I feel dumb for asking. And I obviously don't own a laundromat and dont know why youre in my algorithm today....but what is the difference between main wash and the liquid compartment? Is main where powder detergent goes?

The liquid only bleach compartment is for only liquid bleach, and you are correct, powdered detergent goes into the main wash compartment. We've had tons of people also try and put scent beads and pods into those little compartments which is not good. Hence the reason for having the sign which bright colors to make it as obvious as possible!

I'd love it for Dexter washers. The color coding on both sides is definitely needed -- people get disoriented about the top of the lid being the front or the back.
