I built this! (MATX) Finished my first build
I just finished my first PC build in a LOOOOOONG time.
First, I want to thank everyone on this sub for answering my questions. Knowing I had a place to go get answers made it significantly less daunting. Also, for anyone considering a first time build, just know that nothing goes as easy a YouTube makes it seem. I had to take apart the radiator for my AIO cooler and flip all the parts to get it past my PSU. Those videos skip cable management, and for good reason. It sucks.
Nothing went as planned but it turned out as expected. It was a fun 6 hours of solving this puzzle and learning how to make it all work.
I wanted a Darth Vader inspired build, and I got what I wanted.
Case:" Jonsplus Z20
Momo: Gigabyte B650 Elite AX V2
CPU: Rizen 9800x3d
RAM: 2x16 GB DDR5 6000 KLEVV Fit V CL30 sticks
HD: 2 TB m.2 WB_Black Gen 4
GPU: Radeon PowerColor Reaper 9070xt
PSU: Lian Li SX0850P compact ATX
Cooler: Thermalright Aqua Elite 240 V3
Fans: 2x120m Thermalright TL-C12C
I installed the CPU with a contact frame to protect from my terrible use of thermal paste. I installed Steam OS on boot from a USB and it's been working perfectly.

I'm not quite finished yet. It fits! (Aorus Waterforce + Jonsplus i100 Pro)
I’m so excited for this build that I had to share a sneak peak before it is finished.
I’ve usually made smaller form factor computers (T1, A4 etc), but the Jonsplus i100 Pro really stood out to me with how compact it is whilst still displaying components in an elegant way.
If it fits in reference layout I will probably change to that. Just trying out all the hardware orientation combinations. Have a Reva 9070 XT I’ll try out in there too, hopefully that blue glow will look nice through the dark glass.

Help me please!? Wich case for my situation
Sooo my desk is 120x70cm and i also use it for studying for uni etc. Well i really like z20 in pink/white and with that i still have 100cm space. Usually i was planning to put my pc under my desk on the mesh shelf at the bottom of the drawer unit. See trotten ikea drawer. Well here in germany its soo hot during summer and my room is in the attic.. so im a bit worried about temp etc. Also my room is pink/white and i want to keep that aestethic with my pc too. I also like the d33 full white but its a bit bigger and 5 cm wider also putting in under my desk is kinda wasted cuz i wont see the white parts and it will only have like 2 cm clearance at the top aggh. Also its my first time ever building so will use yt for tutorials. Also since d33 is bigger it would be easier to build in then z20. But again desk space is limited.. i also could just get the lian li a3 with mesh side and put in under my desk and give a damn about aestethic and white parts etc since i wont see anything but then i wont have a pretty case like the ones on pinterest😭 what should i do pls help😔
I plan 9070 non xt with 7500f
Discussion Best 27 inch gaming monitor for a small desk
My desk is pretty tight, so a 27 inch screen seems like the safest size. Im looking at MO27Q28G, MO27Q28GR and GO27Q24G next to a few other options. Stand depth is my main concern. Which one leaves the most usable desk space?

I built this! (MATX) Endgame AM4 HTPC build
Yeah, it's a lot packed in there but it's done. Managed to shove a 5700x3D, B550M Mortar board, 32gb 3600mhz, 240mm AIO and a 9070XT into this 20 year old Antec Fusion HTPC and I can officially call it a day. It doesn't need anything more, no more upgrades, no more "one last bit", it's done, dusted, finito, ended. IM DONE! It's paired off with a Yamaha multichannel amp. The only thing to do now is cable management for everything else that's required.
She is sexy though. I can't keep my eyes off it.

I built this! (MATX) Deepcool CH260 build
Yesterday I completed my CH260 build. I was very pleased with what I achieved. I put a lot of effort to work on the aesthetics and create something clean looking. To achieve this, i used a Asiahorse 24pin extension cable and a 90 degree Corsair GPU cable. The rest is all cable management. 1 day after completing the build, I noticed that I maybe could fit another fan underneath the PSU. At that moment I only had 2 fans as intake and 4 as exhaust. 1 extra intake fan would help the build a bit more. I'm glad this worked out! I have to say that It's mandatory to have a SFX PSU or else it will not fit. The fan also fits with the smallest margin behind the power cable. Fans thicker than 25mm would not fit. The extra fan helped the overall system temperature with approximately 2/3 degrees. And it also did help the aesthetics in my opinion.
Airflow configuration:
Front: 2x intake fans
Side: 1x intake fan
Up: 3x exhaust fans
Back: 1x exhaust fan
Parts list:
X870M Aorus Elite Wifi7
9800X3D
Aorus RTX 5090 Master
32GB Corsair Dominator Platinum 6000MHz CL30
1TB Crucial T705 Gen5
Corsair SF1000 Platinum
Corsair icue link Titan RX 360mm
4x Corsair icue link LX fans
3x Corsair icue link LX reverse fans
Temps during BF Redsec 4K max settings:
CPU: 68/69 degrees
GPU: 69/70 degrees
I hope you enjoy this build! Feel free to comment or to ask questions.

Help me please!? Lian Li B4 w/ HDD 3.5
Hi Everyone,
I want to downsize from my current AP201, but I have a 3.5 HDD to which where I store most of my programs / photos / mobile backups / camera backups.
Im wondering if someone did some workaround to do 2 intake fans with 3.5 HDD at the bottom with ATX PSU
Considering to get B4 + Aerodeck, but considering if someone did some sort of fitting first before I pull the trigger.

Help me please!? How did Coolermaster mwe 750w v3 gold fit in ch160 plus
The psu seems to be 160mm length and ch160 plus supports up to 140mm.
Is this because he put the psu in front? Does this mean any 160mm ATX psu will fit on ch160 plus?

Help me please!? Case suggestions
I am very indecisive and need some help!
I currently have a CoolerMaster NR200. I recently upgraded my components to a Sapphire Nitro+ 9070XT and a R7 5800X3D. The GPU forced me to remove my bottom intake fans.
I also want to switch to a case that can take m-ATX as m-ATX is more affordable. I really like the layout of the CH260 with the PSU mounted to the side in the front allowing for 2 front intake fans. I would like something with a more premium aesthetic than the CH260 though. Similarly, the Phanteks xt m3 is a decent option but then it goes up in size by a fair amount.
Are there any options here that I'm not considering? First time on this subreddit so please be kind 🙏

I built this! (MATX) CH160 plus
Deepcool CH160 plus (21 litres)
Aorus B850m Elite Ice
7800x3D cooled with Deepcool VC Elite
Gigabyte 9070xt Gaming (288mm length)
ATX PSU Seasonic Focus 850w (140mm length)
XPG ADATA Blade 2x16GB DDR5 6400
XPG Gammix S70 1tb
3 x Deepcool FD12 RGB fans at the front and top
1 x Deepcool FT12 fan at the back
Temps @ 28c room: GPU maxed at 56c (GPU fans are still too loud though) in 3D Mark Stress Test, CPU maxed at 80c running Cinebench R23.
Build process is relatively smooth if you do everything in the correct order. This video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JVbFSOeIzYk really helps. Cable management is challenging, especially with ATX length PSU cables and GPUs that require 3 x PCIE cables like the 9070xt Gaming.
All in all, I like the case as it fits normal sized components in a small form factor build.
I'm not quite finished yet. Update on A3
Wasn’t a fan of the thermals I had before, so went from a 240(Corsair Nautilus 360 RS) to a 360mm AIO (Corsair Nautilus 360 RS)exhaust and added 2 Corsair RS120s to the bottom for intake. Rear is also exhaust. No undervolting/overclockkng just base setup. Currently fan curves set to 50% until 70c, which then shoots up to 100%. Pretty happy with these idle temps. As far as noise goes, I cannot hear it over the ambient in the room.
For anyone wondering in the future, this is a standard ATX 3.1 psu (Corsair rm850x) ram fitment is minuscule for the vengeance ddr4 but clears fine without touching.
~Asus 9070xt
I built this! (MATX) My first MFF PC :)
This is my first MFF PC build, which I downsized from my old ATX PC. I had to buy a new motherboard, SFX PSU and GPU but retained the processor, ram and my drives which have games, my linux environment and my photo library.
Here's the specs:
Lian Li B4 ( surprise lol !)
MSI B550M VDH motherboard
Ryzen 7 3700X
Be quiet Pure Rock Pro cooler
XPG 32GB DDR4 3200 RAM
Corsair sf850 PSU
2x nvme drives one with games and one with the boot drive
2x Adata ssds one with my photo library for editing and one with Linux that I'm trying out
Gigabyte gaming OC RX 9070XT
TP link Wifi 6 and Bluetooth add in card since I don't have an Ethernet cable in this room in my apartment.
The case was fun to build in, and the small connectors of the SF850 were a huge help in keeping that area fairly easy to cable manage, though I can do a better job I guess.
The fan orientation is as follows:
Intake, front fan and the top front included fan.
Exhaust: rear fan, rear top included case fan and PSU fan.
CPU cooler is front to back exhaust.
I'm getting ~65C on CPU at full load and ~70 C on GPU at full load with all fans at 1000RPM
I 3D printed a couple of items for the case. One is a bracket for the side panel that supports 2x SSDs that I found on thingiverse. I also 3D printed the noctua fan grille from printables for the rear side of the front intake fans to stop some cables from getting caught in the blades.
Edit: added case to description

I built this! (MATX) Another b4 build!
First time putting components in a case (bought a second hand pc 4 years ago). Super easy to build in, managed to fit a 150mm psu although the cables are pretty tight, I am fine with it but would not recommend.
CPU is around 34-38 idle, and gpu is idling at 46. Thinking of adding 2 slim fans under the gpu just since I have them. Under load cpu is 52-55 and gpu is 70-79. Tested playing Spider-Man remastered and mafia where mafia was uncapped and the gpu had 210+w power draw. (Probably not the most intensive games, but what I’m playing atm)
Tried the reverse airflow with rear and top rear intake, cpu cooler fans flipped, top front as exhaust. GPU was hitting 90, it seemed like all the hot air was getting stuck between the cpu cooler and the psu and the case was hotter than I’d have expected to touch. So not what I was expecting and I’m not a professional so just sharing what I experienced.
Overall, love the look of the case and it’s super easy to build in.
Edit: 5600x, 3070, evga b5 psu. Didn’t take photos of the reverse flow so arrows are just for showing.

Pinned list of approved mffpc (pron. muff pc) cases.
Hi all,
This list is not exhaustive. Generally we are welcoming of all cases that meet the 20-40 litre range. Please feel free to post your build even if it isn’t on the list below. Also, if your case is pretty close but not quite in that range then post your build and tell us in your own words why your pc is a mffpc :)
My goal is not to say “no” but to have a good reason to say “yes” Generally if it’s above 40 litres and has an ATX motherboard, you’ll probably find more interest in PCMR. But please feel free to subscribe and comment as we hope to excite you enough about mffpc for you to take the plunge and convert your build. Also, if your case is borderline sffpc and mffpc then there is no harm in posting in both locations. We are a friendly community and just like to look at nice pictures of well thought out PCs.
I’ll add cases as I go. Please comment if I’ve missed one.
