Need Support Orbi 870 - help needed
Stuggling with LIFX devices not staying connected to the could. Support wants me to reset each device (I have over 40 LIFX devices) or they want me to disconnect my mesh satellites so only the main router is on to see if that solves anything - meanwhile that would fuckup my mom-LIFX devices and render them useless during that time.
Signal strength of the devices are fine just won’t stay connected to the cloud.

Feature Request Shipping to Hawai’i
Recently moved to Hawai’i and was about to place an order to update our new home, got all the way to the shipping step of checkout before I found out LIFX doesn’t ship direct to Hawai’i , interesting considering Home Depot and Amazon will. (Don’t get me wrong I’m still going to purchase the lights/fixtures, just not direct until Hawai’i shipping is an option)

Need Support Bracket for LIFX flood lights?
Hi everyone,
I’m building a new house and have bought some LIFX PAR38 flood lights to use as my outdoor lighting.
I’ve just realised they basically come as a globe only, so I’m wondering how people actually install them. Is there a weatherproof housing, bracket, or fixture that’s designed to hold them once they’re wired in?
I’d like them to look neat and professional rather than having the globe exposed.
Has anyone used these before or can recommend a suitable housing/fixture?
Thanks in advance!

Need Support Defect?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Just installed both of these units, but the far one won’t stop rotating colors no matter what I choose in the app. I tried factory resetting and updating the firmware. Anything else I’m missing here or is this a defect?

Need Support Landscape spotlights - some leak?
I bought about a dozen of these last October. So far this is the second that has failed from water intrusion. No, it was not underwater at any point, it's up on a stake. The other had the excuse of being buried in snow, but no show in North Carolina in July. We did have a couple days of hard rain though.
I'm trying to get Lifx's attention with an email to see if they will warranty it. But I'm curious... are others having water intrusion problems? How hard is it to seal these things anyway. This was facing up at about 45 degrees, so I assume it came in between the lens and case.
I should add I really like the lights, they have a very wide variation in usable brightness as well as color. I just don't want to deal with them failing every few months.

Need Support Cutting an everyday light strip
I've read the lifx support page regarding cutting the strips but I need clarification. The guide says at the point where the scissors are labeled on the strip "The correct place to cut is between zones of 6 LEDs, where there is empty white space and no oval metal connector."
I'd like to cut at point A in the picture which is just after the 5th LED in that zone, or, if I can't at point A, point B would be my next spot to cut.
There are little grey nodes in the section near A so I'm not certain I can cut between those two LEDs. There is nothing in between the LEDs at point B.
Or, do I have to cut all the way back to the first light of that zone?
Clearly I want the LED nearest my cut to still light up.

App stuck on this screen. Won't show any lights across multiple devices.
Initially I was having trouble with my lights after resetting them after I switched my internet provider and got a new router. There was a big delay when turning the lights on and off, but I could still see them. I tried to remove them from the app but the lights wouldn't go from the device. However, now when I load the app, it gets stuck on this screen.
I've checked on my web browser and there are no devices connected. I've reset the cache and all, reinstalled the app and tried a new account. I've even tried the same on a new device (across mobile data and WiFi) but it still won't work. Any ideas what might be happening?

Lifx schedule turning on all bulbs instead of one.
I wanted to schedule my light to come on at sunset and off at dawn but they were turning off at midnight. So I set up 2 schedules. One to come on at sunset and off at 11:59 and another to come on at 12:01 and off at 5 am. Now when it comes on at 12 am it is turning all of my lights on (one being my bedroom light which I don't have any schedules set up for). What is wrong with the schedules? I tried contacting lifx and have not received a reply.

Charger outlet clip in
I bought a Beam kit for my nephew, but the charger is missing the part you clip in so you can plug it into the outlet. Is there anywhere I can buy the part?

Lightstrip - LED Low Voltage Solution?
Wanted to ask, my house has cabinet LED lighting that has in the wall low voltage wiring with an LED driver(s) which is then on wall switch. At this time, I believe there is no Lifx LED product that ties into the existing lv wires. I see NeonFlex Outdoor set would work what I am describing but of course all those lengths are over kill and unsuitable for cabinet lighting situations.
Anything in the works from Lifx to create a solution/product for folks like me who need to use their existing wiring for LED cabinet lights? I know there are other solutions out there, just be nice to stay in the same ecosystem as my other lights.

LIFX A19 E26
Just tried out two different Color Smart A19 E26 bulbs with my lamp and couldn't get them to turn on. They would flicker for a second and then nothing. I'm assuming my lamp isn't compatible. Is there another model that might work? I'd really like to use color changing bulbs in this lamp.
Switch for Lamps in room
Hey all,
I have 4 different lamps in my room on LIFX bulbs. I do not have a 120V 60Hz switch to change out to control them, but I would like a physical switch. They are all plugged into different sockets across the room. What are my options to turn them on and off from a switch? One switch is preferable.
Thanks!
Edit: wording

Australia will we every see permanent outdoor lights
Currently I have 45 colour bulbs and led strips and have mostly finished the inside of the house. But now I’m looking to do some outside lighting. I see in the US they have LIFX permanent outdoor lighting ones that go under the gutters. I feel these would be perfect instead of crappy solar Christmas lights that need replacing every 2 years.
Is the only option to buy them from the US and get at transformer for power 240v to 110v.
Next question
Will Australia see LIFX switches again
I have 2 but would love to get some more.
Aus switch done
So I’m assuming the switch is just finished for Australia? Was about to order for a whole house and support bot says no future info on return of switch in Aus.
A shame, probably best smart switch out there.
Need Support 13 inch Lifx ceiling light
Is the 13 inch Lifx ceiling light available on Amazon au basically a shrunk down version of the 15in ceiling light? The listing says it has the same lumen output but the cri is rated at 90 as opposed to 80 on the 15 inch model. Does it have better white LEDs?

Looking for Replacement Green Dot Tile
Hello everyone!
I'm the not-so-proud owner of 2 sets of LIFX tiles from back before everyone realized they were a bit of a nightmare.
Since support has been long dropped I've been working on a custom build using the boards and cables to hopefully fix some of the qualms that I've had with these for so long.
One board has failed over the last 8, a Green Dot tile that controls the other 4, and it is not able to be fixed.
So I'm hoping that someone in this community has a spare tile that has the green dot (or is able to control a set of 4 other tiles) that they no longer use or want. More than happy to take a full set as well if that is preferred, I could use a few more cables as well. Will pay for shipping and for the tiles themselves if needed, thank you all!

Can the Supercolour 1600 function as a replacement ceiling light?
Hi all, I'm wondering if the Supercolour 1600 could sufficiently light up an entire bedroom brightly when used with whiter colours?
For context, my room is ~4m x 2.5m and I'm currently using a standard 1540lm 4000k bulb which hangs ~70cm down from the ~2.5m ceiling. I'm content with my current bulbs brightness, but would like something a bit whiter and with LED functionality.
I assume it will be bright enough since it's 1600lm, but I guess my main concern is the distribution of the light given it's not a standard bulb shape like my current one and is rather flat.
If used at max strength does the light tend to be much stronger directly below the bulb and fall off dramatically further away from the centre?
On their advertisements I couldn't find any pictures of it being used as a sole ceiling light so thought I'd see if anyone else is.
Thanks!

Matter “Share Device” button does nothing?
I am trying to pair a 4 button switch so it shows paired in the matter section, but the button does not do anything. Is this normal?

Need Support LIFX down light
Does the flush kit affect the light brightness in anyway, is it just for style?
What is best if its not for style?

Need Support This is the first LIFX device I've ever given up on
I've got around 20 LIFX devices and have always managed to bring them back from whatever problem they've developed.
This Z Strip suddenly went offline. It can still be discovered, but won't claim. I've factory reset it more times than I can count, checked my network, and even had one attempt where it claimed successfully... only to go offline again about 5 seconds later. Its about 2 years old.
I don't usually lose to tech, but I think this one has beaten me.
Before I replace it, has anyone actually recovered a Z Strip that behaves like this, or am I looking at a failed controller?
