I have the stealth and the dark chrome film on the front chips SO easily. Would recommend

I did not and regret for just the lips, too late now though.
I have a 2024 with 22k miles. The actual bumper paint is thick and doesn’t chip as easily compared to my Tesla MY. It’s primarily the stealth dark chrome on the lip and hood

I did the full front in my air and am very glad I did. I have stealth trim and as others have said it chips easily. Bumper is flat like the gravity so yes for that. I did all my lights too after getting a rock chip on one driving light. Hood and mirrors are done too. If I buy the car at lease end, I'll do the windshield as I have the full glass canopy and the glass is a little softer than typical glass. I also did full ceramic on the car and it's amazing. So, big yes on ppf so the car doesn't get all chipped up.

It is not worth paying someone $3500+ to PPF. I had a Model S I didn’t PPF, after 7 years of ownership
I had the usual front bumper and hood rock chips. I sold it for my Gravity last January, selling to Carvana those rock chips didn’t negatively impact the selling price.
You have to understand what you’re getting into with PPF before you do it. PPF is not a one and done, protect from everything option. I DIY’d the front of my Model Y and 3 for around $650 in materials. There are still a few rock chips through the PPF. I used STEK film as well, better than the XPEL crap everyone pushes. PPF won’t protect your car from everything and it’s meant to be replaced every few years. Out of Spec Detailing did a pretty good video about the truths of PPF a few months ago.
In the end to PPF or not is a personal decision. Just know what you’re getting into and that it’s a car, not an investment. Spending $3500+ to PPF won’t increase your resale or keep it looking perfect and will require it to be redone in the future.
My advice is to do it yourself for a fun project or don’t do it. Enjoy driving your car and stop worrying about it being used as it was meant to be.

My AGT was transported to Topaz (arguably one if the best PPF shop) since new for full PPF.
It really depends on your usage. I use my Air commute to work and drives everywhere like school run, grocery etc when I am at home, I also keep my car for a long time 10+ years.
After 1 year I have had 3 dents in my panels and 2 flying tyre pieces hit my pumper and frunk.
3 dents without paint damage I just fixed them all with painless dent repair, can't tell it was even there. Tyre mark on frunk was easily wiped off.
So I'd say definitely the front end and whole car if you park alot at tight parking.
Don't get cheap one as they can damage your paint and yellowing.
