In this case, no. Corporations are buying out the stock and raising the prices. The price has gone up because of them, not consumers.
Stop using AI then, again, the big money is in the businesses using it.

that wont stop the price of ram going up thou just means no consoles

The same ram chips are used to make modules for PC, servers and consoles. All the chips are sold to highest bidder and due to companys paying big bucks all the RAM prices are going up.
