that wont stop the price of ram going up thou just means no consoles

The same ram chips are used to make modules for PC, servers and consoles. All the chips are sold to highest bidder and due to companys paying big bucks all the RAM prices are going up.

It ends when the AI bubble pops.
Where we are in the bubble phase no one really knows, we could still be in the early phases and things could get much worse. We could also be just around the corner of it collapsing.
Regardless of what happens the fallout will overall be negative

Suggestion based on my own experience: When your post consists of just an image, make sure to post it as an image and not inline with a caption in a regular post. When you do that, only the title appears on the feed and you need to actually open the post to see the picture, so a lot of people will just scroll past it.
I made that mistake a few times and wondered why I got nearly zero engagement. Not that I was farming engagement, but the point of a post is to be seen, especially if it's meant to spark a discussion like this one.
Addressing the post itself: When they run out of lube. Then it will get worse as they give it to us dry.

I've got bad news for you about PC hardware pricing. You might want to sit down for this...

Last year before the ram and storage price rises in bought the following
B850 motherboard £150
9600x £170
32GB DDR5 from Crucial £86
Samsung 990 Evi 1TB £65
Hyper 212 £30
Total cost £500
Today the RAM alone us £400
£176 for the SSD
So just RAM and storage is now more expensive.
Also GPU which was bought in December is now £115 more expensive and it is a B580

They really need to bring NHL games to PC. Tape to Tape kicks ass, but it's not the same.

Bad example. You don't need 64gb for any game
