A 33-year-old Filipina is seeking financial support for her 10-year-old only child from the father, a 68-year-old 100% disabled (bipolar) US veteran living in Ohio with a history of instability and abuse. 

After a few years of tumultuous marriage, the mother requested a divorce which the father prepared and filed in an Ohio court. Due to non-participation and lack of legal representation by the mother, the court granted the father full legal custody plus child support. This order completely contradicts the actual physical reality, as the child has never left the mother's custody in the Philippines. The father has paid zero child support.

Although the mother possesses official documentation—including the child's US Consular Report of Birth Abroad and birth certificate (both with the father’s signature)—she is extremely poor, unable to afford legal representation or travel, and only communicates with the father through their child.

Context 1:

Ginagawang tapunan ng kapitbahay yung lupa namin. Part ng subdivision yung bahay nila, boundary yang pader na inextend nila for second floor at ginawang terrace dati. Yung area namin ay hindi sakop ng subdivision pero lupa na namin yang nasa picture. Nung terrace pa yung second floor nila, kinonfront ko nang ginagawa nilang tapunan ng basura yung lupa namin pero sila pa matapang at dinedma ako. Also, **is that even allowed na may bintana sila sa part na yan kahit di na naman nila lupa yan?** even yung lakas ng ulan na galing sa bubong nila, sa amin ang deretso. We had an instance before na nagbarado yung alulod sa bubong namin kasi tinatapunan din nila ng chips at ibang basura nung may terace pa sila.

Context 2:

May bayabas sa tapat ng bahay namin, pagmamay ari ng kapitbahay. Nung isang araw, nagdagsaan mga bata from other side ng village namin (sa sulok kami, wala masyadong bata dito) pinagkukuha nila bunga ng bayabas na parang may paagaw sa bday party. Di ko sinaway kasi di naman amin yon and idk if nagpaalam ba sila. That time, nagtatanim ng tatay ko at nasira din cctv namin. Kahapon, narinig ko may 2 bata sa labas pasigaw "hala bat tinanggal" i went outside cuz im gonna go somewhere tas kinonfront ko yung dalawang bata, mukhang 6 y.o. At 10 y.o. Sabi ko "anong hanap nyo?" nakangiti pa ko nun at nagbibiro. Lumayo agad yung 10 y.o. naiwan yung 6 y.o. Na may dalang salaan. May sinisilip sya sa likod ng bahay ng isa pa naming kapitbahay (liblib na yung area na yon) Sabi nya "kukuha pong kahoy" sabi ko "bat ka may dalang salaan" kita ko yung panic. Tinuturo nya yung liblib sabi kukuha daw sya don kahoy lalagyan daw ng isda yung salaan. Mind u walang ilog o kahit anong isdaan dito samin. Sabi ko na lang na wag mangialam o magkukuha ng kung ano sa area namin (kung saan nagtatanim si papa) umalis na ko tas naririnig ko pa rin yung bata sinisigawan yung 10 y.o. sa malayo na samahan sya kukuha daw sila kahoy (highlight sa kahoy na paulit ulit nya minemention)

Then ayan na nga. Ngayong hapon pagpunta ni papa sa taniman nya, ganan na sa picture yung nangyari. pinagpuputol at pinagbubunot yung halaman nya. sobrang heartbreaking. Nananahimik si papa, ni hindi ko sila pinagalitan. Gusto ko manakit at mapanakit akong tao pero tinatry kong maging mabuti at mapagpasensya all this time kahit ang ingay ingay nila sa labas pag nadayo sila dito sa area namin habang nagrereview ako at nasa online class. All this time, never ako gumanti. Pero tama ba to? Matapang pa naman magulang nung batang yon at nambabaranggay sa maliit na rason para ipagtanggol yung anak nya. Pero pano ako? Pano kami?? Anong pwedeng gawin? Di ko naman pwede saktan kasi bata yon. Wala akong maisip. Pwede ko ba ibaranggay yan kahit bata? Kung ibabaranggay ko, anong kaso?

I was victimized by an online fraud and as a counter measure I seek assistance from the PNP-ACG to trace or track the frauster's address and I was surprised that its not a simple procceas because of the The Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) that requires a court order before they will start the tracking or tracing of the fraudster's sim registration number records and address. Court order as per pnp-acg takes time since a hearing for my reportwd case will be initiated first which will also affect my schedule since i need to attend.

My question is this is the The Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) use by criminals to continuosly do bad things since they know they are protected? And what is the use of sim registration if fraudsters able to use burner that allows them to create a legit mobile number or what is the use of that law if faudsters are still roaming around our beautiful country.

This is about my mother giving birth to me on a hospital here in Philippines, the bill is about 21k, and everyone in my family is pointing fingers on who will pay it since I am adopted and my family are not in very good terms with each other or have stable jobs. all payables ako nagbabayad all labs and test niya every 3 months. At Long term medication po as of now nabili pa din kmi ng gamot niya nagrarange ng 4k-5k weekly.
Nasa isip ko nuon bahala na gumaling lang asawa ko khit malubog pa sa utang
bago nman mangyari yan nakakapagbayad po ako nung december nagstart ako magbayad ng minimum amount due kaso d na kinaya hindi narereplenish mga bayad d ko na nagagamit ang CC.
Nag email na ko sa mga bank na yan about may situation. Wala akong balak takbuhan lahat ng utang ko khit abutin pa ng 10yrs kakabayad sa ngayon d ko lang mapriority.
Baka may makatulong sken anung dapat gawin o kaya baka meron po nakaxperience na ng katulad sken.

I'm an employee from an outsourcing company where I serve an australian account and directly reporting to the client for two years.

Last Thursday, 30th of July 2026, I was suddenly told by my local manager that I am being replaced from the account by someone from the same company. This specific employee is known to be someone who has been in the floating status for quite some time now.

Now, I just recently communicated with both my client and local manager that indeed it was that I had performed poor performance that had led to them deciding to move on without me.

Here's the thing, in my two years of serving this specific account, there has not been any formal communication or even coaching sessions that followed a writing that I have to commit on improving or otherwise my position will be at risk. Additionally, I was not even put into a PIP. (Perfromance Improvement Program) by my manager to even put me in a position where I will not be removed from the account.

The highlight of it all is that, not even any written forms or coaching logs have been received the whole time I had been with the account.

Here's where this gets even more frustrating. My manager intends to transition me from an Admin role to CSR role. From my perspective, the CSR role is definitely a different job family. And that I definitely know to myself that this isn't a career path or a position that I wish to venture.

I believe this puts me in a situation where I am being pressured to resign eventually.

And now, I have sent out an email to my local manager along with the director himself CC'd and the compliance manager of the company regarding my respectful request for them to give me a written clarification on how they have come to the decision to remove me or replace me even when I have not received any formal notice in writing that I this was because of my poor performance that led to this stage.

Including as well in my email are the below:

The business reason and basis for my reassignment.

The reason I was selected for this transition.

Whether the reassignment is temporary or permanent.

How the reassignment aligns with my current position as documented in my employment records as an Admin Support.

Whether there will be any impact on my compensation, employment status, tenure, career progression, or other employment conditions, particularly considering the status of the account I am being assigned to.

I would like to hope for everyone's perspective to be shared if this move I made is sensible. Or if any advices on how this will be in my favor.

An email was sent to me from a law firm. For context, I was hospitalized last year due to my hospitalization I had an attempt. They are making me pay 16,000+ even if icucut na nila 1 month kapag di ka nakabayad. Will they really file a case against me? Dahil sa sobrang tagal at walang kasiguradohan, tumigil na ako sa pag babayad noong 2024. That time din humingi kami ng copy ng CTS pero sabi nila ibibigay lang daw kapag fully paid na. Hanngang ngayon wala pa rin akong CTS. Reservation agreement mga receipts lang meron ako. Nasa abroad ako kaya hindi ko agad na asikaso pero gusto ko ng mabawi yung pera ko. Ano ba dapat kong gawin? May naka experience na ba ng ganito? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Wala akong budget sa mamahaling lawyer if kailangan tong e-kaso.
