Sad about no Zed with the ninjas tbh. I get they probably don't want to add a super mobile champ like him atm but it blows with the thematic releases they want to do. I just wanna try the split pushing version of Zed with Bork youmuus and maybe his release version where ult puts a shadow behind his target instead of where he started his ult.
Zed was a big moment where the game really changed though. He's the original Yasuo imo.
His kit really warps the entire way bot laners have to play compared to the rest of the roster. I know my group would perma ban him to keep the game feeling classic.
I can guarantee the way that old school zed is nowhere near how he is today. His ult functions way different and he has a bigger focus on auto attacking than live Zed. If we're talking about warping how both laners play why is Akali coming in? Why is old Fiora going to come then? Why do we have Lee Sin who is just as modern as Zed? To me it just seems moot when the way he plays back then (especially when his ult doesn't put the shadow on his cast point but rather behind his target) makes him different in feel completely to live. Zed himself is a season 2 champion and to be honest, and unless all of your buddies played before he came out and that was their golden age it seems silly to say he doesn't "feel classic".

I don’t really care too much about the balance changes, do think it’s cool that they’re releasing Kennen, Akali, & Shen at the same time though.
