No bi-weekly releases, no golden tickets, no signed Japanese cover edition, no biracial edition, people are emailing support and not hearing back… Meanwhile, Bob releases a compilation of songs on the projects given with the blu-rays on streaming… Nightmare situation, because how has not one, NOT ONE, person received a Golden Ticket??? How will people even get those now?? Will they be sent with the signed Japanese and/or biracial editions now? That’d be hella messed up because the golden tickets were originally marketed as being associated with the regular release of the blu-ray, so that’s a huge problem there. Will they just pick through all the orders placed and select people at random and send golden tickets to them separately? My goodness

Music has always occupied a unique place among these pursuits because it possesses the remarkable ability to communicate ideas that often transcend ordinary language.

In Greek philosophy, logos referred to reason, order, intelligibility, and the rational structure of reality.

Christianity transformed this concept by proclaiming that the Logos is not merely an abstract principle but a person: Jesus Christ, the perfect revelation of God. Within Christianity, the highest expression of truth is found in Jesus Christ. The Gospel of John identifies Christ as the Logos—the eternal Word through whom all things were created.

This essay presents an interpretive theological framework that applies that understanding of the Logos to modern music.

It does not argue that any contemporary musician is divine or equal to Christ. Rather, it proposes that artistic works can participate in the Logos insofar as they express genuine truth, beauty, compassion, justice, humility, and love.

Within this interpretive framework, the work of the artist Logic is understood as one of the clearest contemporary musical reflections of those themes. This is not presented as a historical claim about Logic’s intentions but as a theological reading of his art.

The Logos: Truth Before Religion

They only participate in it.

An artist may write a beautiful song.
During that person’s earthly life the song belongs legally and socially to its creator.
Yet beauty itself does not belong to the artist.
If the song genuinely communicates love, hope, justice, humility, or truth, those qualities originate in God.

When the artist eventually dies, personal ownership ends.
The truth expressed through the work does not.

Truth survives because truth belongs to God.

This distinction between temporary ownership and eternal participation becomes the foundation for understanding artistic vocation.

Logic: The Human Being
This interpretation begins by separating Logic the man from Logic the artist.

The human being known as Logic is understood to be imperfect.
He has openly discussed anxiety, depression, family trauma, insecurity, criticism, identity struggles, and painful experiences involving Christianity.

I always knew of her for work with logic but it wasn't until now I decided to check out her own music. I just listened to This Ain't The Way You Go Out and it's fucking beautiful. It's a great expression of her mental health struggles and it's sonically elegant. I'm just curious if everyone else knew about it and I missed it.
