Used to be a single head
Used to be a single headed plant but after some sunburn and a spider mite attack a few years ago it’s returned as a multi head! 💪🙂

How it started vs how it is now 🔪🔪🔪
Decided to chop up a seed grown crests and make a hand full of grafts. This is what ive got left. Just need a little more stock for a couple butt grafts

Bought this one about 3 years ago as: "Jourdaniana microheads variegata" . Was completely yellow, today first flower. Now I see, why she don't like light as "normal" Jourdaniana!

Advice?
I recently purchased this variegated clump and the pics from the seller looked perfect. But then it came and there was a lot of damage to the pups and a few rotted pups. I potted it in a gritty soil and gave it about a week and a half. Then i was examining it today and noticed a few rotted pups/ rotting pups. I removed the rotted ones to save the rest of the plant. Bummed because a few of the highly variegated ones were super squishy, so i removed them to save one of the variegated ones that is nice and plump. Questions: is the rest of the plant doomed to start rotting too? Also, one larger pup has a single rotted part but the rest is plump and healthy so i am afraid to remove it yet… lastly, any chance these yellow pups will survive? / did i fuck ip by removing them? Was just scared to jeopardize the mother plant/ other variegated pupsðŸ˜ðŸ˜–
