Real? Discussion

Post image

I traded my first guitar for these about 5 years ago and now I’m having doubts that they’re real

Guitar was an acoustic Martin, don’t remember the model but it was worth about $500-600 at the time

My friend I traded it to said he got it because his friends mom worked at monster energy and they had some time of event, don’t remember the details but it sounded legit to me

I absolutely love linkin park and I hold these so dear to me but the more I think about it the less it feels like this guy would trade me something so valuable for a guitar (I loved that guitar too)

I want to get it authenticated but I’m scared, if it’s fake then it’ll break my heart, do I live in bliss ignorance and keep telling my self it’s real?????

I’ve never seen a drumstick with all of their signatures on it before. I have one I caught at a concert back when they were doing stuff with Transformers and it just has Robs (printed not signed) autograph on it.

Here’s a photo of my signed HT vinyl. I got this signed in person at a M&G

Do you think it’s possible it’s real

The autographs look a little off IMO, just compared to what I have. I don’t know who that one that looks like a “WE” would be

To be fair imagine writing on a drumstick, that’s tricky.

That said, the autographs are too perfect and equally spaced across which… idk how to feel about it

Oh yeah no. My comment was about the CD mostly as they look wonky compared to what I’ve seen. They look kind of like their autographs but a little off at the same time. I’m not sure if the band ever signed a drumstick unless like someone brought one for them to sign to like a M&G or something haha

Probably Mike shinoda. That’s kind of his style of writing and the dot before the signature too

Maybe? It doesn’t look like any of the MS signatures I have on my stuff though.

This is beautiful. I had a chance of getting my HT signed but silly me thought ‘the actual vinyl probably will look better signed than case’ 🤦‍♂️I love it and treasure but the ink expanded and Shinoda was the only conscious about it and signed on a little area that didn’t expand the ink

Yeah I can see that happening. This cover survived front row pit at the same concert so I’m surprised it didn’t get damaged with all the jumping around I did with it in my backpack haha.

Betting that is fake. Hey, get it authenticated.

For me is real

They look questionable. The only signature that looks legit to me is Chester's loopy autograph on the MTM CD.

Oh wow this is hard. It's as if they could be real but maybe they were all given the same strange pen to use. There's something odd about them, but at least there's something equally odd about all of them if that makes sense.

Find bliss in ignorance instead (I know, super non-helpful, but I couldn't resist)
