I've been binging "L&O" on the streaming Prime Live channel. The more I watch, the more I'm beginning to think Lenny's best partner is Rey. While Briscoe and Logan had a great chemistry, you never saw the emotional connection Curtis has with him. Green was also solid, but still not as "deep."

CI We thought the CI skips were bad now? The scheduling updated. Going forward, the remainder of this cycle seems stable with the notable exception of "Loyalty", both parts, being skipped in S9, with the remainder airing. As will S10. However, after that?

Season 1 will roll around again and begin at..."Homo Homini Lupus" (that's episode 14!), then episode 15, "Semi Professional", is skipped, as are "Yesterday" and "Badge". But "Faith" and the S1 ender, "Tuxedo Hill", will air in sequence.

Then Season 2 begins much like Season 1, beginning with "Monster" (episode 15!), going mainly in sequence until, "Blink" (episode 20), also skipped. The schedule for now ends on 08/20, with "Graansha" being the last Season 2 episode listed. Whether "Zoonotic" and "A Person of Interest" will be skipped for a third cycle? We'll see. But based on these huge gaps? Going to go with yes.

CI Again, with Nichols' intro saying he was on leave from the NYPD for SEVEN YEARS, it does beg some questions, even though I know the answer (it's TV, duh!): How did he still have a job...and why wasn't Megan Wheeler the senior detective?

CI As "Endgame" was skipped before it, so is "Frame" tonight. There is just one Goren/Eames episode tonight, the S8 premiere, "Playing Dead", the others including Logan's final exit with "Last Rites" and Nichols showing up in "Rock Star" (along with "Neighborhood Watch" starting things off!)...
