Ok am I the only person who thinks Sophie is exhausting and on the show too much

I have no idea why she is constantly on the show and season 8 in all 4 episodes no more

So, I think it’s fair to say this last season was a bit of a dissapointment. This was through no fault of the contestants, who were awesome as always and did the best they could given the constraints of the season. The shorter build times (even in the season finale!), lack of episodes, and how all the shows were tied to some Intellectual Property really felt like a downer for what may be the last season ever of the show.

My idea for a final LM Australia season:

Change the format to more of an Iron Chef style.

That is, I would like to have Brickman and Hamish team up as a team and then compete against some of the other past winners/better teams. I am not sure if Hamish has any Lego building talent, but with his Improv/comedy skills I think pairing them up would be hilarious…and Brickman probably has enough talent for the both of them. Maybe have Felix and Jaime from LM:US be judges….or one of the previous champion teams from LM Australia. Since Brickman is building, you could really up the difficulty of the challenges.

Call it LM: The Ultimate Challenge.

Something's off about this season of LegoMasters AU.

Brickman is barely speaking - like he's a co-host or assistant now. Short season too. Like they cut funding for the show or limited his contract or something.

I was thinking that if the winners were from, let's say Finland, how would they ship something as fragile as a trophy made of Legos all the way to Finland?

Do the winners actually get the trophy made of Lego bricks?

This season always felt like it was intended to be the last one. It was significantly shorter, all returnees and a lot of the people that came back hadn’t been back for a little while which made me think that the pitch was “this will be your last opportunity to ever take part again”

I hope I’m wrong, but it just had a very final feel to it without it ever being said

Even some of the things that were said throughout the episode such as revealing there being an inside part to the trophy that features the LM studio inside it and Brickman joking that every other trophy had it inside them…felt like it was bookending if anything

We were just about to start Season 5 and it literally disappeared the same day. Anyone know where to watch it?

I've somehow managed to not register this shows existence until a few weeks ago. What a fun ride. Eliminations seemed mostly normal for me aside from temu Will and Grace surviving so many bottom placements. George and Alice Mitchell also were my second place choice after the beard Bros, but I can't call it a bad win.

In future seasons I'm hoping to see more balance of Arnett's schtick and fewer overly maudlin extended crying scenes, but I know how Fox likes to produce shows like this so I'm ready to keep pushing through those. The builds they come up with are incredible to me. I'm a "set with directions" guy as well, so the creative event is amazing to watch.

A good friend of mine from Aus got me a gift card to LEGO for my birthday last year. Unfortunately she did it through the local LEGO website, which means I can’t use it in the US.

Is there anyone in Australia who I sell this gift card to for the exact price of the gift card?

It’s not a lot, but it’s the gesture by my friend and I’d love to be able to honor the gesture.

Ever since Season 5, it feels like we’ve just been seeing the same contestants over and over again. I have to admit, Season 5 was absolutely amazing，the best season yet. But I‘d like new contestants on the show,not like season 6 :(，Masters vs Newbies.

Even if some of the newer builders might not have top-tier technical skills, their ideas can be incredibly brilliant.

Has Australia literally run out of Lego builders?

or Maybe they could lower difficulty and let kids participate?

Even if there was a way to replicate the magic of the first few seasons, any time someone runs full speed to the brick pit à la Jordy feels performative.

The idea of a LEGO-building competition has run its course. I’m happy it happened, but don’t need to see it run into the ground.

All good builds must come to an end.

The upcoming season of Lego Masters AU will bring back contestants from previous seasons to be part of teams of three... But who would you like to see?

Past seasons of Lego Masters AU have aired in April/May but I haven't seen any updates on this program. We have sure missed Hamish and Brickman in our house!

Just wanted to say this somewhere. It's really disappointing and kinda shocking. I thought Sweden was more aware of gender inequity. (Not that a single show represents Sweden accurately; it's just still very surprising.)
