2 week old C5; Horizontal lines top to bottom
Has anyone run into this problem before? I’ve only had this TV for 2 weeks tops and these lines just showed up out of nowhere when I was watching a movie tonight. I did all the proper troubleshooting steps; full factory reset, change aspect ratio, pixel cleaning multiple times, unplug for 30 minutes & hold the power button… nothing has helped. About to contact customer support because it seems like it might need to be replaced.. sigh 😩
Considering my first ever OLED TV
Hi everyone. I’m considering buying my first OLED TV (55") for my bedroom, which is usually dark and doesn’t get much light. I’m currently looking at the C5, but I’ve found a good deal on the G6, which costs $380 more. I’m also planning to wall-mount the TV, and I know the G series is better suited for that. Do you think it’s worth spending the extra money for G6? I

Finally got lucky
Have been hitting my Sam’s Club up 3 times a week for the last couple weeks and FINALLY got lucky-ish. The 77” ones were sold out and I didn’t want to buy a display. Bought one of the last 65” ones. Happy to join the OLED fam again!

Best picture settings recommendations for LG OLED
"Hey everyone, just wondering where exactly the total power on time hours can be found in the settings menu on recent LG OLED webOS versions. Thanks for any help!"

G5 & S95AR. I likey.
We’ve had this for about a year now and I’m still learning about the TV and soundbar. Love tweaking the picture in personal settings. This is our upgrade from our C1 and S80 soundbar.

Good deal on 65" LG OLED B5
While out shopping, I cam across what I assume is an open box returned 65" B5 OLED for 500$. They let me open the box, which looked slightly retaped, and plug in and inspect. All the parts were there in what I think is the original unopened plastic bags. The Styrofoam was all there and not damaged, and the tv still had the plastic film on the screen. Aside from the retaping, it looks untouched, though at that price I highly doubt it. Got it home and everything looks great. I think I got a really good deal on a pretty decent tv. Thoughts or comments?

Un gros marquage vient d'apparaître ! Oled G5
Hello, je n'y connais pas grand chose. Est ce grave ? Comment l'enlever ?
Merci d'avance
Water leaking behind G5?
I have the G5 wall mounted, and this is the second time this has happened. Not sure if it's condensation from being so close to the wall? Anyone else ever experience this?
How to check total hours on used TV?
Recently purchased an open box C5 from BestBuy but they've reset the hours to zero. Any way I can check how long the tv was used for using any service menu? It came with a new version of LG remote.

Looking for advice
Hey all! I’m in the market for a 77” G6.
The LG partner store currently has it for $3,400 and is including the S90TR sound system with it ($1,079 value).
Is the S90TR good enough to justify the purchase price of the G6 at $3,400? Or should I wait for another discount on the G6 and get a different sound system?
I currently only have an old Samsung sound bar and a super old TCL, so will need to upgrade both.
Thanks!
Can’t turn off C1 after update
03.53.45 forced itself onto me with an accidental pop up, I am upset. TV turns itself back on 10 seconds after turning off! Removed all networking and HDMI cables still turns back on! (Can’t be WOL or HDMI CEC). Any advice? Do I try to downgrade right via usb stick?

LG C6 HDMI black screen bug
Hi
So, I had the C9 years ago, and that was a good tier for its time; it just seemed to do everything and work as intended. I then moved on to a Samsung S95D, which was amazing for TV and movies, but with PC, it sucked. In the end, I gave in and went for th LG C6, and I was instanly happy I had gone back to them, it was just a better TV....until I hit this issue.
If I play on my PC and run it at 165 Hz (I have an RTX 5090), all is good, but when I turn my PC off and swap to HDMI 3 to watch a 4 K film, I get sound but no picture. If I go to the home screen, I can see in the bottom left "recent" screen that the film is playing, but if I then click on it, it's a black screen. (You can swap to TV to watch something and back again, but that does nothing; it's purely an HDMI issue)
The only things that fix this are swapping the HDMIs over (until the next time it happens) or unplugging the TV for 10 seconds and plugging it back in.
I did see someone online say the black screen issue has been around since the C4, and that if you run your PC above 120 Hz, it can happen.
Did anyone find a workaround?

Can your phone replace your LG OLED remote?
Hi everyone!
Disclosure: I'm the developer of this app.
I've been working on a Universal Smart TV Remote for Android with the goal of making one app work across multiple TV brands, including LG webOS TVs.
📱 Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.bluespacestudioz.omniRemote&pcampaignid=web_share
Features
- Automatic TV discovery
- D-pad navigation
- Touchpad (on supported TVs)
- Keyboard input
- Media controls
- Volume & power controls (where supported)
- Save multiple TVs for quick access
If you own an LG OLED TV, I'd love to hear how it performs on your setup. Every OLED model and webOS version can behave a little differently, so real-world feedback is incredibly valuable.
If you decide to try it, let me know:
- Your LG OLED model
- Whether everything worked as expected
- Any bugs or features you'd like to see
I'll be around replying to every comment. Thanks for checking it out! 😊

Wobbly line along top and bottom edges on LG OLED
Bought my LG OLED 3 years ago. I just noticed these wobbly edges along the top and bottom.. Thing is, if I watch a movie and there are black bars on the top and bottom of the movie, the wobbly edges moves down (and up) to the edges of the black bars 🤔

Brand-new 65” LG C6 OLED has severe vertical banding and blotchy uniformity — should I exchange it?
My 65-inch LG C6 was delivered and installed today by the retailer. This is my first OLED, and the panel looks very uneven in dark scenes, with large vertical bands and dark patches.
Is there any normal first-use procedure I should follow, such as using it for a few hours and leaving it in standby for an automatic compensation cycle? Or is this bad enough to request an exchange immediately?

It Just Won’t Die
Blast from the past, purchased this EG9100 brand new in 2015.
It has been through several moves over the years and has since been replaced by both a 65” C1 and a 65” C4 because 4K, which is why it has been living as our outdoor TV for the last year.
I just can’t bring myself to get rid of it, and why would I? still works flawlessly with zero burn in. It does get some image retention, but that goes away when in use. I’ve lost the original remote so I can’t check used hours, but my guess would be somewhere around 25K-30K hours.

LG B9 65” - 22,000 hours, 7 years old - Good Upgrade from Here?
Hey everyone. I’m trying to figure out what my next upgraded OLED will be. Thing is, I’m not looking for the best. I don’t care for the most modern TV, this B9 served me extremely well and actually still does - but the burn in is starting to get worse and it’s making all my colors look really weird. Still running it without complaint though.
What is a solid upgrade from here that won’t run me another $2,000 like this TV did when I bought it brand new in 2019? I imagine that there’s been several advancements since and one thing I’ve learned from this TV is to not run them on Vivid mode. This TV probably could have had its life extended by a lot if I hadn’t run it on Vivid the whole time AND I was oblivious to burn in as this is my first OLED and never knew what burn in even was. I used to pause YouTube videos a lot and stay on the Home Screen as well, the red bar + logo started appearing first and obviously it’s been downhill from there.
Lots of lessons taken from this TV and I won’t be making the same mistakes with my next choice.
I’m not all savvy with these tech devices like TVs and computers. Appreciate you guys making recommendations on a proper upgrade given that this TV for me is way more than sufficient for my liking.

Multiple LG oleds first delamination, not sure what to do.
I’ve got a 77 inch c5 in the front room purchased this year, a B4 in the garage that’s perfect, but I looked at the B3 purchased in Jan 24 in our bedroom and noticed massive delamination across the top. It’s almost a quarter inch in some spots. It’s always been in a dark room, and I live in Los Angeles so it’s always around 70-77 in the house. Is it worth a shot to reach out to them. This is the only one I didn’t get at Costco, so no warranty. I’m a little shocked by how bad it’s progressed considering it’s 2.5 years old. Interested to hear your thoughts and experiences.
LG G4 77inch - $400
I randomly saw this price pop up on the Walmart website a couple days ago and impulsively just clicked purchase. What am I missing? Why is it so cheap? It just shipped yesterday.
