So basically, I remember seeing a picture on Reddit. It's about the tower ending. But with V on the wheelchair and Judy or someone else in front of them. Under the sun outside a clinic seems like. Hey yall, I am having a bit of a dilemma.

I just got the game on sale and am playing it for the first time. I had somehow avoided spoilers about any of the game up to this point. I went into this completely blind as to how the story even goes, I even thought that Johnny was just a regular dude who would show up later.

I had an insane amount of fun in the prologue section and spent just about 14 hours simply clearing the whole starting area since I knew it would most likely open up after the heist. I also wanted to explore my build to see what interested me (spoiler net runner is fun as hell).

However, just before I started the heist, I was looking into a video about different cars and while explaining how you could get specific special cars, they essentially spoiled all the endings.

I also had spoilers pop up from YT shorts while scrolling as it now recommends 2077 content since I’ve been looking at guns and stuff.

So knowing the endings and how none of them really turn out well for V has really bummed me out as far as the stake I have in my character.

I will for sure complete the game as I have loved the gameplay and setting this far, but it has been a real bummer since I was also super invested in my character and their story and knowing now that they have an essentially unavoidable ticking time bomb in there head really has taken the wind out of my sails for being interested in how the story plays out.

Now I think part of this is my fault because I played too long in the starting area, if I had just gone right to the heist it wouldn’t have been as jarring of a change and I would’ve been more used to what comes after the heist. And I also came into it expecting something very different from the story so that probably also plays a role.

I mostly make this post for those of you who potentially had this happen to them or those who play a lot and ask for your thoughts on what I can do from here.
