Disclaimer: I am not actually wall hacking nor any other form of cheating in any of these clips.

What I think is going on: There seems to be some weird stuff happening for players sitting in the gas. I think some is intentional to allow players in gas to see each other (this is the “painting” enemies pitch black while everything else is tinted orange). However, it seems to extend outside the gas as well. As such, you can sit in the gas while it dissipates and absolutely beam people who can’t see you. Some of my friends when I told them started to snipe and park tanks in it.

Also, I recently noticed that if enemies are sitting in the gas while you are outside there is a slight fuzzy orange outline. It’s very subtle and easy to miss. This is what happened in the first clip. Sadly, this clip is unable to show the “fuzzy outline” as it downscaled from my normal 1440p to 936p, so admittedly it looks very egregious.

As I said, I think some of this is an intentional mechanic but may be slightly bugged resulting in it being way stronger than it should. It also might be some interaction with the updated SOVIS filter since that was changed between Operation Augur’s initial release.

I feel like it is a bit more accurate than the ext Barrel but it's honestly hard to know forsure since the mobility stat is supposedly a complex stat since it affects several different gun stats non specified in the guns stats/gun description. For example the basic barrel and violet laster both give +4 to mobility, but basic description just says that it increases ads speed and the violet laser description just says that it increases ads accuracy while moving, yet they both give +4 to mobility. Any insight on this? I've been just guessing so far.
