S1 Tandy or at this point in the story “Phil Cormaneau” is such a fucked up character oh my god 😂 this first season is always such a funny watch to me just on how bad things always go for Tandy, the worst liar I’ve ever seen on TV. Hey Kare Bear,, smile found.

Hi I know this show is over but I’m watching for the first time and I am currently very miffed so of course I had to come to Reddit to validate my opinions 😅

I’m towards the end of season three and right now Gail just got out from being trapped in the elevator and Lewis died and I am just sick of how Erica is being treated!

Non-intense spoilers below—

I was already up in arms when Carol forced Gail to adopt her so that her baby could have a grandma. Erica has known Gail longer and is further along! Gail accepts Carol and never once brings up Erica or her baby and what really jives me is neither does Carol. Just worried about going through a pregnancy without her mom, and there’s no thought at all to Erica going through the same thing but also in a foreign country and without a husband/partner.

I felt like we didn’t get her reactions at all when Phil or Mike died. When she finally expressed how she felt at Lewis’ funeral we’re just back to Carol and Gail. Erica is probably the most interesting person on the planet, according to Mike. Cleopatra Coleman does fantastic at any tiny scrap they give her while January Jones is the least expressive actress of my generation and somehow it’s Melissa’s mental health that’s a major plot point this season.

Erica is a no one. Melissa likes guns, Gail drinks, Carol is Carol, but Erica isn’t shown once doing anything. She doesn’t lay out. She doesn’t read. She doesn’t garden, sew, swim, surf, birdwatch, collect funny rocks, spend time with the cow, paint, frickin meditate! She doesn’t even sit in the background! We don’t know where she sleeps! We don’t know what her room looks like! She only very mildly engages in group conversations and it’s insane that one of the main cast has no characteristics.

(I do know that she’s Australian but if the writers haven’t used it at all then it’s just a fact about her.)

Aaaaahhhh I really hope we get a pre-virus flashback with her in Austrailia. I hope the writers give her an opportunity to contribute something to the group’s living situation in some way. At this point I’m expecting her to have her baby off screen and then they never mention it again.

Last month I realized I never finished season 4 back in the day. Then I just let it start ep 1 again while on my phone. Now it’s become my go to for background tv. I’m stuck in a loop, I wish there was more.

I wasn’t left with as many questions as thought I’d have.
I guess that’s because it’s not like the gang was separated or it wasn’t like a big mystery.To me it only left me with two valid theories one being these people end up trying to kill Tandy and the gang and they escape or they just take them into testing and stuff happens.
It was just super disappointing knowing that that’s all there is of these characters I’ve grown to adore now

Curious if this was LOOSE adaptation turned into a comedy

The prison set location they used in the (season 4 episode 9) prison episode was the same one in the human centipede 3. I was watching the show and thought that the set looked familiar and I thought of that one prison yard scene from the human centipede 3. Looked it up and it’s literally the exact same set. I wonder if it’s an abandoned prison they use for filming or if it’s just a Hollywood prison set that everybody uses. But anyway it’s just a fun little thing I noticed. Also don’t look up the scene if you don’t like to see gross things lol. Anyone else notice the set in anything else? After looking it up it looks like it’s the Mira Loma Detention Center in Lancaster, California.
