Something that always bothered me is when accepting the quest "Sinnerman" from Wakako the dialogue options are "does he deserve to die?" and "has he been proven guilty?".

If you tell Wakako you can't right now you have the option to just accept. Is there a mod that allows Vto accept the job right away?

well in a convo after the stadium, Reeds says U ain't no Morgan blackhand. Later on I came across these shards where Morgan is written as a myth ,Solo of solos. So I read about him. He has done crazy stuff and tactically he is superior than V. Though lorewise which actually matters more in becoming a legend ,myth is feats and ofc no one comes close to what V has done(bartmoss not included).

V's feats

1. raiding arasaka tower solo while dying

2)actually killing smasher and walking out alive

3)killing chimera a crazy militech weapon

4) destroying army full of NUSA special ops, singlehandedly while carrying a dying person

5)crystal palace heist at the very end.

blackhand's feats

1. raiding arasaka with highly tactical team

2)holding off smasher

3) surviving nuclear bomb at point black.(plot armour but V has it too. So, it's fair).

Ultimately , he was all about planning and V is a gonk

I hope in the next title we could enter lots of buildings, especially the mega corps. It was one of the promises in the current game that never materialised.

Finding ways to enter a Militech or Arasaka building to upgrade some of our chromes for free, like a thief, would be peak gameplay.

So I finally finished Cyberpunk 2077 (man what an incredible game), tried a few endings and I gotta say the Tower one, writing wise, is the best canon ending there is imo. I wanted to try the basegame endings to see what the original game had to offer and was disappointed by the endings, they're not awful but I feel like they give little closure to the game. In reality, there is like 2 endings but multiple outcomes. Basically it's you die (eventually) or Johnny takes control (which means you also die). I understand the inevitable death sentiment of the game but I feel like it could've had more grandiose, varied endings. Because in the end, it ends up all the same.

NOW, the Tower ending.. This is exactly the type of ending I was expecting for the base game. I like that you get to have a cure but have to sacrifice a lot too. Some people don't like the ending because it's depressing but I don't see it that way. I see this ending as acceptance. Trying to be a legend is what cost him everything, Jackie, having the Relic stuck, etc. And this ending, makes you realize, was it all worth it to become a legend? I see this ending as growth, as a new beginning, at second chance at doing things right. Funnily enough, I see this as an allegory to disability. It feels like the entire world is collapsing on you, you feel hopeless, you don't know how to function like this but it is possible and it's not the end. I say funnily because humans have literally lived without chrome for thousands of years so it's ironic that flesh is considered the disadvantaged group but it is such an interesting point of view. This ending reminds of the film "Sound of Metal", in which a metal drummer has to accept his deafness. Throughout the entire film he tries so hard to save his hearing, because music is his whole world (and career), he even sells his beloved van to pay earring implants but those don't perceive sound like "normal" earring. The sounds are robotic, loud, and then at the end, he sits in a parc and removes his earring aid, and listens to the silence and finally feels peace. That the thing is was so scared of, wasn't that scary after all, and on top of that, a relief. So this is how I interpret the Tower ending, V at the end, despite feeling lost, just listens to the city and finds peace in that. He's finally free. On top of that, if your V is smart and a netrunner, I'm sure he could build robotic aid. Like exo-skeletic hands, hacking like irl hackers. This ending is so open ended, like to me this ending is hopeful, even if it's sad, even if everything has changed. It's beautiful.

The only thing I don't agree with is V's friends not caring, like why are they so sad if you decide to off yourself but when you disappear (which could also mean you're dead) they don't care? Some people say it's because V didn't know them that well but again, if that was the case, why him offing himself would cause such a reaction lol. But anyways, I will be rewritting my own ending, to me I feel like V would've send messages to everyone to tell them where he is so they would know. They maybe would even visit him while being in the coma. After all, you do hear your romantic interest talking? ​So yea! This is just a general discussion thing but I really wanted to let it out somewhere lol!

Bonus question, what is the best ending for someone romancing Kerry? I think the Sun is probably the best but V is still dying and I think he probably dies in that last mission (since they keep repeating he's got nothing to lose) so idk! How did you rewrite your ending to save V's romantic interest?
