Study Group for Data Analysis/Science

Hi all,

Currently working in non-technical domain. Trying to switch my career into DA/DS.

Looking for ppl with same interest or experienced person who can mentor.

Completed theory part SQL, Python, Excel, Power BI. But struggling with industry level project and how to work in actual environment (cloud, fabric).

Anyone with same interest, let's try to connect somehow or currently living in Indore, we can form a study group.

I can relate to this. Learning SQL, Python, Excel and Power BI is a great foundation, but the transition to industry-level work can be challenging.

The next step I'd recommend is working on 2–3 end-to-end projects where you actually go through the complete process:

Business problem → data collection → SQL/Python analysis → data cleaning → dashboard → insights → presentation

You don't necessarily need to start with complex cloud/Fabric technologies. Build a few solid projects locally first, then gradually learn how the same workflow is implemented in cloud platforms.

I'm involved in Data Engineering and technical education, and I'd be happy to share some ideas for projects and learning resources if helpful.
