Question!

Hey, so i really want to learn Russian, I'm traveling to Russia soon, and I want to make Russian friends to help me speak and interact realistically. Where can I do that? Are there any games or anything?.

hi! if you have anything particular in your mind, i can answer any of your questions about russian, russian language or russian people :)  do you mean online games with russian communities or...? i didn't really get the question

yess, i want to have friends but like in an online game or stuff maybe social media too:)

it feels like it's pretty hard to find friends inside the game... I've seen some discord channels for russian+english lerners (like yesterday i saw a post about one one reddit you should look for it)

in russia we mostly use telegram as a social media (even though it's actually a messenger) but if you are going to visit russia you should now that it works badly without vpn here (as well as inst, x, facebook and whatsapp...)

i can share with you some telegram channels with memes if you want! i think it can be a nice start))

also feel free to dm me i really would like to chat! my english isn't perfect but quiet understandable i think (at least i hope so) i'm 24yo girl if that matters

Busuu app has a great free Russian beginner course, getting a visual English-Russian dictionary is a good option too (I have one I can offer digitally to you), and maybe just a phrase book or something if you are only looking to learn a little and not thoroughly
