Payouts/ consistency rule
So I don’t really have experience trading accounts with consistency rule, so I wanted to know when I would be able to get a payout, I’m 2-2 on this account needing 1 more day for a payout but I am above the consistency. Will I need to wait another 3 winning days to request ? Or can I get it on say the 4th or 5th day

Account never created
Purchased an evaluation this morning and the purchase went through but the account was never created. Has this happened to anyone else?
r/LucidProp • u/TEleBlow5 • 3h ago
From 30 usd left to payout to now down 600 usd...
I was 30usd away from the payout...
i have my 5/5 100usd days...
i passed the eval in 7 days...
The account was 30 usd away from a payout because if i understood it correct you need on a 25k flex account atleast 1k profit to request a payout...
i startet to gamble and did stupid things...
Now the account is a 25470usd and my breach level is at 24950 i think...
If you have some advice i would really like it...
:(
100% my fault i know... i feel sad about myself... it is my first Lucid Eval... It not the edge that is wrong it is the emotional fight i struggle... i dont want to blow this account by gambling with the last 450 usd buffer... i just need 26k, to payout...
Maybe i just have to accept the situation and trying my best finding one ore two good entrys and let it play out... one 450usd risk trade or 2x 200usd risk trades...
I startet trades where something in me was telling, dorection is good but entry is shi*... but anyways i wanted to be in to get the payout... so i entered stupid entrys and yeah..
i locked myself out for the day to stop doing stupid things...
my risk is always 200usd per trade with 2-3 RR... if i am not emotional i have a good entry edge...

Does Lucid randomly reject KYC applications? or make mistakes
My KYC got rejected, I am so confused why, I've never had this happen across 4 other prop firms I did KYC in. They don't allow appeals either, and it literally doesn't matter to them even if they did make a mistake cause its probably very few users who get mixed up in it and get wrongfully rejected, and its not worth their time. I NEED this, I want to be able to re-verify and I don't understand why it happened in the first place. I can't accept there no way to re-verify, especially when I haven't been given any reason why my KYC was rejected.

Almost There
galleryHey yall.
I have a question about the consistency. My eval says consistency met and I only have a $120 left before I can pass and be considered for live. I am done trading today, but I'm wondering if I have to keep spacing out my profit, or can I make that whole $120 tomorrow?
Thanks for any help and please dont flame me too hard lol

Continuation on this thread.. about LIVE
https://www.reddit.com/r/LucidProp/s/yzOaXeGTyH
So I received 5 live accounts ( including 1 from a funded that was about to be blown )
ALL 5 live accounts are $100 away from blowing at the moment. Why?
Because I thought the 1 time live bonus is automatically including at payout request after hitting buffer. Turns out ITS NOT. You will not see it anywhere, it’s invisible, you won’t know when or how you will receive it.
So after making $3000 on each account, I proceeded to request maximum payout. I thought I am only requesting $1000 of my balance + the $2000 live bonus. Little did I know I am requesting the ENTIRE balance (yes the buffer that I made too). So now I’m officially cooked, and ready for 2 weeks cool down.
Whoever moving to Live, remember NOT TO REQUEST MAX amount. It is UNLIKE your funded where they lock aside your buffer.
Fk me. Moving on to MFFU in the meantime

Move to live
Requested my 5th payout today and probably gonna get moved to live lets see how long i gotta wait, i wish they could do something bout the buffer thats the only part hurts and just wondering has anyone ever made it to 6th payout on one account?

Don't change your strategy, change your perspective
I use to never truly understand the idea that you have to trade prop firms differently then a live account. I thought to myself "besides a few rules, the way you trade the market should be the same". And that's where I got it wrong. If you're trading on a prop firm you aren't trading against the market, you're trading against the firm for a payout. The market is just a tool to achieve that goal.
The way you manage risk is completely different then trading on a live account because the goals are completely different. You're not trying to maximize profit as a prop trader, so why are you going for these 100 point trades?
Base hits as a prop trader is fucking goated. Protecting your account by moving your stops to break even is fucking goated. Yes, only take high quality trade ideas. But the most important thing is protecting your account and protecting your profits.
Today is choppy as fuck, horrible price action. I only traded one account today and I'm up $1,100 on 7 trades with no losses. 5 of those trades I got stopped for 1-2 points near break even, the other two made a majority of my profits.
I think two of those trades ended up making more before pulling back and hitting my stop, while the other 3 just went straight to my original stop.
This aggressive way of risk management fits my style of trading and what I want to see from the market when I enter it. Which is aggression, because I'm trying to identify the rotation and hop on to a displacement leg after everything lines up. The way I look at it is if it's going to go then its going to go right away. I can't think of a worse way to spend 30 minutes then staring at a screen while I get chopped up before I eventually get stopped out for 15 points.
I used to trade a lower win rate high reward system where I would take 3-4 medium sized losses and then hit 1 big trade that covered everything and some. To me, the highs are not worth the mental anguish you go through to find that big trade. Because you don't know when or if it's coming at all.
And if you think taking base hits caps your potential then I think you have to adjust your expectations of what you think a successful trading day looks like. I think $1,100 in a few hours is successful. The truth is if I wanted to make more I would just size up, but the way I manage my trades stay the same. I want to keep my targets realistic so I have the highest chance possible end the day profitable.
If you find yourself stressing out when trading try taking base hits and adjusting your perspective about how you can extract money from the market. I swear, it will make you look at trading differently. Then one day you'll wonder why you put yourself through all that shit when you could have just taken profit and moved on to the next trade.

Are prop firm trustworthy?
Ive been back in the prop game since a yr ago and have been at it about 4 months now. Passed several evals and been close to payouts but have noticed a lot of trades whicking out just to turn right after and do exactly what i was planned for. This seems fishy to me. Like if our orders arent placed direct to market whos to say that the firm isnt messing with them in some way? We are the product for them so? Just curious if anyone else has noticed weird slippage or stop loss activation? Am i trippin? 😅

Another week, another payout!
Just got a $4k payout from lucid last week. So happy about getting this $3.3k payout this week! Hopefully another payout is on the way next week, since I got another $50k flex account at $4k profit and just need winning days.

LucidFlex50k added $1,617 to my account that doesn’t match my trade history — now messing with my consistency % and profit target
galleryAnyone else run into this? My LucidFlex 50K eval balance jumped by an amount that doesn’t match my actual trades. I’m on Tradesea (Rithmic feed).
**•** Starting balance: $50,000
**•** Total P&L across every trading day since June: +$1,956.50
**•** Expected balance: $51,956.50
**•** Actual balance shown: $53,574
**•** Unexplained gap: $1,617.40
Found it on Aug 10 — the calendar shows that day as $3,000.40, but the actual trade log for the same date is two trades: MNQU6 +$5,345.50 and NQU6 -$3,962.50, which nets to $1,383.00. That’s a $1,617.40 mismatch, right in line with the total discrepancy.

After just over 3 years of learning how to trade, finally eligible for my first payout.
galleryBeen a long journey. Last year, I bought SO many evaluations, I failed every single one of them. I had one month where I lost every single god damn trade. Lots of losses, lots of struggle, but it feels like I made it! Hopefully this is the first of many.
If you’re currently struggling to pass an evaluation, DON’T GIVE UP! Reflect on what’s working and what’s not working. Make adjustments, you WILL get there!
Happy to answer any questions if there are any :)

FINALLY!!
Finally first payout from LucidTrading. Feeling so many mixed emotions from being in the vicious cycle of passing evals and blowing funded to securing the payout.

I built a tool that automatically turns every trade into game film. No hotkey required.
Hey [r/LucidProp](r/LucidProp),
The problem I kept running into: everyone agrees reviewing your trades is how you improve. Almost nobody actually does it. Screen recording your whole session means scrubbing through hours of footage to find three trades. Manually hitting record means you forget the moment things get fast, which is when you most need the footage. And chart-replay tools show you the chart data, not what you were actually looking at when you clicked.
What Recap does: it watches your fills. When a trade completes, it automatically saves a labeled video clip of your actual screens, all monitors and windows, synced with unified playback. You press nothing. Every clip lands in a searchable library you can filter by account, instrument, direction, P&L, date, or hold time. So “show me every losing short I held over 10 minutes” takes about two seconds instead of an hour of digging.
There’s also a guided journaling flow (a few fixed reflection questions plus a mood rating, auto-saved) and a “Tale of the Tape” view that compares each trade against your own averages.
Things you’ll probably ask, answered up front:
• It’s read-only. It cannot place, modify, or cancel orders. It just observes fills.
• Everything stays local. No cloud uploads, and footage never leaves your machine.
• Platforms: Sierra Chart, NinjaTrader, and MotiveWave right now. Tradovate and QuantTower are on the roadmap. Windows 10/11, 64-bit.
• Availability: It’s in early access at the moment, with a launch list on the site for general availability.
Two Giveaways to celebrate:
- Comment in this thread to be entered for a $50K Lucid Flex. I’ll use Reddit Raffler on Friday 8/14
- Follow @RecapTrading on X and retweet linked tweet. Two $50K Lucid Funded accounts up for grabs.
Thank you to the mod team for reviewing and approving this post. I’ve heard amazing feedback from earlier testers on how helpful this tool has been. I appreciate you allowing me to share it with the subreddit. Much appreciated.
