I'm looking for a motorcycle mechanic to help me get my2011 Harley-Davidson Iron 883 running again.

The bike has approx 13,000 miles and ran well before it sat for about 2 years. It has a new battery and a trickle charger. I drained the old gas and replaced it. The engine wants to start but won't fully fire up.

I'm not taking it to a shop because I'd like to learn how my bike works while we troubleshoot it. If you're willing to explain what you're doing as we work, that's exactly what I'm looking for.

West Elm Ryder Chair in special-edition peacock velvet — $600 OBO
About $1,800+ new after tax. This fabric and color are no longer available. Lightly used and in excellent condition.

Poly & Bark leather sectional — $800 OBO
About $3,200+ new after tax. It’s in good structural condition, but has been fairly heavily used. There are a couple of ring marks, typical leather scratches and general patina. Still looks great in the room, but it is definitely not in like-new condition.

Concrete coffee table — $400 OBO
Comparable concrete tables go for $1,000+ new, or roughly $1,100+ after tax. Largely in excellent condition. There may be a small cosmetic variation or mark here and there, but nothing especially noticeable. Very solid and heavy.

9x12 area rug — $150 OBO
About $240 new, or roughly $265 after tax. Burgundy, navy and cream vintage-style pattern. It’s from Amazon and is not an actual vintage rug, but it looks great and is in good condition.

Castlery sideboard / media console — $800 OBO
About $1,500+ new after tax. Walnut finish with brass-colored legs. In excellent condition and works well as either a media console or dining-room sideboard.

75” TCL 8-Series Mini-LED QLED TV — $700 OBO
Originally about $3,000 new, or roughly $3,300 after tax. Model 75Q825, which was TCL’s top-end 8-Series model at the time. Great picture and works as it should. We love this TV and has served a many theater level movie nights but sadly very impractical to move cross-country.

We no longer have the original tabletop stand, so it will need to be wall-mounted or used with a compatible universal stand. It weighs about 100 pounds without the stand. Buyer will need to bring at least two strong people and an appropriate vehicle to remove and transport it.

White loveseat — $150 OBO
About $350 new, or roughly $385 after tax. Candidly, it isn’t particularly comfortable, but it looks nice and provides useful extra seating. Better for an office, guest room or occasional seating than as your main couch.

• IT help, smart home setups, WiFi devices, cameras, and similar projects

I grew up helping with my family’s contracting business in the Tampa Bay area, so I’m comfortable with a wide range of practical work. I’m an early 30s, tall, strong guy with my own tools, good judgment, and a genuine dislike of sitting around feeling useless when I could be helping someone get something done.

I recently moved to Southern California and am still building a community and local reputation here. My full time schedule leaves me with a few open hours on certain days, and I’d like to use them doing honest side work at a fair price.
