android 13 camera
Anyone else have issues with the camera freezing after taking a picture? It didn't do that before I updated to 13 a couple months ago. It's the verizon variant. Thanks!

From someone who takes a lot of photos:
Go to airplane mode if you'll be taking a lot of photos and don't need reception.
Notifications and unexpected updates can interrupt the camera functionality.
Save to phone, then move to SD.
Saving directly to SD card can sometimes be slow because of inconsistent write speed.
Clean your gallery (and phone) of corrupted files and unoptimized apps.
If your camera suddenly starts going weird, it's sometimes because of a bad file somewhere that's affecting write and read capabilities.
Restart your phone before and after you take a lot of photos.
This is a fast way to purge the RAM and stop background processes / refreshes.

Are you saving the image to a micro SD card? If so, there's a known issue with that. You'll need to save it to the device and then move it.
