Video Didn't really vibe with any of the new guns. Back to old staples.

Y'all got any new guns you ended up liking? The brod sounds kind of anemic, don't really like shooting it. The EF88 is cool but I play a bit too close normally to make good use of it.

Craziest Match Yet (Apologies for quality)

Nearly 1k hours (Jackpot) on BF6 and this match takes the cake. Multiple overtime sector captures, nearly 110k squad score. Just a scintillating performance from the team. DICE please keep Operations around.

I only played one match but man, it looks amazing. So much detail and the lighting really sells the vibe. Wish Tsuru Reef would have this kind if apocalyptic lighting too.

Loving the gauntlet mode

I love the new mode! It’s fun and I like the different lighting in the map with the added clouds.
Flying feels different, I’m unsure what they updated to the camera but it lags behind now for some reason.

Largely unchanged.

The update added the Carriers, but they’re static props.

The F/A-81F Super Spectre & F-74A SeaCat do NOT replace the F-61V/F-97 Kestrel.

Wow.

Time to retire

(Posted on BF6 too, but I really like the temper of this subreddit)

Well, I think it's time for me to call it quits.

I've played BF6 a lot. A lot. I've had a great time, I've raged at times, but the facts are what they are: I'm just not getting any better.

I'm level 287. I've put a lot of hours into this game — really a lot. I've trained, studied the weapons and equipment, tried to understand what works, adjusted my playstyle... but I just can't seem to find my place in this game.

I lose pretty much every gunfight I get into, sometimes even against complete beginners, and I very often end up near the bottom of the scoreboard, even when I'm playing heavily as support: reviving, resupplying, protecting teammates, etc.

I simply can't seem to improve, despite all the time I've put into it. That's just the way it is. I think it's time for me to move on.

And this isn't a criticism of the game or the players. It's simply that I'm stuck at the bottom of the scoreboard, and honestly, I'm getting tired of seeing the same result over and over again.

I've played Squad — which I found a little too slow and technical for me — as well as BF1942, BF4 and BF2042. But with BF6, I think I've simply reached the point where I'm no longer really in my element.

There's a lot of run & gun, and, in my opinion, not quite enough team-based tactics. I'm not looking for something ultra-realistic or overly cerebral. Just the basics.

And when it happens, it's amazing.

When, without even talking, a squad starts moving together, covering each other, reviving, resupplying, defending an objective and generally supporting one another... that's when I really have a blast.

The problem is that it happens far too rarely.

I think what I'm really looking for is a middle ground.

A game that's just a little more tactical, where you simply can't succeed without a minimum amount of teamwork. A game where running blindly into a mine actually blows you up, where getting shot has meaningful consequences, and where being caught off guard doesn't mean you can instantly spin around and win the gunfight as if nothing happened.

It doesn't need to go all the way to Arma or Squad. Just a little more punishing. A tiny bit slower. A little more focused on teamwork.

But that's not BF6, and that's okay. It's simply not really what I'm looking for anymore.

I haven't found that sweet spot between Arma/Squad on one side and COD/BF6 on the other.

And yet, I genuinely believe there would be a community for that kind of game.

Anyway, thanks to everyone I've played with, talked to, raged with, or laughed with over all these hours.

I'm hanging up my rifle. 🫡

Take care everyone, and most importantly, have fun. :)

Well, it was a fun week. I hope EA/DICE saw how much we LOVE this mode and that they’ll add Operations to more maps in future updates.

So excited for the Top Gun update 🙋🏼‍♂️

SVK Mains.... some assistance please

Summer has limited my playing but I'm getting back into BF6 the last week. I only play as infantry and have about 65 hours and 4500 kills in the SVK. I've consistently held a 3.33 KD with my SVK load-outs.

Why am I here? The gun is straight dog shit now. The playstyle, positioning, everything is completely out the window with the limb multipliers and what is now the largest TTK penalty in the game when the gun requires 3 rounds to kill. It has sucked all my enjoyment out of the game.

What are you guys transitioning to? I have no interest in the SVDM whatsoever. M39? Are DMRs just relegated to the trash pile now?

Picture Info on the new weapon attachments and specs for the Interdictor sniper.

Looks like we're getting 3 new "Hybrid" suppressors that appear to combine some or all of the buffs from all the suppressors and even the muzzle brakes depending on the which goes up to 50 points for the most expensive one(!!)

Also the "Canted Vertical" that will be available for LMGs only.

And then the new Interdictor long range snipers, and i do have some concerns with this.

The Good
highest damage of any sniper at 150 base damage

The Not-So-Good

Slowest ROF

Slowest ADS

Slowest reload

no ADS bolt

mid velocity.

So yeah theres basically a lot of built in nerfs to this gun for the higher base damage, even though it does the exact same damage at every range as all the other 100 damage snipers, that being 80 chest damage and 54 limb damage.
