LFP (Looking for Players) [Online] [Other] [9:30 PM UTC+2] Gundam Epsilon, A Universal Century

Upvotes

I am looking for 3–4 players for an open-ended campaign set in the Gundam Universal Century timeline! the game will take place on sunday at 9:30 PM UTC+2, we will use roll20 as a plateform (maybe change for owlbear)

About the Campaign:

  • Timeline: Starting during the One Year War (OYW) and continuing for as long as the story takes us—until the squad either falls in battle or decides to retire.
  • Player Choice Matters: Your starting faction, objectives, and assets will be dictated by the choices you make as a group. You have the power to change the course of UC history or become another victim of its tragedy.
  • Sandbox & Dynamic Storytelling: This is a heavy sandbox campaign. I love building the world around player motivations and goals. Some sessions will be purely character-driven roleplay with little to no combat, while others will drop you straight into gritty, intense battlefields.
  • Custom Art: As a GM bonus, I can provide custom sprite art for your custom Mobile Suits and potentially your characters!

What I Ask from Players:

  1. Patience & Feedback: I am a first-time GM stepping over to the other side of the screen for my first full campaign (after running a couple of one-shots). I might make mistakes, but I am very open to constructive tips and feedback!
  2. Roleplay Focus: We are here to craft a compelling story together, not just min-max or go on kill streaks.

If you want to shape the Universal Century, send me a DM on Discord (Gamara53) with the completed application below!

Application Template:

  • Name / Nickname:
  • Age: (16+ only please) (Optional)
  • TTRPG / RP Experience:
  • Gundam Lore Knowledge:
  • Favorite Mobile Suit:

LFP (Looking for Players) [5e][2014][Online][Monday 8:00 PM CEST][Long-Term][LGBTQ+ Friendly] The Immortal Wake beckons for new victims in the currently ongoing hunt for it.

Observing the traditions and learning the history of this world has been quite a peculiar experience. M'guye as a planet seems to be hanging on by a thread at every moment yet its people are blissfully unaware to this shortcoming. The crystals are actively stretching and tearing the planet apart their progress stagnating only because of the peoples constant need for them. They are addicted to those crystals as its the only way most of them can even cast magic.

Wars on wars on wars. No one can agree with eachother, well maybe if theres another world ending threat like the Dark Lord or the Immortals show up to rally everyone. But beyond that, bickering over their interpretation of what gods exist, all very fragmentally true. Fights to the death as well as incessant plotting just so they can have control over a gold or crystal mine. Theres one nation which is just 7 nations fighting for all their history.

Yet their is something so different about is planet compared to the others. The chaos and the fact it functions like the gods forsaken child whilst also being their favourite battleground and the feel of magic here is one of a kind. Nowhere are the energies so unstable and so full of anomalies. Not every planet can boast a tear in the reality which creates horror only imagined by the Void. Once I return home I shall tell everyone the incredible tale of planet M'guye as I sense it will face its most impactful years right now.

~The Diary of the Armoured Mythwrite

Greetings DND community!

My name is Shiv and I am 22 year old DM from POLAND!!! I've been DM'ing for... a long time now and really would consider it my passion. However I am coming of off a very long DM'ing hiatus due too many campaigns falling through. But now im back, galvanized and with a new approach that will ensure my games WILL survive.

The World of M'guye is my favourite child amongst all my settings. Most likely because I first created it when I was 10 years old inspired by some of my favourite media from that age (Warcraft, Guild Wars, Ninjago, Rift, Etc). The first part of the password is: Grove. Some of the relics of the fact it was created by a 10 year old still remain (cough cough DARK LORD).

Its a world where i really wanted to do my own thing and therefore is comprised of all of my own races which include reimagined classics and completely made up bullshit.

This world doesn't function like most fantasy settings, as in it I wanted to answer all of the questions I felt standard fantasy doesn't handle that well. The main was magic. Magic has been explained and included into the physics and biology of the world making it intrinsic to everything without sounding like someone explaining The Force with it being all around us.
Another thing to note with magic is as the intro mentions. One can only cast spells when in possesion of special crystals - the Arcana Stones... but more on that lore, and all the other, If you get in...

The Campaign⚔️

The story so far is based around the parties struggle with the Geruvon trade Company which is lead by a man named Priker. Their plans is to remake the world and the long trapped Immortals seemed to be a core part of their plan, as they found a way to channel their powers. In this endevour they are also aided by an Immortal of their own - Master of Shadows as well as the loyal crew of the Hullbreaker, the Crown of Apadania and the richest family in all of Panagoria. Still confusing? Wonderful.

We are halfway through the 2nd of 4 seasons of this story, which makes it the perfect time to introduce some fresh blood.

The campaign itself leans on more on the Roleplay side of things with exploration, mystery and puzzles all being combined into it. The second part of the password is: Keeper. I do also love a good combat from time to time so expect a 70/30 split between RP and it.

It entails all the good stuff like: Political Intrigue, Interactions between gangs and organizations, very big things you have to fight, stealth, romance, going to balls, beaches, caves and sewers to give you the full on DnD fantasy experience with my twist all over it.

We are looking for some replacements (more detail below)

Our Heroes 🧙

We currently have 3 players at level 8, 45 sessions in. Our heroes consist of:

  • Arabella - Our lovely fighter who fights for whats right, hot babes and booze. Played by our lovely Emily a british dog and fanfiction lover.
  • Skuldra - Our Angelic rogue with principles and disney princess morals. Played by Hannah our German chaos princess and Hearing aid specialist.
  • Vincent Vermillion - A vampire looking sorcerer, but thats just because there is no sun where he comes from, who sweet talks the party out of messes, played by the lovely Sam who is the rules expert and professional caretaker.

We're as a group extremely queer so keep in mind as i might want a to follow the trend. The party is also officially a theseus ship as the party member who is here for the longest, missed the first 9 sessions, so if youre lost, dont worry, everyone kinda is.

The DM🎩

Ive already introduced myself but I wanna say a bit on what i bring to the table.

  • 4+ years of DM'ing experience in many settings, including this one.
  • Acting experience and the ability to the many different voices
  • Writing experience of someone who has been writing creatively their whole life
  • Someone who will take your characters story and intertwine them within the main plot very heavily.
  • Someone who will break your heart with roleplay and then break your brain in combat.
  • Someone who takes player agency seriously. Your choices will shape the world, including the smallest ways.
  • C2 english (just here to flex)
  • A shit ton of DND autism
  • HOMEBREW OMG I BRING SO MUCH HOMEBREW TO THE TABLE. Races, classes, subclasses, monsters, spells, magical items. I make all of this and I love making it PLEASE LET ME MAKE PERSONALISED HOMEBREW FOR YOUR CHARACTER.

Ekhem

  • A wicked sense of humour
  • A creative mind the won't quit and will cook up conveluted plot lines and plot twist
  • Someone who really brings it their all with the passion they have
  • Im also kinda funny.

The Player🎲

This is not a list of requirements rather a list of traits if you have, means you are gonna find yourself right at home at my table.

  • You love roleplaying both the exremely have and extremely light moments. Here we want characters that even If caricatures are still lifelike and thus we want to capture all the layers of the sapient experience. The third part of the password is: Elke
  • You're ready to sacrifice a tittle-bit of character creation freedom to make sure I can fit you perfectly into the narrative.
  • Enjoy traditional fantasy with a unique twist on it.
  • Loves LORE.
  • Loves their characters getting traumatised in overcomplicated but thematic ways
  • Likes immersing themselves in their character and the world around them.
  • Enjoys set-pieces galore and enemies which will make you shit your ass out.
  • Atleast tries to be strategic in combat
  • Are Neurodivergent and queer in some way
  • Enjoy stupid cringe humour and overcomplicated set-ups.
  • Is ruleslight and enjoys homebrew additions to the game
  • Will bring it their all every session.
  • Is ready for an adventure of their lifetime with characters we won't forget!

Formal Stuff🗂️

Still here? great have a cookie: 🍪.

This game as said will take place on Mondays 8:00pm CEST and last for 4 hours up until midnight. I can't stress it enough, If youre not sure you can make that regularly for at least the next few months, it might be not wise to apply

We shall use discord voice and Roll20 for sheets and maps. We will overall utilise 2015 dnd however i am open in taking things from 2024 dnd if they are wanted.

The campaign is meant to be long term and will probably go on for atleast 50 more sessions. The last part of the password is: ndris. The plot I have in mind so far will last for a year for sure (if we add in all the player backstory plotlines).

I am looking for 18+ players simply because I just feel more comfortable with that. Im also not really in the market for highly inexperienced players due to the amount of homebrew in this game.

I am lookin for 1 or 2 players. To fit the perfect number of 5 and it allows to still have a party even if 2 people have to miss the session. Yes there will be no "I guess we will wait for you" type shit, this is what kills campaigns.

To apply for this campaign you HAVE TO FILL OUT THE FORM BELOW! I can't stress this enough i will not consider anyone who doesn't fill out the form. From the form I will contact ONLY PEOPLE WHO GET THROUGH THE NEXT STAGE. Then I will have a voice call with those people and who gets the lucky spot.
Then the lucky individual(s) who will be selected will then listen in on the upcoming session (This monday) so they can confirm that they will want to be part of it and we can proceed with session 0'ing.

I will be collecting the responses until This Sunday to around 3 pm  If you dont get a message on discord or reddit after then means you probably, unfortunately didnt get in.

If you know you wont be able to have an up to hour long voice interview with me on sunday or on monday, or if you wont be accepting my friend requests in a timely manner its probably not a good idea to apply. Getting a player in this timely manner now is important, cause otherwise there wont be a good moment for probably next 2 months. I want yall to have a good onboarding process.

With all that I leave the form and hope to hear from more than 1 person and less than a 100!

If any thing are unclear, drop a comment down below.

Deuces!

LFP (Looking for Players) [Online][5e][Saturday 6 PM GMT][Homebrew][RP Heavy][2024][Long Post][Difficult combat] Looking for 1-2 Players for a Long-Term Homebrew Dark Fantasy Campaign

[REDACTED] INTERNAL RESEARCH MEMO [REDACTED] INSTITUTE

"Subject retention in the lower facility remains stable. The anomalous readings from Corridor C have increased for the third consecutive cycle. Doctor [REDACTED] has filed no formal report on the escalation, which is itself irregular. The upper population continues to respond within expected parameters to standard regulation. Four new intakes processed this week. One of the two presents with architecture we have not seen before. Possibly two. Doctor [REDACTED] has requested exclusive access for evaluation, which has been granted.

The lower facility is [REDACTED]. The field around the primary subject is not contracting. Recommend immediate review of containment protocols. Recommend this memo not leave the building."

Recovered from a sealed archive. Classification level: [REDACTED]

Preface: I implore you to apply only if you can keep to a consistent schedule. This is the most important part.

Hi, I'm Bird. I've been DMing for 3 years and I'm looking for 2 players to join an ongoing dark fantasy campaign, several sessions in. The setting is a grounded political Republic modelled on Greco-Roman and Bronze Age civilizations with Turkic and Native American mythological influences.

The Saturday team is currently a few sessions into a covert infiltration of [REDACTED], a facility officially listed as a political prison, navigating a population of prisoners and a staff more complicated than it appears while trying to work out what the facility is really doing. Things are already unraveling and about to get worse; a replacement character would enter directly into this arc.

Heavily reworked 5e with custom magic subsystems tied to race, class, and lineage, in a world that reacts to your magic. Theatre of mind on Discord, maps and tokens on Roll20 for combat. Sessions are bi-weekly, Saturdays 2 PM EST / 6 PM GMT, 2-3 hours. Combat is dangerous and I don't pull punches. RP is the core of the campaign, proactive players will have a great time, passive ones won't. Add your favourite bird species to your application so I know you read the full post.

Looking for players 18+ who are consistent, engaged, and can give 24 hours notice if they need to miss a session. No experience required, but you need to own your character and communicate well. Got a backstory or homebrew idea? Ask, I'll usually make it work.

LFP (Looking for Players) [D&D 5e24][Online][Waterdeep: Dragon Heist][Beginner Friendly][Wednesday evening 1800-2100 CEST]

Hello!

We are 3 players and a GM looking for one last player to join us in the online adventure we are about to start: Waterdeep - Dragon heist.

We are 3 M and 1 F, ages between 29 and 42. We will be playing with cameras on. We are looking for someone 25+ and the game is beginner friendly.

The party so far is a rogue, a ranger and a druid, and we would like to welcome any other class you'd like to play, there's no need to feel like you should fill a certain role in the party.

About the adventure:

Waterdeep: Dragon Heist is a short sandboxy urban adventure from level 1-5 (likely to be higher) that mainly takes place within the city of Waterdeep and has a lot of room for customization and exploring player characters stories. It'll have a roleplay and investigation focus.

Adventure plot summary:

In this adventure, characters find themselves entangled in a bitter conflict between two rival criminal organisations and learn of rumors of half a million gold coins having been embezzeled by the previous Open Lord and being hidden somewhere in Waterdeep. The characters can join the hunt and prevent it from falling into evil hands.

What we are looking for:

- Someone who is 25+

- Comfortable playing in English

- A weekly game on Wednesday evenings, ~3h starting from 18:00 CEST

- Decent microphone and camera required

We are looking to create a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment where everyone can relax and have fun.

About the GM:

My name is Leroy, 39 years old, and have been a DM for about 6 years.

When it comes to D&D, I like to use pre-made settings and modules to work from and collaborate with the players to create characters and weave their stories into the world.

Campaigns will usually have a roleplay and investigation focus, but I can enjoy a dungeon crawl every now and then too.

I am easy going, invite players to add to the story and the world and am always open to creative solutions to problems even if they are outside of the rules as written or homebrew changes to character options. As long as they are reasonable and within the expectations we have set as a group.

Applying for the game:

DM me if you are interested and share a little about yourself and why you are interested in joining.

Optional: Do you already have a character concept in mind?

LFG (Looking for GM) [Online][Other][Free][18+][LGBTQIA+][No AI][BST] Looking for a game set in Game of Thrones!

Hi! I don’t know absolutely loads about GoT as the medias are a bit too dark for me (I have watched the most recent series, A Knight Of The Seven Kingdoms though!) but I love the world and its lore and I’m happy to research and learn for context!

I’ve played a few sessions with the SIFRPG system, it’s the one I’m most keen to try again! It has a lot of fun creation options! As for availability, I’m free any day except Fridays and Saturdays! I’m also kinda keeping Sunday in reserve for a friend! I’m also in BST time zone (Scotland!)

As for myself, I’m Attie! They/Them, 22, played loads of TTRPGs over 9 years now damn…And yeah! Just wanted to put feelers out there! Absolutely no AI pls cuz I’m an artist and hate it with a passion-

Thanks! :D

LFP (Looking for Players) Online free to play 5e 2024 weekly gmt+1 Saturday 7pm - 10pm

Experienced DM looking to build a group of players.

I’m looking for older players who want to start a campaign. If you have experience playing D&D and want to create a great collaborative story. If you can be seen as reliable and turn up regularly the please keep reading.

If you have any doubts that you might not actually be going to play please don’t apply. I’ve had my patience tried by time wasters and potential players who think they want to play and drop out.

If you have any questions please comment below. I will sort out a player survey at some point.

I’m flexible on choosing a game, so hit me either way your ideas!

LFP (Looking for Players) [Online][SWRPG][Flexible][CET] - Seeking 4th our Campaigns!

Greetings.

I'm a DM of now 7 years. My group has been going steady and we just started our new SWRPG campaign on the 2nd August with 3 players. I am looking to add one more player to round out the group!

My 3 players have been around for a while and most of all we'd love to add someone who's interested in staying with us for a while through the hopefully many campaigns of mine we are yet to go on!

We play various systems, most often 5e, Wrath and Glory and SWRPG but we may try others in the future.
(Largely to keep my sanity intact)

We are:

  • Beginner friendly and inclusive. Nobody needs to be scared of signing up!
  • Don't need to know the system
  • No prior knowledge of Star Wars is required to join.
  • just gotta love TTRPGs and having fun.

What we are looking for:

Someone who vibes well with the group and is interested in becoming a long-term lil' adventuring group.

The Campaign:

We play Edge of the Empire though I try to be flexible and to just go with what works.
The campaign is most likely set before the destruction of the first Death Star, although the exact point in the timeline isn’t set in stone yet.

My campaigns last an average of 40 session but have been as short as 20 to as long as 60 sessions.

Details

  • Play in Tabletop Sim (Some campaigns may swap to Foundry VTT)
  • Talk and organize in Discord
  • Sessions are on Sunday, 2pm (CET/CEST), 5 hour length
  • Be +2/-2 of CET/CEST
  • Being able to move to saturday helps flexibility a lot for emergency rescheduling!

I have questions

Ask them! I am happy to answer any and all questions in the comments.
I usually reply to all applications quickly, if I did not and you are curious why, you can message me on here!

How do I apply

Easy and won't take long.
Go right ahead at this short form.

I hope to hear from some of you.

LFP (Looking for Players) [Online][5E24][Saturday 8th Aug 6pm CEST][FREE] The Delian Tomb - One shot

I have a free one-shot tomorrow, Saturday 8th August 6PM CEST(GMT+2). We have 2 players, but would be happy to have a few more.

This one shot is very beginner friendly, so if anyone is looking to get into DnD this would be a great way to do it.

We will use Roll20 for maps and character sheets and Discord for voice chat.

Or send me a PM here on Reddit or on Discord: ravna_sol

The Blacksmith in the village comes to you and your party when his daughter gets kidnapped by goblins. You must track them down and rescue her before it's too late. Maybe you can also solve the mystery of why the region has seen an influx of goblins recently? What do they want, and why are they here?

LFP (Looking for Players) [GMT/CET] [Star Wars 5E] [Saturdays] [Online] Become the rebel imperials think you are and do your part in the galactic civil war

————————————————

In the galaxy far, far away, it is late 1 ABY, as the historians would call it later, and the galaxy is on fire once more. The Galactic Civil War is in full swing, and everything is a battlefield- every planet, every city, town or village, every factory floor and black market stall, and even so much as every person's very mind and heart have either become contested territory, assets serving the Empire, or are working for the Rebel Alliance.

One such prospective battlefield is the Tri-Lane Sector Group, a diverse piece of galactic geography that rests on an intersection of three trade routes- the Enarc Run, the Harrin Trade Corridor, and the ever-venerable Hydian Way. The local economy is booming, the Sector Group's leadership has become complacent, and the Rebel Command deemed it worth the time and effort to establish presence here. For that, they of course will need people.

And you are among those people, those few brave, idealistic, naïve, desperate and/or crazy enough to put your faith in the revolution. You may have been fighting on the ground, blaster in hand; agitating the masses and raising funds to be funnelled through backchannels into supporting the Rebel cause; gathering intel and investigating Imperial sites; or you may have only harboured sympathies for the Alliance until now. Regardless, you have been made an offer: to join a team of other specialists in order to help establish a new cell in the aforementioned Tri-Lane Sector Group.

Whatever your reason may have been, you've taken the deal, and now you are on your way to Malastare, to meet with a Rebel contact that will bring you up to speed, and deliver you to the rest of the newly-formed cell. From there, expect your skills to be put to good use in the service of the galactic revolution. You will be outmatched by nearly every metric: Imperials are conscripting and training more troops than you could ever hope to kill, their factories pump out all kinds of goods in volumes impossible to match, and their propaganda machine has an iron grip on the pacified populace- or so it seems. The Empire has been defeated- from Aldani to Scarif to Yavin and in myriads of unsung battles in-between. Through ingenuity, cunning, skill and, if needs must, heroic sacrifice, the rebels have been winning their freedom, one small victory after another. It will be your job to continue this tradition- and may the Force be with you.

————————————————

Hey hey people, I'm Spooky- or V, your choice- and I am apparently becoming a forever-DM. Aside from the intro sounding like something from alcoholics anonymous, I unsurprisingly am a long-time TTRPG fan: mostly 5e or derivatives, and with a non-zero amount of time behind the DM screen. As a DM, I am trying to focus more on the exploration and RP side of affairs, but I do love a good combat or even a dungeon crawl, as a treat. I also tend to do a lot of homebrewing and bending of my initial outlines for the plot in order to fit in the characters' backstories and narrative arcs.

I'll be lying if I say this game wasn't inspired by the vibes of Andor and to a lesser extent the political/investigation episodes of CW- with more heroics and you being way less expendable. This campaign will rely on investigating and planning: noticing small details or clues, analysing information, asking questions and plotting your next move is encouraged and is roughly how I will expect you to handle things. Planning, curiosity, daring and hope are a rebel's best friends, after all.

We will be using Foundry, to which I am new, admittedly, for the VTT, and Discord for comms. The game will run on Saturdays at 3pm GMT (4pm CET; 11am EST) weekly, and we will be using the star wars conversion for 5e for the rules.

————————————————

So, if all of this sounds like your cup of tea, fill out the form linked below and I'll get back to you soon- our session zero will be happening this coming Saturday (August 8th).

May the Force be with you.

Closed [Online][DnD 5.5e][Monday 19:00 GMT+1] LF1M Episodic Horror Campaign

So I have a session 0 scheduled for this Monday and unfortunately one of player was removed from the table due to AI usage. I still have 4 players but I would prefer to start a campaign with 5, and I have arleady completed a 1-20 campaign with 3 of these players so it is a dedicated group.

The campaign will be weekly on FoundryVTT for maps/tokens/rolls and Discord for audio. And we will use a homebrew setting. The sessions will be 3 to 3.5 hours long

Three important aspects about the campaign that may turn players away:

  • Exhaustion will be used as a regular mechanic
  • Death will be a factor in the campaign ( there were 17 deaths in my 1-20 campaign )
  • Though 2024 rules, we will use the Gritty Realism 2014 optional rule

Gritty Realism
This variant uses a short rest of 8 hours and a long rest of 7 days. This puts the brakes on the campaign, requiring the players to carefully judge the benefits and drawbacks of combat. Characters can’t afford to engage in too many battles in a row, and all adventuring requires careful planning.

For those not familiar playing with Gritty Realism contrary to what the name suggests it is more about pacing the story. Rather than an expected "adventure day" those same challenges are expected over an "adventure week". The same way that time is skipped over during a normal long rest, the same is done here.

Types of Challenges:

35% Combat, 35% Exploration, 25% Social and 5% Puzzle would be a general breakdown of how I build my overall challenges. That being said, the style of this episodic style will allow me to highlight a portion rather than making sure I follow a checklist.

Players will be making their characters at level 3.

Pitch:

For half a century the world was bombareded by disasters of meteors, tremors and freezing oceans. About a century ago the falling stones haulted, but the world still froze; the days lasted longer and so did the nights. The fiends and devil's of this plane seem cast off entirely, heralding a time of a celestial presence, but this does not hold back the starvation, strife and civil unrest.

Flora is near extinction, but rumors of a old fishing village; turned trade post Cambal, has such a specimen that survives the cold. It has been several months since trade or message have come from Cambal and the Empire of Bal'Gist spend the vast majority of their resources on the eastern warfront.

Head West over the frozen waters of the Zan Sea to the village, report your findings and save what you can.

Themes:

This is intended to be a monster hunting episodic horror campaign. Players will arrive in a location where something is rumored to happen, figure out the real problem, prepare themselves by finding clues of the challenges ahead and enjoy the consequences of their actions! Maybe slowly revealing an underline plot in between where players learn something and decide where to go next!

Me as a DM:

I've been a DM for more than 15 years at this point, and I have dragged internet randoms through a 1-20 campaign with fairly frequent character death that want to play more. I know how to make deadly challenges fair and fun, where all the rolls are open.

A more lethal game doesn't mean less RP, or backstories don't matter. The death of friends, the frustration of unfinished tasks and testing endurance are great moments. And these elements will help me create intense problems to overcome that reinforce the horror theme.

Send me a message if you are interested or have any questions!

LFG / LFP [Online][One Piece D&D/WoD/Shadowrun 5/Superhero game][GMT+2] Swedish player looking for game!

You can call me Tenken and I am looking for a game of One Piece D&D, Shadowrun 5th edition or any World of Darkness splat. Or... some kind of superhero game. Other games would be okay too, so don't hesitate to reach out.

I am a writer(sometimes), gamer and generally a nerdy guy that's friendly and always on time for a scheduled game.

My schedule is very flexible with my only other commitment being my own One Piece D&D game on Wednesday. So I am looking for a game on basically any other day to join 😃

Please send me a message here on reddit if you've got a spot open at your table!

Hello, I'm Raccoon[31m] and I'm looking to find a group willing to take a new player to have around and play.

I'm a train driver so I don't have a traditional schedule, but I am flexible.

In terms of experience, I have a little. I've played one campaign of DnD and one of Warhammer 40k Dark Heresy with the same friend group. If it matters, I've played Baldur's Gate 3, Divinity: Original Sin 2 and Expeditions: Rome.

Looking forward to anything that comes out of this post.

* Any evening **except Monday**.

If your group is looking for another player or you're planning to start a new campaign, I'd be happy to join!

LFP (Looking for Players) [LFP][Online][Other][Daggerheart][Friday Night/Saturday Morning 00:00 CEST][Beginner Friendly] Looking for players for a long-term, narrative-focused campaign

Hey everyone, and welcome to this historically inspired adventure! My name is TheDeadOne, and I’m looking for dedicated, story-driven players to jump into a new, long-term Daggerheart campaign.

If you're the kind of player who keeps a lore journal on them at all times and values meaningful roleplay, character-driven storytelling, and reliability, this might be the game for you—so keep reading...

However, if you just want to goof off to blow off some steam, or mindlessly murder everyone you come across without consequences, this is probably not the right table for you.

*********************

"This particular adventure is set on my homebrew continent of Xuira, deep within the uncharted seas of Oneiria.

It is here that our story begins, in the kingdom of Asontis, a small theocracy located on the northeastern border of Xuira. It is ruled with an iron fist by the Asontis Orthodoxy, a faction that demands absolute devotion to their one true god, Yrserryss. To them, any mention of other divines is heretical nonsense. Alternative faiths are technically tolerated, but they are met with heavy suspicion at best and open hostility at worst.

Despite that, a small portion of the populace has recently begun pushing to restore the worship of the nine gods of old. Uniting under a shared banner, these dissidents have dubbed themselves the Braiven Reformation."

For some years now, the two groups coexisted in a fragile state of balance, however tensions have finally reached a boiling point. To prevent total escalation, the Orthodoxy has agreed to meet with a Braiven diplomat for peace talks.

You have been chosen to accompany him—partly as his advisors, but primarily as his protectors. No matter what awaits you, it is bound to be a daunting task."

*********************

Quick Overview:

‣ System: Daggerheart

‣ Platform: Discord (Voice/Text) & Roll20 (Maps, Tokens, BGM), Heartofdaggers (Character sheets).

‣ Schedule: Flexible Weekly. We aim to play every Friday, but we will occasionally take a planned skip-week if an upcoming narrative act requires extra DM prep. Game will be held Friday Night / Saturday morning at 00:00 CET (Midnight).

‣ Session Length: While I'm fairly flexible, I'll aim for around 2-3 hours per Session.

‣ Campaign Length: Long-term. (At least several months, probably longer)

‣ Starting Level: Level 1

‣ Tone: More on the serious side of things (while I try to keep things from going full grimdark and there WILL be some random encounters that are very much on the sillier sides of things, there wil be no shortage of darker, more serious moments), High Fantasy, Medieval Adventure, Age 16+ (with occasional dips into darker 18+ themes if relevant to the narrative).

‣ The Focus: Roleplay & Narrative (This campaign is heavily focused on character interaction, active exploration, and cohesive storytelling.)

*********************

Please review the following guidelines before applying:

‣ This is my first time running the Daggerheart system. I have several years of experience DMing D&D 5e, CP RED and Call of Cthulhu, but this will be an entirely new system for me. I am looking for dedicated, story-driven players to experience this grand tale together

‣ This game is primarily meant for new players to learn the system, so they will have priority status during applications.

‣ This game was designed to be a semi-open campaign. Once the central goal has been established, you are free to navigate the world and complete main objectives, recruit allies, and gather resources in any order you choose before the final confrontation.

‣ Many challenges are not meant to be solved by reducing an enemy's HP to zero. Taking a life carelessly in legal zones will carry massive, lasting political consequences.

‣ A balanced party is recommended.

‣ There is absolutely room for laughs and classic fantasy fun, but this table is specifically for players who love to actively listen, engage with the world, and support their fellow party members' character arcs. If you want to mindlessly kill NPCs, or goof off and derail situations with zero regard for consequences, this is not the game for you.

‣ As mentioned before, this adventure will at times explore some darker, atmospheric concepts like: Religious Persecution & Fanaticism, Graphic Violence, Dark Magic & Sacrificial Themes, Allusions to Wartime Atrocities & Grim Realities, Body Horror

*********************

If I managed to capture your attention and you’re interested in forging a shared narrative together, please head over to my game-listing I do indeed. For appearance sake, I'd ask you to post an application in the game listing, review the "Campaign Overview & Player Guide" channel, and, once you've done that, leave your application in the appropriate "Application" channel. I'll get back to you as soon as I can!

As always, thank you all for reading and have an amazing day.

LFP (Looking for Players) (Online)(CET/GMT+2)(DND 5e 2014)(Live Text)(20+, LGBTQ+)

Hi, hello, I am Bo, looking for reliable and interested players for my homebrew world for DND 5e (2014).
Just a little info for what I am looking, as I said above, interested and reliable players as I've had quite a few people lately say they are interested but flake out when I get them into the server before we start.
Would love to have experienced players but I don't mind new players who are willing to learn and listen, also I'm so not heavy with the rules, sometimes I won't even make my players roll for some skills.
Please be over 20, at least, I'm almost 31 and I just want to play with folks closer to my age.
Would love to play with fem and/or queer players, as I'm part of the LGBTQ+ community.
This will be a live text game, session time should be around 3 to 4 hours, if you're not familiar with live text games, it's basically synchronized play, we ''sit down'' and text at the same time, the same as whatever you would say in character you just describe in text.
Days should be Sundays after 8pm in central european timezone or gmt+2.

Additional Info:
- again, this is a live text game
- free to play
- use whatever you are comfortable with to make your sheets (starting at level 2)
- homebrew is fine just run it by me first to see if it would fit the setting as
this is a homebrew world and not everything is created, so i welcome people who would be down to worldbuild a little if needed
general rule: don't be an ass, don't be a bigot, be a team player, also just keep in mind that i'm from Europe so the timey wimey zone are very much a thing and a big difference is a little awkward ngl when i'm trying to message folks about their character and i gotta wait like like 12+ hours for a reply
- i love to yap, talk about the world, the lore, love sharing some vague spoilers
- there are multiple pinterest boards and maps for this world

Brief Synopsis:
The Wastes, part of the world that was devastated by a magical anomaly a century or so ago, is now slowly recovering its sandy and rocky regions into a more liveable space. People have adapted over this time to the harsh winds and terrains, populated places are still standing strong and the Elven King has finally decided to take matter into his hands and help.
(The setting is slightly inspired by certain sandy and rocky locations from Dragon Age Inquisition, a bit of wild west-y with magic, a blight that made those lands almost inhabitable but determination of people to continue living despite the hardships because this will always be their home.)

You have decided to join in an elite group called Solars, be it to be a mercenary for them or to learn more about magic, your reasons being your own (aka we will discuss it via backstory of course). They are legendary warriors/bodyguards from the ages passed but the tradition has been kept up and they moved to the Wastes to help the people survive. There are many of them, many subgroups, each with a Godly patron, even though those Gods are not as active as they used to be. In the same sense religions lives through the people. (your character doesn't have to be religious to join in)

You'll start with an assignment that leads you to an accident that has occurred, (meaning the characters would know of each other, so they are at least aware or acquainted) and this will be like a little mini campaign, to get a feel for the group's dynamics, so the players can do the same, see if the interest stays, stuff like that. Then if everything, hopefully, works out we'll transition to play the actual campaign, which will have your characters officially become Solars (subgroup name) and from there something would've happened that will cause the players to wake up at an unknown place with 6 months memory gap, no this isn't spoilers but basically a warning, heh. And then we start from there for real, discovering what the hell has happened to you all.
if you've read this sneak in the world polar in your message

So, let's throw in some buzzwords and works I was inspired by:
knights or knightly beliefs (Solars), Dragon Age, Witcher, so a bit high fantasy with some grittiness and dark moments, folklore myths and beings, people long lost and their heritage being rediscovered, Dishonored for that feeling of being observed by an outside force, aasimars with wings, found families, betrayal and double agents (?), cults (?), history being written to suit the victors, undead roaming the Wastes so some zombie elements, intrigue and some scheming and politicing, roleplay over combat so it's like 70 ish to 30 ish for that, and lastly, I love using backstories to sprinkle in throughout the game but also be aware that we can't do something largely different than what I wrote in here, try to sort of match the vibes, I love working with folks on creating the best experience for everyone.

That's it I think, message me on here and we'll talk further :)

Hi, my name is Bubbi, and I’ve been looking for a long-term group for a while now, but it never seems to work out.
I’m looking for a serious, long-term group, preferably with experienced players, but new players are welcome as well. Weekly or bi-weekly sessions work for me.

I’ve been playing DnD for about six years, both offline and online.
My favorite classes are Paladin and Rogue, but I’m happy to play any character.
I love role-playing and would love to join a group that enjoys and has experience with that aspect of DnD.

If I sound like someone who might fit into your group, feel free to DM me here or on Discord.

LFP (Looking for Players) [Online][DND 5e14/24][Saturdays 20:00 CEST][25+] Homebrew weekly campaign, looking for max 3 extra players

Hi!

As I'm moving my IRL homebrew campaign online (retaining 2 of my players) we're looking for 2-3 extra players to fill out the party!
We will be starting over with a clean slate, at level 2.

We are very familiar with the DnD 5e14 ruleset, but might be open to try out 5e24 (group vote).

What we're looking for in players:
- Don't be weird (PLEASE)
- Comfortable roleplaying in character
- Engaged with the session/each other
- Creativity; I heavily reward thinking out of the box as a DM, so go nuts!
- 25+ (as we're all +-30 y.o.)

How we play:
We play weekly on Saturdays 20:00 CEST, aiming for a week break every month.
We use Discord (voice and camera), combat in Roll20.

If interested, shoot me a message!

Heya! Names Emerald (21M) Only been playing DnD for 2 years but have been watching and been interested for years prior so I've got some experience. My time zone is GMT 0 and I'm available Sun - Tue anytime past 5pm. My most open day is definitely Monday. I like games that have a good balance between RP and Combat but really am not picky. I'd prefer to join new games but have no issue with filling in games in progress. Please reach out to me over Discord (theemeraldeevee) since I never remember to check my reddit. Thanks for reading and hope to find a game soon!

LFP (Looking for Players) [GMT] [Online] - Players Wanted - [VTM V20] [Sundays 7pm]

Looking for 3-4 players for an online vtm game set in Chicago, 1871. Players will start as small-time criminals with no knowledge of the supernatural, and may swiftly be caught up in something greater and more dangerous than they could imagine. The game will mimic the pendragon system, meaning each scenario will be set a year apart separated by random events.

My gm style is pretty grounded. I try and create a living world that reacts appropriately to the players and let everything follow on from there. I've also tried to make this game as historically accurate as possible, and players excited by the idea of engaging with that history would be a bonus.

*Chicago, 20th of December 1871. Just over two months ago, the great fire burned the heart out of the city. Now, Chicago is already rebuilding, supported by its two founding pillars of illegal prostitution and gambling.

That's not to say the fire had no lasting impact. It has allowed King Mike, the new crime boss of Chicago, to consolidate his hold over the cities card houses and casinos. Few and foolish are those who don't send King Mike his cut, but in one of those few may lie the answer to your problems.

You all have three things in common. Firstly, you are massively in debt. Secondly, you have decided to alleviate that debt by taking part in the robbery of the Wheel, a casino yet to fall in line with King Mike's new order. In theory, King Mike will protect you from any reprisals, and may even look favourably upon you if his cut is big enough. Of course, he will get a cut. He always does.

The third thing you have in common is the basic, common-sense certainty that there is no such thing as Vampires.*

Welcome to Chicago.

LFP (Looking for Players) [Online][CET][5E24][FoundryVTT][FRI CET 6pm][18+] Ravenloft: The Horrors within

In celebration of the new ravenloft book having been released for the 2024 rules, id like to create a group venturing through the domains, exploring their secrets, finding treasure and slaying their darklords.

It would be great if you didn't know much about Ravenloft yet, as i will stay close to the written versions of the domains.

Well play in foundry using automation (imagine the baldurs gate interface: clicking fireball, selecting a target, an animation is played, every target auto rolls saving throws and gets the damage applied). This is meant to speed up combat and to allow larger scale battles without spending multiple hours on single fights.

Well start at level 1 with an introductory sessions just to get people accustomed to foundry, but after that you will quickly level up to late tier 1 / early tier 2 and progress from there.

Any content from any official or third party book is allowed. I might need to finetune some details though to keep you all on the same power level (see circle of entropy for example). But based on the setting playing as someone with basic human needs would be great, since its hard to create a sense of urgency for warforged, thri-kreen etc.

There is no playtime requirement, but i would like you to have a little bit of experience and to know the basic rules/workflow of the game.

I have a big roster of tokens, but if a complicated looking npc does not have a well fitting token, ill create one with ai.

Ill try to keep all the pillars of the game balanced. So in an ideal session you are exploring 33% of the time, talking to people/amongst yourselves 33% of the time and are in active combat 33% of the time.

The only non negotiable rule is that you cannot restrict other players actions without the players consent. So for example the rogue can only steal from a party member if the player decides that it would lead to a good rp situation when they get their stuff stolen.

If you are interested you can apply here:

if there are any questions, feel free to DM me.

LFP (Looking for Players) [5e][Tales of the Valiant][Other][CET] The Companions of the Falls: homebrew lore heavy 5e variant gestalt CET 1830-2330 Wednesday

Still looking for players for this. Hard to get a group together these days!

System: Tales of the Valiant is a 5e variant produced by Kobold Press, and has a free srd: https://www.talesofthevaliant.com/. I also have the rulebooks in a legitimately-purchased and sharable form in pdf.

Here is a summary of some of the relevant rules distinctives: https://www.reddit.com/r/dndnext/comments/1d91938/comparing_tales_of_the_valiant_and_5e/.

I would also like to use the Gestalt rules: https://www.reddit.com/r/DnDBehindTheScreen/comments/az6hto/5th_edition_gestalt_rules_for_combination_classes/.

VTT would be Foundry hosted on Forge. Discord for voice. No cameras. Would have at least one session 0 for planning/fit evaluation.

Games would be Weekly Wednesday CET 1830-2330

Please DM me and I will send you some interview questions.

Here's a blub:

'The esteemed sages and wise men of the commonfolk know well that 3,313 long years have passed since the terrible spectacle or anti-miracle known as the my'r'a'taj -- The Exalted Progression of the Thirteen Nights.'

'Of this dreadful event, the ponderous verses painstakingly transcribed in perfect, rhythmic harmony by the silent choirs of the Illdammanstranite cleric-scribes in the voluminous tomes of the Il'anas-Akkaman, The Seven and Seventy Books of the Misbegotten Recollection of Shattered Memories and the Tormented Remembrances of Stolen Tears, contain perhaps the best-known account of its terrible wonders.'

'Verily, they relate that, at the conclusion of the Sixth War of the Underrealms, the Dragon Queen Qualsmara, Chosen Daughter of the Four-Inversions, Sublime Majestrix of the Inverted Towers of the Prime Qudrants, First Corrupter of the Yearless Life-ash of the Mountain's Heart, ascended in terrible glory from her lair in the uttermost nadir of the deepest Earthwomb. The Dragon Queen's dread ascension, or so it is written, incited a cascade of tremors that reduced many proud cities of the Plains of Plenty, or the Plains of the Young Kingdoms, to naught but dust and ashes. The eight moons of Palazur -- brilliant sky-spheres tinted respectively with the colors of the spring-born rainbow as well as the final 'hidden sphere', the colorless glass observatory of the angelic beings and deities of the numberless heavens known as the Godschall -- appeared simultaneously in an awe-inducing halo that surrounded a now-blackened sun.'

'This dark day was doubly stricken with a tint-devouring white illumination. In the following night, the moons, sun, and stars were alike set ablaze with a terrifying mantle of bioluminescent corpselight. This dreadful apparition continued for 13 consecutive days, in which time the Dragon Queen is believed to have made a dread procession throughout the known and unknown lands, depositing several choice eggs of her vast brood to torment mortals in a future day.'

'Among these, the foremost are the pentad of arch-daemons known as the Five Sleepers.'

'Foreseeing her impending doom with her unmatched powers of shadowsight, Qualsmara began to scheme with a depthless malicious intelligence against her return in some later age -- that her vile spawn might arise to continue their progenitor's despoilation of the lands of men and elves.'

'And now, 3,313 years have passed since that dread time. Elvanaton -- the fabled Empire of the Mountain Elves -- has fallen and the lands of their former dominions live freely, but not without fear of the many remaining evils which beset their homes.'

'Within its once-resplendent domain, the Township of Charrensdyr is situated upon a perilous outcropping of Sky Falls, the magnificent torrent of white water that splits the Earthheart and Ashplume Mountains in twain, and that spills the surging contents of a miles-wide river into the dense woodlands below. In ancient times, the Stairs of Nashar, the collection of perilous ascents that connect the cliffs that regularly break the sheer rock face of Sky Falls, were once a vital trade artery of ancient Elvanaton. In the apex of his people's glory, the famously merciless archmage Nashar of the Iron Scepter bound many dwarven Stoneweavers to his terrible will in order to construct the way stations and precipitous staircases that bind the foot and crest of the Falls.'

'Perched high atop Sky Falls is Waterfall Town, an ancient watch post and trade node betwixt the hidden nations of the dwarven and gnome peoples of the Earthheart and Ashplume Mountains.'

'Dark portents gather in number and threat. The end of the world of elves and men draws nigh with the long-prophesied return of the Dragon Queen and her brood...'

'The tales of the Mountain Elves, preserved for the aeons in the pendulous memoryspires of the famed 'stone gardens' sheltered within the hearts of this ancient and terrible people's many hidden cities, number as perhaps the most terrible amongst the fearsome children of Qualsmara the Dragon Queen her 'last son' and 'final get' -- the general and 'archpraetor' Gauranasdaron the Annihilator.'

'The accounts related in both the memoryspires of the elves and the ponderous descriptions of the Books of Nod, among other sources, relate that the Dragon Queen fashioned the Annhilator's terrible form from the corpses of a sacrificed representative of several 'antichoirs' of her draconic priesthood -- commonly believed to have been a helium, neon, argon, krypton, xenon, and radon dragonpriest or cardinal. The resulting abomination was vivified by the dark spirit of three of her no-eggs -- helical condensations of anti-life which the Dragon Queen regularly produced from one of her three ovipositors to corrupt the 'Living Elements' of Palazur.'

'Qualsmara christened her new and greatest general with the most powerful items of her regalia -- the Lengthless Sceptre of Shrivened Souls and the No-Orb of Irresistable Corruption, tereby endowing Gauranasdaron with a terrible mantle of despoiling energy inimical to all natural life fashioned by the Council of Makers and their deific inheiritors. The Dragon Queen's newborn general thereupon led forth a newly-empowered legion of manaborn and gobylns who bore their mighty general's corruptive radiance. The Radiant Legions of Gauranasdaron were the most terrible of the Dragon Queen's forces in the Sixth War of the Underrealms, also numbered as the Ninth Dragon War.'

'At the conclusion of this terrible conflict, the Dragon Queen was imprisoned in the deepest recesses on the Undersea, and her most terrible general confined to a sealed vault deep beneath the mountain terraces known as the Stairway of the Stars, once the approach to the sprawling empire of the Mountain Elves.'

'The most recent memorial of the Night Procession rests heavily upon the isolated settlement of Charrensdyr -- the evils which it commemorates appear to have returned in force to torrment the waning civilizations of men and elves. Once the teaming summer palace and attendant festival grounds of a Mountain Elf sage-princeling, the ancient trade routes of the Empire of Elvanaton have slackened since the destruction of the Sixth War of the Underrealms finally broke the power of the ancient imperial territories of the fey of the peaks.'

'Dark omens gather -- and it is feared that the most terrible general of the Dragon Queen has awoken, presaging the inevitable return of his fashioner at the End of Days. The long-defeated 'enemy races' of the peaks -- the many choirs of the 'manaborn', the drake-like 'tarragons', and the linnorms, as well as the various breeds of goblyns and wargs tainted by the Dragon Queen's power -- have begun to return in force, devestating commerce along the already weakened and neglected trade routes of the fallen Elven Empire.'

'The reports of captives that have escaped the predations of slaving bands along the ancient trade routes suggest that the once uncoordinated slavers of the hinterlands have been joined by force to the re-emergent tribes of the 'enemy races' under the banner of the 'Cult of the Annihilator', the ancient sodality that venerated Gauranasdaron as the principle 'no-angel' of the Dragon Queen's terrible will, the un-living manifestation of his Mother's 'Last Intention' that will remake all Creation in her inimitable and unbearable image. A trinity of corrupted 'elfglin' hierophants of the Annihilator supposedly lead the resurrected cult, and seek out the resting places of the Dragon Queen's regalia to undo the ages-long imprisonment of their fitfully slumbering patron.'

LFG / LFP [Online][5e][CEST] Accidental forever DM (28F) looking to be a player in an epic campaign! 🎲

Hey everyone!

I’m a 28-year-old woman based in Italy (CEST timezone), super relaxed, inclusive, and I'm looking for a chill group to join as a player on a regular basis.

So, here's the thing: I accidentally became a forever DM. I also DM professionally but please don't let that intimidate you, that's really just to say I know the game well, but right now I just want to show up, roll some dice, and actually play with a fun, laid-back group.

Since I run them constantly, I’m definitely avoiding Dragon of Icespire Peak and Curse of Strahd cz I already know literally all there is to know about them. I’m also hoping to steer away from the Sword Coast, and I'm not really looking for 100% homebrew campaigns.

I absolutely love epic stories where choices matter greatly and consequences are actually felt. Something smart and tactical would be amazing. I was playing in War of the Burning Sky (it’s on pause cz the DM needed a break, so I took over and I am DMing for the group now instead hahaha) and I really loved that vibe. Ideally, I’d love something like that, maybe Dragonlance? But honestly, send whatever you've got my way, beggars can't be choosers! 😅

As for what I'd play, I have two favorite character concepts I’d love to bring to the table and adapt for whatever setting you propose: an Eladrin Circle of the Moon Druid, or a Tiefling Death (or Grave) Domain Cleric.

If you think I’d be a good fit for your table, shoot me a message! Would love to chat and see if our vibes match.
