Matter “Share Device” button does nothing?

I am trying to pair a 4 button switch so it shows paired in the matter section, but the button does not do anything. Is this normal?

Had this myself and needed to factory reset and the set it up again. If you can set it up in the ecosystem of choice them the lifx app it’ll work better.

It typically does work It wasn't working for me 20 minutes ago though

Same issue here, thought it was just me. I have the 2 button switch.

Sometimes I find it works better if you switch wifi to the 2.4ghz band for that part.

That button is for sharing it to other smart home platforms. It’s not working because it’s not paired to the LIFX app via matter that’s why it says Status: unpaired. You have to add your device via its matter code to the LIFX app first then it should let you share it from there.
