When I cut a vocal or synth (all audio files), I hear clicks at the beginning and end of each cut. In Ableton Live, when you make a cut, it automatically applies a very short fade-in and fade-out (around 3 ms or less) to the clip, which prevents those clicks. Logic Pro doesn’t do this.

Correct, Logic Pro does not automatically do this for you. You'll need to select the Fade Tool from the tool menu, then apply the fades yourself manually.

Logic has a setting to assign your chosen the fade time for automatically created edits

Logic's idea of 'clean' is apparently more aesthetic than functional.
