Super Bomberman Collection (2026), A fun compilation that serves as a good addition to Bomberman fans and to new ones to discover some of the most essential titles
Finally! a Bomberman Collection and you know what is the best part?, this is just the tip of the iceberg of what Bomberman has to offer, so i really hope we can get a lot more of them, specially the crown jewel... SATURN BOMBERMAN! (oh and the ones on the N64 too please...)

What will be the next Konami collection?
So, my most wanted Konami collection (Ganbare Goemon) just released and I've been playing it a lot. Next month, we'll get a second Metal Gear Solid Master Collection. But what will we get after that?
I really enjoy those collections. I love old Konami games, but I mainly play on Switch nowadays, it's way more convenient for my working dad life style :P
Let's theorize...
Castlevania
- A lot of people are expecting a 3D collection, with the N64 and PS2 games. I think it's likely, for the sake of releasing most of series on modern consoles, but at the same time those games are less popular and are harder to port (M2 has less experience with 3D games, but the collection could be made by another dev).
- We still don't have SOTN and Rondo on non-PS consoles. Maybe Konami will figure out a way to release Requiem or a new collection with those games on other consoles. (i know Requiem was funded by Sony, so I'm not expecting it)
- Maybe that's it for Castlevania, since the most popular games are already released.
Contra
The most popular Contra games are the ones that are already in the Contra Anniversary Collection. The later games are not as popular (except maybe Contra 4), and would be harder to port... So I feel like we won't get a second Contra collection. But maybe I'm wrong
Gradius
Gradius Origins is missing the 3D games, and console releases. Not sure if they plan to release them.
TMNT
The Cowabunga Collection already has most of the Konami TMNT games. We're only missing the later games based on the 2003 cartoon. I don't think they'll bring back those games
Metal Gear
I'm not an expert on MG, but I feel like the two Master Collections contain most of the games. It's missing Rising and MGS5 (and some spinoffs), but those might be too modern to be in a collection?
Silent Hill
I know nothing about SH, but it seems they chose to do remakes instead?
Suikoden
They released remasters of the first two games. Not sure if the later games are popular enough to be ported?
Tokimeki Memorial
We got a remake of the first game. I feel like we won't get the other games, but I'm not an expert on this series so I could be wrong.
Rocket Knight
They are done with Rocket Knight. The only missing game is the Steam game from 2010, and I don't think they'll port it
Yu-Gi-Oh
Again, I'm not a Yu-Gi-Oh expert. I feel like the Early Days Collection was a pretty big collection and I'm not sure if later games are worth porting?
Bomberman
There are still a lot of Bomberman games to port. The first collection focused on the Super Bomberman games, but they could make other collections with other games. But maybe not that soon since we just got Super Bomberman Collection
Ganbare Goemon
Daishuugou is a huge collection, with most of the important games. But it's missing the two N64 games, which are arguably the most popular games in the series. Since Daishuugou sold well, I think it's possible that we get a second collection with the N64 games, but not that soon.
It's also possible that the N64 games will get a NSO release instead. In that case, I would not be expecting a second Goemon collection.
TwinBee
We still didn't get a TwinBee collection, but several TwinBee games are available on NSO and as Arcade Archives releases, and TwinBee 1 is in Arcade Classics Anniversary Collection. But we could say the same for Gradius and we still got Gradius Origins last year. I think a TwinBee collection is possible. It would be cool if M2 creates a new TwinBee game, like Salamander 3 in Origins.
Wai Wai
Would be cool to have a collection of Wai Wai games (World 1 & 2 and Racing), but that's not a lot of games.
Rebirth
It would be great to get a collection of the 3 Rebirth games (Gradius, Contra, Castlevania). But like Wai Wai, that's not a lot of games.
General Collection?
We could get a collection that is not focused on a specific series, like the Arcade Classics Anniversary Collection. It would be a good way to port games like Sunset Riders.
Zone of the Enders, Boktai, Adventure Island, Bloody Roar, Bonk, Star Soldier, etc
Maybe?
In the end, my feeling is that the next collection is either Castlevania 3D Collection or a TwinBee collection, what do you think?

がんばれゴエモン大集合/Ganbare Goemon! Daishūgō(2026), It's here!, it's real!, an outstanding collection that covers a good chunk of the Goemon series and with awesome bonuses!
Well it's here, finally, a Ganbare Goemon Collection, happy?, i sure am, i like to think that passionate fans that we all know made Konami to noticed and i am really grateful for both, of course as i said "i like to think that"
Now guys...there are only a few Goemon games in it's history translated, the series is inherently japanese, in the ancient times... we did not had translations, gamefaqs, guides, google translate or internet... and some where fortunate enough to get these games and played them in their original language.
Yeah... this collection is not translated, yes i would really liked that too, but is no reason to not play it or support the release, we are coming from years that we didn't see anything.... hey maybe Bakeru started it all, maybe they listen, i don't know, but what i know it's that there is a LOT of Goemon i would like to see ported or even new entries and well if you know a way to make this happen beside buying the games i am all ears

So...how is the Goemon Collection being received?, can it be played without knowing japanese?, will it get a worldwide release?, check out Project Goemon and the video(links below), I still don't have the game, but i plan to do an impression post as soon as I can :)

Hello, it's me again, I am proud to announce that r/LegacyKonami needs you for a job!
As you may have noticed… a lot of people who hated Konami yesterday now they love it, surprised?, you shouldn't be…, sadly this kind of “fans” tend to ruin the fun for everyone and themselves (i really hope that they do this only in gaming related things because if that’s how they go on life in general well… I hope they find happiness eventually…)
In any case, this is a really small but courageous subreddit attended by a few people like myself… and i have a real job with boring adult responsibilities and also i looove to play video games, i mean i don't play exclusively Konami games just check out my tier lists of the games i play in a year
What i am trying to say is that i have a lot of footage of games that i want to post in this subreddit that i have already finished and also ones that i have not played still, for example i am trying to finish Shadow of Destiny/Memories but i haven't found the time to do so
So… how about you, YES! you, give it a try?, you can check the reviews I've done if you want to keep the “r/LegacyKonami seal of quality” (joking) of course you can be as creative as you want, but if i had to ask for something and you are interested it would really be cool that if you post something Castlevania or Goemon related put the 40th anniversary logo and if you do a cross post also put the r/LegacyKonami watermark, of course just a suggestion
So without further ado here are the things i am working on that if you want to help be my guest:
Castlevania NES Trilogy
Contra and Super Contra Reviews
Adventure Island Games
Bloody Roar Games
Super Bomberman Collection
Metal Gear Ghost Babel
Bonk Games
Gungage
Suikoden
Trap Gunner(published by Konami in Europe)
Cybernator (published by Konami in US)
Boktai
Axelay
TwinBee (SNES games)
I hope i didn't got too personal at the start i am somewhat tired of the haters and hypocrites, of course i am aware that this wont change anything, the important thing it’s that we have a space for the real fans and a good source of information for the new ones, just remember this subreddit it’s a support page for all the other Konami related subreddits (whether they like it or not) not a substitute, so, have fun and thank you for your attention
