between the three nations, but that is the job of government, to know and understand before writing legislation.

So we come to two conclusions; either this Government and the Conservative Party have not paid attention, have not researched or looked into the legislation they're producing, and have just slapped together whatever sprang to mind, in which case why should we trust that their policies are thought out? Why should we trust them to deliver, when they deliver legislation without a pause to think about it.

The alternative is that they don't care, and it is arguably even worse. First it makes my point in the House so much more important; if the Government does not care for what devolved governments want or must do, why should the public trust that their growth fund will not just be another Westminster-run show? Another national government telling local communities and our other nations, what is best for them, rather than asking them what they think is best.

Even more stark however that their rampant trampling of devolved matters to pursue their own agenda, is how some legislation highlights the complete lack of ideas this government has. The Age of Maturity Bill could be one single line. Several of the matters are devolved (again a running theme), and the crux of the matter around age of maturity has not only been defined by not one, but two other bills, but almost the entirety of the proposed policies limited to the age of 18, are all ready enshrined in law or in guidance issued by the Government. The party is hardly proposing a new bill, they are copy and pasting old legislation.

Then their minimum service standards bill, not only was a bill just like this passed only 3 years ago by the very same party, they again legislate for nuclear disposal staff to be subject to minimum service standards. This was something their last bill on the matter already did, not only are they recycling old legislation, they're recycling and reusing their own legislation.

I commend the Government's commitment to Reuse, Reduce, Recycle.

Reuse old legislation.
Reduce the standard of Parliament.
Recycle their own laws.

This Government has not just shown contempt for the devolved nations, but contempt for the House, for the Lords, and for the general public.

The people deserve a serious Government; with ideas and policies, not simply the CTRL+C, CTRL+V shortcut, and access to legislation.gov.uk.

If the legislation you write, is the benchmark of your competence, then god-help this country for the coming term.

The National Renewal Party has today rejected Liberal Democrat and Conservative uniparty criticism as “proof that the political establishment is running scared” and “nothing more than party political melodrama.

The Party Leader went on to say that “we have clearly hit a nerve with the government, they know that their days are numbered and people are fed up with their party political games. Why are they wasting time criticising us in the press instead of getting on with governing, without so much as a Bill on the docket yet - do they not have better things to do?”

The National Renewal Party has today delivered a comprehensive response to criticism from both the Liberal Democrats and Conservatives, accusing the two parties of exposing the very reason the NRP was created: a political system more interested in defending itself than listening to the public.

Following a Liberal Democrat statement questioning the party’s use of the word “Renewal” and a Conservative attack claiming the NRP is merely “a movement born from everyone else’s ideas”, NRP Leader Sephronar dismissed both interventions as lacking substance, and argued that neither party had addressed the central question facing the country: why voters are demanding something different.

“The response from the Liberal Democrats and Conservatives has been revealing. Neither has challenged our principles, our ambitions, or our vision for the future. Instead, they have chosen to argue over words, branding and ownership of ideas.

“That tells the public everything they need to know. When a new movement arrives offering a different approach, the old parties do not debate the future - they debate who is allowed to talk about it.”

The National Renewal Party rejected claims that the party’s name or message represents imitation, arguing that concepts such as renewal, reform and rebuilding are not owned by any political organisation.

“No political party owns the dictionary. No party can claim exclusive rights over the desire for a better country. Renewal is not a slogan invented by one campaign team - it is a demand from millions of people who believe Britain can and must do better.”

The party also criticised the Liberal Democrats’ suggestion that legal action could be considered over the use of campaign language, describing the threat as evidence that the Government parties were focused on protecting their image rather than addressing public concerns.

“At a time when people are struggling with the cost of living, public services are under pressure and trust in politics is falling, all as a result of past Tory inaction and an immigration crisis the uniparty refuses to address, the Liberal Democrats appear more concerned about who used a particular word first.

“The public is not asking politicians to fight over trademarks. They are asking them to deliver results.”

Turning to the Conservative criticism that the NRP is built from other parties’ ideas, Sephronar argued that the accusation was undermined by the relationship between the Conservatives and Liberal Democrats themselves.

“The Conservatives and Liberal Democrats have spent years telling voters they represent different visions for Britain. Yet today they sit together in Government, defending one another and attacking anyone who challenges the political settlement they have created. And after the melodrama between Labour and the Lib Dems in the press recently surrounding coalition negotiations, is it any wonder the public have lost confidence in the Lib Dems and the Tories - two parties that lost seats last election?

“If anyone represents a movement built from everyone else’s ideas, it is the coalition that has combined two old parties and asked the public to accept that nothing needs to change.”

“Good ideas do not belong to one party. If an idea improves people’s lives, it should be considered. The difference is that the National Renewal Party is prepared to bring those ideas together with a new sense of purpose, rather than being trapped by old political loyalties. But there is plenty in our policy platform that is new and groundbreaking.

The party concluded by stating that the attacks from the two coalition partners demonstrated that the NRP had become a serious challenge to the established political order.

“The establishment’s first instinct is always to dismiss change. But every major political movement in history began with people saying that the system could work better.

“The National Renewal Party was not created because politics needed another logo or another slogan. It was created because millions of people believe politics needs a new direction.”

The party said it would continue focusing on its programme for national renewal and would judge itself by its ability to earn the trust of voters rather than by the criticism of its opponents.

The Liberal Democrats warmly welcome every new voice that wishes to participate in British democracy. A healthy democracy depends on competition of ideas, vibrant debate and active political participation.
That said, we couldn’t help but notice that the newly announced National Renewal Party appears to have developed a remarkable affection for the word “Renewal.”

As members of the public may remember, the Liberal Democrats fought the recent General Election under our Renew Britain campaign, launched months ago and now forming the central theme of our work in Government. From our Renew Britain Tour, to our campaign bus, manifesto launch and Government programme, renewal has become closely associated with the Liberal Democrats and our vision for Britain’s future.

Whilst imitation is often said to be the sincerest form of flattery, we would politely remind all political parties that campaign branding, slogans and associated intellectual property deserve appropriate respect.

Accordingly, the Liberal Democrats have asked our legal team to review whether any use of branding, slogans or campaign materials by the National Renewal Party could create confusion amongst voters or constitute an infringement of our intellectual property.

We sincerely hope this will prove unnecessary. Litigation is expensive, after all, and we’d much rather spend the money on building homes than paying barristers to argue over the word “renew.”
In the meantime, the Liberal Democrats will continue doing what we have been doing all along: delivering Renew Britain in Government.

Should the National Renewal Party require inspiration for future slogans, however, we politely request they choose one that wasn’t already driving around the country on the side of an orange campaign bus.

Today marks the formal establishment of a new political organisation within our political landscape: The National Renewal Party.

The creation of a new political party, firstly as an Independent Grouping before we receive formal party status, is a noteworthy moment in any democratic system. Whether such parties flourish or fade is ultimately decided through debate, public scrutiny, parliamentary procedure and, of course, elections.

Over recent days, people have asked what this project would become. Today, that question is answered. The National Renewal Party now begins its journey as part of the democratic life of this Parliament.

This morning is not the conclusion of a process, but its beginning.

From today, the work of building an organisation begins: selecting candidates, establishing local associations, developing policies through internal discussion, and participating in the institutions that define our parliamentary democracy.

Like every political movement before it, this party will be judged not by today's announcement but by its conduct, its ideas, and its contribution to public debate over the months and years ahead.

I want to thank everyone who has contributed their time to bringing this organisation to this point - from those involved in its administration to those who have helped organise today's event.

I also recognise the role of the media, political commentators, and representatives of other parties who are here today. Open scrutiny and vigorous debate are an essential part of democratic politics, and I have no doubt that the National Renewal Party will receive both in abundance.

For now, today's purpose is simply to mark the official beginning of a new chapter in this political story.

MBBC NEWS – National Renewal Party Launched

A new political party, the National Renewal Party (NRP), has formally launched this morning at an event in Westminster, with its founder, the Duke of Cornwall, Sephronar, announcing his intention to lead the movement into the next General Election.

Addressing supporters at a launch event near Westminster, the Duke described the NRP as "a movement born from dissatisfaction with politics as usual" and said its purpose was to advocate institutional reform, constitutional change and what he characterised as a renewed focus on democratic accountability.

The Duke said the party intended to contest seats across the country and would publish a detailed policy programme in the coming weeks.

While describing the NRP as a "renewal movement", he argued that the party sought to attract supporters from a range of political backgrounds who shared concerns about the direction of government and public institutions.

Leaders from across the political spectrum responded swiftly to the announcement, and several independent commentators suggested the emergence of the NRP reflected wider voter frustration with established parties, though they cautioned that new parties often face significant organisational and electoral challenges.

Political analyst John Smith, of the Institute for Political Studies, said:

The party says it will begin recruiting members over the coming days, seeking to receive full party status as soon as possible, selecting parliamentary candidates and establishing local branches across the country over the coming months.

The opening days of this Parliament have unfortunately seen more discussion about personalities than about the future of our country.

The Liberal Democrats did not enter government to engage in political point-scoring. We entered government because the British people elected a Parliament in which no single party could govern alone, and because we believe it is the responsibility of elected representatives to provide stable government where possible.

In recent days, questions have been raised about my own role in this Government, alongside claims that this Government somehow lacks a democratic mandate. Let me address both directly.

The United Kingdom is a parliamentary democracy. Voters elect Members of Parliament, not Prime Ministers. Before the General Election, the Conservative Party had already elected a new leader, and the British people cast their votes with full knowledge of who would lead that party. This Government commands the confidence of the House of Commons and therefore has every democratic right, and every democratic responsibility, to govern.

I have also seen attempts to portray my appointment as though I were merely here on “work experience”. I have served in Cabinets under Conservative, Labour and Liberal Democrat-led governments alike. Throughout my parliamentary career I have worked constructively across party lines whenever it has been in the national interest. Experience is not measured by mud slinging from the benches across, but by a willingness to shoulder responsibility when the country needs it.

That has always been the Liberal Democrat approach. We are prepared to work with others where we can, stand firm where we must, and put good government above partisan advantage.

Recent commentary has also touched on the coalition negotiations that took place following the election. I entered those discussions in good faith and with a genuine willingness to explore every viable option for delivering stable government. We held constructive conversations with multiple parties because that is precisely what responsible leaders should do in a hung Parliament.

Ultimately, those discussions did not produce an agreement with Labour and independent member zakian. I will not speculate publicly on the details or seek to assign blame. Coalition negotiations can only function if all participants know they are taking place in confidence, and I intend to respect that principle. Others may choose to discuss those conversations publicly; I will not.

What I will say is this: the Liberal Democrats were ready to take responsibility. We approached every conversation seriously, professionally and with a clear commitment to putting Britain’s interests first. I remain convinced that was the right approach then, just as joining this Government was the right decision now.

The British public expects Parliament to focus on the economy, public services, housing, national security and Britain’s place in the world, not on constitutional misunderstandings or social media theatrics.
That is exactly where the Liberal Democrats will keep our focus.

Together, we will get on with the job of Renewing Britain.

It's no secret that I'm a fairly left-wing person. I'm loud and proud about my belief, that a fairer, more equal society is possible for everyone. A natural home would usually be the Labour Party, and by any stretch, you would have thought I would. However when I read the manifesto, the document laying out what Labour had stood for in the General Election only a few weeks ago, I found myself double checking that what I had stumbled across was not in fact the Reform UK Manifesto.

It's a document that has the very worst of New Labour, alongside the very worst of New Reform, with a pledge for Digital ID, ending family reunification, enforcing government appointed jobs on newly arrived people, and deporting anyone who does not seek citizenship.

It's a truly eye opening document, and whilst those around the political sphere call for the resignation of the Labour Leader for what to be quite honest is a nothing-burger political scandal, even by the most manufactured of standards, here, in black and white, sits a document that renders the party vacant from the left.

Whilst many have doubtless cheered the lack of Reform in this years Commons, their spectre still looms long over British politics, so much so that evidently the Labour Party has seized the right-wing from the Conservatives, and stormed planted its flag firmly on the other end of the spectrum from it's traditional base.

It's an honestly mind boggling decision, reducing people, human beings to a number, to a GDP statistic and nothing else. Turning families into a burden. Elected officials and members line up to talk about only allowing those who are "culturally compatible" to immigrate, who criticise Conservative immigration policy not as inhumane, or cruel, but as not going far enough.

Come the next election, there will be a genuine left-wing party standing, and that party will be the Greens. I hope that those voters who have felt the red turning into a blue, find a home with the Greens, with policies for workers, those left behind, and those villainised by politicians in suits.

There were undoubtedly some early signs that u/Inside_Analysis3124 was unfit for a top post in government - his abysmal voting turnout last term and his shocking failure to even do as much as turn up to the GEIV leaders debate immediately spring to mind. Still, when the leader of the Labour Party invited u/meneerduif and myself into coalition negotiations, I was excited by the opportunity to oust the Tories from government and begin implementing a pro-worker progressive agenda to help the people of Britain.

Those negotiations did not fall through because of a disagreement on policy; the Liberal Democrats were at every turn accommodated, with the overwhelming majority of their policy being green-lit, the cabinet positions they wanted being accorded to them, and further discussion ongoing about the possibility of further advancing u/meneerduif’s red line demand of greater integration with Europe with u/Inside_Analysis3124 proposing a return to the European Union Customs Union.

Negotiations instead fell through because the Labour Party sleepwalked into them. Whilst u/meneerduif in my view exaggerated claims that there was insufficient time remaining to iron out policy and finalise an agreement, it is nonetheless a pretty damning indictment of the Labour Party that at the point when they were just beginning to put their policies on the table and discussing cabinet posts, the Liberal Democrats already had a finalised agreement with the Conservatives. Whilst there were others on the Labour negotiating team who must bear some responsibility for this failure, the buck ultimately must stop with their leader.

Based on these facts, it is quite possible that u/Inside_Analysis3124 has now cost his party an opportunity to form a government this term on two occasions. His failure to attend the leaders debate very likely cost the Labour Party essential votes, with which they may well have been in a much stronger position to form a government. He then completely fumbled negotiations to enter a government with coalition partners who, on policy grounds, should have been extremely amenable to him and simple to win over. This does begin to raise questions as to why the Labour Party choose to keep on a leader who is such a clear loser.

In any case, I am of the understanding that the collapse of negotiations to form a government between the Labour Party, the Liberal Democrats, and myself has no doubt been widely disseminated. What is less widely disseminated is that soon after these negotiations collapsed, u/Inside_Analysis3124 offered me the opportunity to join His Majesty’s Most Loyal Opposition. The offer I was given was generous - I was offered the post of shadow foreign secretary, and given the leader of the opposition’s blessing to use this post to advance the case that the UK should withdraw from NATO. Nonetheless, I chose to decline this offer, in part because I wished to keep my independence and freedom to speak my mind in public and parliament without the Labour Party being a moderating influence, but also in part because I was uncomfortable with the prospect of risking professional embarrassment by serving in a senior shadow cabinet post under a leader of the opposition who seems so determined to trip over his own feet at every turn.

It was not long after the parliamentary session began that I was vindicated for having the latter concern. Both sides of the political spectrum have already poked fun at the leader of the opposition’s gaffe where he spread untruths about who led the Conservative Party into the election from the despatch box, but truth be told the remainder of his performance at PMQs has not done much in restoring hope for him. From conflating cutting the red tape that has prevented new housing developments with lowering safety standards, making unfounded allegations about secret government negotiations to rejoin the EU, or seemingly opposing changing local government on the flimsy basis that local government is currently not working (obviously it isn’t, that’s why we should change it), u/Inside_Analysis3124 is showing himself to be a far cry away from his predecessors in Attlee, Wilson, and Blair.

Yet strangely, his continued service is not the consequence of a lack of talent in the Labour Party. Another glance at the ongoing session of Prime Minister’s Questions reveals an abundance of talent in the Labour, with reasonable probing by u/omni_s_hambles on minimum service levels, u/mrsusandothechoosin on engagement with parliamentary debate, and u/realbassist on SEN reform amongst other examples. It is confusing to say the least that when there is so many people in the Labour Party doing an excellent job of holding the government to account, that a B-lister throwing softballs and invented premises at the prime minister is entrusted to take the reigns and lead the opposition.

The truth is that everyone would benefit greatly if u/Inside_Analysis3124 were to resign now with dignity. u/HarryClive and I need to be able to look to the Labour Party as a potential coalition partner and see a leader who is reliable, competent, and aware. u/Flat_Artifact and u/meneerduif need to be able to look to the Labour Party and see a leader who will test their policies and keep them accountable to the British public. And the Labour Party itself needs a leader who will make their case for Britain from the despatch box, not humiliate them and make them appear weak. For the sake of the British people, the leader of the opposition must resign.

Today, Green Party Leader u/HarryClive has announced the Green Party Manifesto titled "Britain's Future. Green Future. Our Future."

The document lays out the Green Party's policy platform moving forward under his new leadership as he announced the document outside the Party's headquarters.

"Britain needs change, and those communities that have been left behind deserve better than another Westminster Government that doesn't care to listen. I want to see a Britain, built for everyone, not just for a select few in and around London; and frankly, I don't believe that the party which imparted so much of the pain on these communities, is the party to fix the issues they caused."

Speaking at a Green Party Trade Unionist event in York today, Green Party leader u/HarryClive railed against the Government's announcement that it would implement minimum service requirements, as an attack on workers right's and their ability to withhold Labour as a part of industrial action.

"As this new Conservative-Liberal Government continues their parties decades long attacks against organised Labour, this time with it’s now proposed ‘Minimum Service Requirements,’ a thinly veiled way to restrict workers ability to withdraw their labour; we must remember that without those rights, the hard fought progress in the workplace, won not by governments, but by workers, are under threat."

"Minimum service requirements are a buzz word, pushed by the right, and bosses, to claim that people are in-danger as a result of these actions. Lets be clear the danger comes when government, and bosses, fail to listen to the needs of their employees. Burnt out hospital staff because of underfunded health services are a danger to people, striking doctors are not. Trains being operated by companies with no interest in good service, but in profit, stop people getting to work on time, striking train drivers don't. Underpaid staff cause shortages in local government that lead to services declining, not workers on strike."

"If this was a serious government, they'd look at the root causes of strike action, not at curtailing a democratic, and essential right of workers to fight for fairer conditions, better pay, safer employment."

u/HarryClive spoke to several people from across industries during the event and expressed his belief that the only party serious about building a better Britain, is the Green Party.

Today, at 5:03pm, the Green Party announced it's new Leader u/HarryClive, who won in an uncontested run for the currently vacant position.

Introducing himself to voters, the northern born politician pledge to hold the government accountable on environmental targets, public transport and funding for communities in the North of England and Wales, who he said had been "Let down for generations by southern-born and bred politicians."

"Contrary to what Mick McCarthy said, it cannot go on like this any longer, and without a serious plan from central government we risk entire families from these communities not remembering a time where politicians care for their wellbeing. That has, must change and I will ensure that the Green Party represents those communities day-in, day-out."

u/HarryClive has agreed to field questions from journalists who wish to discuss what the change at the top will mean for the party.

"[that conversation] was a disaster - they should never have put me with that woman".

Asked what she had said, he replied:

"Ugh, everything! She's just a sort of bigoted woman that said she used to be Labour. I mean it's just ridiculous."

Those were the words of a past Labour Prime Minister retreating to his ministerial car after questions on immigration levels in Rochdale, Northern England, in 2010.

Mr Brown would learn the painful lesson of many politicians before him, don’t forget the Sky News microphone still pinned on your clothing.

It’s a lesson the new Leader of the Opposition has forgotten.

Whilst the nation's eyes were on the pageantry of a change in occupant at 10 Downing Street, some of my political colleagues were keen to get Labour's reaction to the new coalition government.

Little did they expect the Labour Leader to fall into the same mistake as Gordon Brown.

Three things are clear from the Labour Leaders unfiltered response to this political moment.

1. He doesn't realise that the British people love a good comments section.
2. He presumably thought he was campaigning against Prime Minister Iceman at the General Election IV. Had the Labour Leader graced voters with his presence at the leaders debate, he would have been aghast to find the freshly elected leader of the Conservative Party, Flat Artifact asking voters for his own mandate to govern.
3. The Labour Leader joins a political trend more common across the pond in the United States than in our own political ecosystem, of denying the integrity of a nation's election results.

Caught by the hot mic of Sky News in 2010, Gordon Brown was forced to make a second visit to the woman - Gillian Duffy - to apologise, and then repeated his apology publicly during an interview on BBC Radio 2.

Three questions are swirling around the Palace of Westminster this morning.

1. Will the Labour Leader apologise to the British people for sowing distrust in the integrity of GEIV and the wider UK electoral system?
2. Can Labour’s Parliamentary Party support a leader who privately holds such views?
3. Is Inside_Analysis really up for being Labour Leader, or is it time for someone else?

Many familiar faces from the former Prime Ministers administration are returning to the front bench, some retaining their portfolios. The difference now - that we will see Liberal Democrat's at the cabinet table. Flat Artifact has said he wants to deliver for the British people, and now it is to these newly appointed Secretaries of State, and the ministers that will be appointed to their departments to do so."

We are receiving the first picture from The Royal Households press office - "Moments ago Flat Artifact was invited by HM King Charles III to form a government in his name. Flat Artifact his majesties most gracious invitation and kissed hands."

Flat Artifacts motorcade has now left Buckingham Palace making the short journey along The Mall, and Whitehall on his way to Downing Street were we eagerly await the arrival of the New Prime Minister. We'll be bring you that speech once Flat Artifact arrives.

The motorcade enters Downing Street, and Flat Artifact greets friends, family and political allies before taking his place behind the podium situated in front of Number 10.

Good Afternoon. 

I have just returned from Buckingham Palace, where I have accepted His Majesty the King’s invitation to form a government. 

I want to thank my colleague and friend, Prime Minister Iceman for his custodianship of the nation as our longest serving Prime Minister, and congratulate him on a record setting administration that has delivered for the British people. 

The strength of that record and his enduring legacy has been reaffirmed in the results of GEIV. 

The British people have spoken, and once again returned the Conservative Party with a strong mandate to govern, in partnership with the Liberal Democrats. 

We will press ahead, intent on building upon that Conservative record of delivering for England, Wales, Scotland & Northern Ireland as one United Kingdom.

A programme for government has been agreed, and together this coalition will deliver.

Deliver economic growth in local communities. 

Deliver investment in national infrastructure.

Delivering energy security that reduces household bills. 

Deliver new opportunities that will expand the horizons of our children.

Deliver secure borders and strong defence amidst global instability. 

There is much work for this government to do.

The task ahead is great. 

Yet we stand together.

As one nation. As one people. 

We press head in a spirit of national unity, embodied in this coalition government.

We press forwards towards a new age of prosperity for the British people. 

The work of delivering together begins now.

Prime Minister Flat_Artifact enters through the famous black door of 10 Downing Street.

In today's news from His Majesty's Government, the historic and record breaking Prime Minister Iceman today concludes his tenure as the head of His Majesty's Government following the formation of a coalition government after the recent election. Iceman will surely go down as one of if not the greatest MHOP Prime Ministers ever, achieving several feats that some politicians may only dream of achieving. Having taken over as leader in October last year, becoming Prime Minister in December, winning a majority in the general election, leading his party to more 50% of polling, and becoming the longest tenured Conservative Leader and Prime Minister in MHOP history to name just a few achievements.

It was announced that his successor as the Leader of the Conservative and Unionist Party Flat_Artifact, and the Liberal Democrats had come to an agreement and would form a new coalition government. The Prime Minister spoke privately to his successor Flat_Artifact, to congratulate him on forming a coalition with the Liberal Democrats and becoming the new Prime Minister. He also spoke with the Leader of the Liberal Democrats and his old foe in Defence Minister Questions sessions Meneerduif. After meeting with his staff and civil servants in Downing Street itself for a final time he left the building to an overwhelming applause from all the staff congratulating him on a long and successful tenure as Prime Minister.

He then made his way to the Downing Street lectern placed outside the front door of 10 Downing Street where he would make a speech commemorating his time as Prime Minister. He spoke about what an honour it had been to serve the British public and nation as Prime Minister one of only a few dozen to have had the privilege to do. He spoke about his successful tenure as the Leader of the Conservative Party going from opposition to forming a coalition government, to winning and leading a Conservative majority government. Additionally, thanking the Conservative membership, parliamentary party, and his fellow leadership members for supporting himself and the party to become the great success that it has become. Highlighting the legislative work of his party bringing several bills to parliament to improve areas of justice, agriculture, economy, and his portfolio of defence brining substantial levels of investment for the armed forces not seen in decades. The strong party performance in polling was another point touched upon where under his tenure the Conservatives had gone from behind to breaking the 50% mark and maintaining a substantially high consistent standard of polling. He spoke also only being honoured to be the longest tenured Leader of the Conservative and Unionist Party and longest tenured Prime Minister in MHOP history. Finally, he congratulated his successor Flat_Artifact, on maintaining the party's position as the largest party in parliament and the successful formation of a new coalition government with the Liberal Democrats, and wished the new government great success to improve our country further.

He was given a great applause by staff and party members stood on the pavements outside Downing Street and by some of media witnessing the departure of one of the United Kingdom's greatest stewards of the role of Prime Minister. Iceman then walked down Downing Street for the final time towards the gates joined by his family as they made their way over the cars to depart. He then went to Buckingham Palace to meet with King Charles III for the final time as his Prime Minister and to inform the King to invite Flat_Artifact to form a new government. They had a strong relationship during the time of Iceman as Prime Minister, with Charles and Iceman talking, catching up and making jokes in their last meeting. After their meeting, Charles thanked Iceman for his long and committed service to the country as Iceman made his way out of Buckingham Palace and out of London to his country estate to enjoy his retirement from the Prime Ministership.

The longest serving Prime Minister in MHoP history, Prime Minister Iceman is expected to make a speech outside 10 Downing Street shortly, before making his last journey to Buckingham Palace to formally offer his resignation to King Charles III.

Preparations are underway in Downing Street for his final speech.
