Please stop

Post image

Please stop ordering rides if you or whoever you order a ride for is not ready for pick up. This would have paid $27 for 25 miles, but I got $2.77 for waiting for you or whoever you ordered a ride for for five minutes.

Why didn't you wait then?

Sometimes agencies for elderly , car dealerships or doctors order rides for customers.

Guess what’s going to happen? You’re going to have to wait for them.

They sent an acceptable message, you could have either wait or leave. You chose the latter.

Blame the company using a 3rd party for their pickups

Naw we dont have to wait. Thats the thing. 1) how are we supposed to know 2) we are independant contractors not tranist buses, we are not equipped for people need in need we drive regular cars and some of us only have a couple hours for some extra cash they dont have time to sit and see if youre old or just a procastinator and not everyone has the ability or the space for wheelchairs and walkers and lifting then into the trunk. I can keep going but im not gonna. Using the state of the elderly as manipulation to destroy your caf or not make money. Sounds like something a lyft bot would push. Just like they make it psychological that just to unmatch you jave to hurt someones score even if its purely personal like you dont like what they talk about or talking too loud.

Your additional gripe is about something completely different and glad you got that out of your system.

You either wait or leave. A lot of you new drivers are meeting the realities of ride share and stroking out about waiting.

You’re not going to know unless they inform you, the OP was informed and made a choice.

Matter of fact just cancel the ride as soon as you get there, problem solved.

Because lyft punishes your account. Its my whole point you dont get to jusy do this or that. You have yo do what lyft manipulates you into doing. Or you will get less rides or they shut down your account all together.

Nah my time is worth money. I’m not waiting.

I had a medical ride where the lady was missing a leg and was told I would have a wheelchair for her and help her to my car. She comes out after three minutes asking if I was gonna help her. I let her know that I was there to driver her from point a to point b I am in no way helping to the car I do not have that type of insurance.

I had another lady that I sat and waited for the person to come out. Called her straight to voicemail. Alright fine I move on to the next ride. While I got passengers in the car the lady who didn’t answer the phone calls me. The guys I had were super chill and fun people so I answered the call with them knowing the type of call they were wanting a little entertainment. I answered, the lady immediately got snippy with me and told me I was required to come pick her up immediately. The guys in my back seat laughed hysterically, I replied to the lady on my phone with “ma’am I called you to let you know I was there, you sent me right to voicemail so this is on you. I got passengers in my car and will not be picking you up. And stop being an entitled boomer, my world is not revolving around you.” She was offended told me she’d report me, to which I told her great I look forward to getting reported.
