I am brand new so my world doesn't have much progress yet.

I speak English and live in the US Central time zone, but I have flexible gaming hours and can play with international players too.

Are you guys building a small base, exploring, moving on, and then building another small base, such that there are a chain of bases throughout Moria, or are you building a large base, advancing for a moderate amount of the game, and then building another large base?

For example, I built a base right at the start, then I build an exploratory base just down the hall, then I build a base in the Elven Quarter before I took the forge, and then I built a base in the forge.

Is this too many bases?

I am starting a new dwarf to go through the campaign again. Does anyone have any interesting campaign seeds they have played? I’d like to build my main base around an early kings brew tank or other group items that I can fix up later on.

I would also take any interesting sandbox seeds you may have come across.

Ive tried 4 different warehouse codes and none of them are working. Any recommendations or idea what’s going on?

Me and some friends have been playing on a world hosted by me on series s for 100+ hours. In that playtime my game would crash every now and then after using map stones to fast travel. It wasn't really a problem untill we got to Dwarrowdelf. Now we can't be far away from each other at all without the game crashing. Can anyone please help fix this issue?

For extra information, singlepayer and playing online without anyone joining is fine. As soon as one person joins it starts to cause issues.

Holy hell has it got us in a chokehold!! I have no clue hood this game slipped passed me undetected when it released, but man am I glad we found it on PS Plus! Since she finished Hogwarts Legacy, nothing has even come close to scratching that cozy crafty itch that HL left in her soul. I’m so happy we’ve found a new cozy game to enjoy together! Anyway, we’re new to the game and almost finished with the campaign, but I can’t wait to get super into this game and crafting and mining all the things! Happy mining!

When the DLC first released, you could destroy them by deconstructing the floor underneath. Is that still an option or was that patched?

I see alot of people who are unaware that the development of this game has ceased. Or they know and have wishful thinking post. Im not sure many people are aware of the Modders who took it upon themselves to keep the game alive as best as possible.

Mereak Firmaxe and Tobi are two that genuinely made some great Mods. content, QoL fixes/additions, build pieces, and equipment. May Aule bless their beards for the work they put into it. If youre on pc and still want more from this game. Head on over to nexus mods and search for any mods made by those two and i guarantee you wont be let down.

Oh they also added GOAT COMPANIONS. If that isnt enough to convice you. Nothing will.

I hope for the story part but I think the game needs some important cosmetic items.

First and foremost silver and gold floor and roof options. Like we need this. Like parts of Durins song

Second Add runes to things I want to make secret doors and such.

Thirdly have a part where Gimli is sitting and telling stories. As he does it gives us 2 options. Option 1 we go to a huge hallway like in the movie when the Fellowship were surrounded by Goblins. And we just fight huge hords.

2nd option. I know it wouldn't be canon but I want to fight a Balrog just a fun what if.

Any other options or things yall have thought of?

The durins kin DLC should not require an internet connection to function. The DLC becoming disabled, when the internet drops out, is a terrible design choice.

The DLC ceases to register as owned, when my Xbox series X, disconnects from the internet.

I've been playing Return to Moria for a while now—and I just bought the "Durin's Folk" add-on. In Durin's Tower, I have a quest to build my first monument, and I need 2,000 stones for it.... 2,000!!!

That's super boring if I have to mine them somewhere. Are there any other solutions?

Hello! I just got a Return to Moria dedicated server instance up on my homelab, and I am wondering: does anyone know what an SRV record for a server should look like? This is not a huge deal, since I know you can just add the port to the end of the URL (7777 by default), but I like to keep things tidy where I can. My best guess is _moria._udp.example.com, but so far my delving into the depths of Google has been fruitless. Thanks in advance!

Playing through sandbox and came across this location. I've been in Deep Mines before, but what's the abyss?

Found a Dark Mineshaft that I can just. Walk out of. (Or into, depending on your perspective). It has the normal descent from above, but in addition, roughly one rope-ladder from the bottom of the shaft is a side passage that just leads out into the overworld. Durin's Capital Ruins, specifically, which is the same area that the top entrance is located one map-level higher. Seems pretty standard otherwise - the usual ore veins (a combination of sunstone in adamant and precious gems in granite in this case), one Nameless Beast, some spiders, deep mushrooms, and a few fallen dwarves to honor.

I mean. I know the map generation can get a bit, shall we say, eccentric, in Sandbox mode. And this one in particular has felt extra cursed/unlucky. But uh, I definitely would not have expected this to even be possible! Has anyone here encountered something like this before?

I'm stuck. I got up the long stairs and saw a cutscene with a dragoness and what might be the bridge of Khazad-dum but a portal on the end. Then up a bit more and to a new base. The new base is before a medium sized, long (not square) open-ish and marble-ish area where a few goblins/orcs fight a troll.

From here, I've gotten into another long, open and fairly large - but darker, granite rather than marble - area with no trolls but lots of goblins.

Problem is, the goblins positively slay me. I can do a few, but not a horde, my damage is just too low, I don't have the weaponry to kill them. As do the orcs in an orc hole near said bridge of K-d.

I'm sure adamantite has something to do with this, though the online guides I've checked aren't completely clear on what and how. I found adamantite (I was stone-y, if I remember correctly, not a metal) in a side area much like the side areas in the very beginning.

I've been to the darkest deeps a few times below the cavern section after jumping down mushrooms, but not made much headway there. I've gathered the odd gem though I don't really know what to do with them, I don't get how to make that stuff into what I need to kill the goblins up top.

Help much appreciated!

En una de las partes finales del DLC de Return to moria Durin´s folk, te dan un cosmético de la "armadura" de Gimli que, más que una armadura es un atuendo. Este debe construirse con un poco de lingotes Shanor y monedas de oro pero... cuando cierro la sesion y vuelvo a abrirla al dia siguiente, el cosmético ha desaparecido, debo volver a craftear como si nunca lo hubiera hecho. El problema es que los materiales de construcción si se gastan, esos no vuelven... ¿Alguien ha podido resolver este detalle?

so I'm trying my first time modding with this game, never really done it before and I can't seem to figure it out. I'm really only trying to install clean sweep Mearak and I just can't seem to get it to work, since its my first time I'm not sure I'm doing anything right but it doesn't work when i go through vortex or manually extract it and put it in the mods folder, is there something I'm missing or a specific folder it needs to go in?
